The hotel location was very close to the train station, convenient store and restaurants. Nagoya station was one station away and it was walkable distance. Many times after my husband and I ate dinner at Nagoya station we walked back to the hotel to burn off some calories. There was washing machine and even provided laundry detergent. That was a nice touch. The room had nice color theme and was very modern.

The room we stayed had a kitchenette but there was no dishes nor utensils. Had to call house keeping for it and was a bit inconvenient. Also the iron and ironing board was not in the room. Many other hotels we stayed had iron and ironing board in the room.

My family, with two children aged 4 and 6, stayed at the Espacio suite for six days, and we were delighted with the service and the quality of the room. The room rate is slightly pricier than that of the regular deluxe rooms, but it includes breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening drinks in the lounge. The room itself features a small kitchen and a washer/dryer, which is really helpful for a long stay, allowing us to do some simple cooking and wash our clothes. The hotel is also well located. Although it is not situated at Nagoya station or Sakae (in fact, it's right between these two stations), it is easy to get around as it is just one station away. If you'd prefer to take the bus, there are bus stations directly behind the hotel. For families travelling with children, there is also the Airport Limo bus stop right in front of the hotel, so you need not worry about carrying kids and luggage while taking the subway. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Nagoya!

The Location. There is airport shuttle bus to the hotel. Besides, the hotel is within 3 mins walk to the Fushimi station which provides connection to transportation hubs, such as the Nagoya Station. Direct access to the transportation hub but away from the crowds of Nagoya station! The Staff. We asked the staff to make restaurant bookings for us, as we were not able to complete the booking without a Japanese mobile phone contact. One of the restaurants was fully booked. The hotel staff called another restaurant of the same chain and reserved a table for us!

Nothing that I can think of … well the pillow was a bit too soft …

I travel frequently and have stayed in many different hotels around the world. Perhaps that’s why this hotel felt good, but rather ordinary to me. Our room was located on the 15th floor, offering a beautiful view over the city. The hotel staff were very friendly, and their hospitality was warm and welcoming, making our stay pleasant. I am especially grateful for their assistance in helping me search for my lost documents.

The soap provided in small pieces was, in my opinion, not very convenient to use. The bed was a bit narrow for two people.

Lovely old fashioned large hotel, a throw back to the old plush hotels of days gone by, now all too sadly replaced with modern trendy places which just don’t offer this level of service. Huge room. Very attentive staff. A coffee machine was a fabulous treat as we’ve found it so hard to get good coffee in Japanese hotels. Free taxi to the station was also very welcome as it’s quite a walk. Very good value.

We only discovered the special sakura afternoon teas in the Jardin Lounge as we were leaving, and would have loved to have treated ourselves to one but didn’t have time.

Room size is bigger than usual japanese room size. The facilities in the room are really useful especially the washing machine and the multifunctional Balmuda oven.

THE HOTEL DID'NT LET US CHECK IN. The first impression when we arrived at the hotel was quite bad. We arrived the hotel around 10.30 am on the 2nd day of our booking(because we took an overnight flight and didn't want to hang around waiting for check in at 3pm). But the 1st floor staffs refused to let us check in. They keep insisting us on check in at 3pm even I show the responding letter from the hotel reception. After I had explained for half an hour they decided to make a call to the main lobby reception and finally they let my family check in. THE ROOM INSECT. My 2yr old kid got beitten by some insects around his eyebrown and got the big red itchy.

Good location, easy stroll to metro or gallery/museum precinct, many eating places nearby. 24hr hotel reception is handy. We stayed at Nagoya Kanko in December and there were lovely Christmas decorations, big display in the lobby. Very reasonable price for area. Choice of restaurants on site. Excellent breakfast buffet at Cafe Sud. Daily newspaper provided which was a nice touch. Kids enjoyed complimentary 24/7 self service drinks/snacks. All staff very attentive and keep to help.

We did not have breakfast included in our room rate, so paid daily as we used Cafe Sud. Staff were always a bit baffled by this. And almost each time asked us to insert our Visa card to pay, when an ApplePay/Visa screen tap should have been fine. We kept asking to tap but staff didn’t know how to use their POS to allow this. Assured us ApplePay/Visa tap was not possible. Last day we asked to tap and the staff member knew how to work the POS so tap was fine.

Room was excellent, amenities were excellent. The thoughtfulness of the facilities in room were well thought out. Views were unrestricted and fanatic, proximity to Shimozono Park was fantastic to keep kids entertained. Plenty of convenience stars and a wonderful udon shop down the road.

The staff were extremely friendly but their attentiveness bordered on uncomfortable, one gentleman in particular was particularly scowly at our kids which certainly did not make us feel comfortable.

Property in almost centre of Nagoya. Restaurants and convenience stores are around the corner. 15mins walking time to the central where you have all stuff that you want. Room is big for three people. Beds are comfy. Pillows are a little bit hard and small😅 WiFi works well. Staff are helpful and pretty good at English speaking. We drive so we have free parking access and you can enter/exit whenever you want👍🏽 We also made a meal at one of their restaurants with tappenyaki which were delicious. Reasonable price since they were doing promotion. We were lucky. I would recommend people stay there in Nagoya.

Nothing. All good.

The hotel staff is fabulous. The location of the hotel was perfect, proximity to many cafe and restaurant choices and the train station as well. The room was very spacious. The lounge was an absolute gem.

The rooms were a bit dated and as we were looking for more plugs to charge our devices (we were 4 people), we found a lot of dusty areas and lamps. There are no USB ports. The washroom was a bit dated as well, but we've seen worse.
