For what's supposedly a basic, older business hotel this place was outstanding, with all of the best qualities of a classic midcentury hotel kept intact. I was very impressed at how clean immaculately kept the interiors were. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had at any hotel and the onsen was really satisfying after a long day. Location was fine, close to restaurants and public transit and not too far from the main station. Between these amenities and the rate this place was ideal for a short stay in Nagoya.

Some of the linens could use some refreshment. Although the appliances in the rooms worked I felt the tub was a bit small, which made using the public bath a necessity. The key-drop system was a bit cumbersome, for instance I didn't know if I should have left my key at the front desk during quick trips out at night. Finally non-Japanese speakers may find it difficult to interact with staff, who try their best. None of this should take away from what was otherwise an excellent experience.

Clean and comfortable room. Not too big but that wasn’t a problem for us. Breakfast was included which was a huge bonus. All in all good value for money!

Location was ok, but about a 20 minute walk away from the main spots we visited. Unfortunately wasn’t able to visit the onsen, which would have been included, because we have tattoos.

The location is so so so so convenient. Easily to get a bus to NAGOYA STATION or SAKAE ( just 3 mins walk from the hotel). Actually U even can walk there. The room is good and the breakfast is great. I definitely will come back again on my next trip.

The people were lovely. They really looked after us and helped us get taxis etc. The hot spring communal washroom was an amazing experience!

The onsen situation is a bit confusing, I think that there might have been multiple baths or locations but I only used one of them.

Bed was in good shape, room was nice and clean (typically small, especially the toilet/shower). I'd stay again.

Receptionist struggled with English on arrival. No-one directed us to rear lobby with tourist information and seating. Little choice of of Western breakfast items and the Asian options were not clearly labelled to help westerners.
