A small number of beautiful rooms in a lovely pub. Felt very cosy and welcoming. Top-notch food at fair prices. Very nice included breakfast. Very polite and courteous staff. Added bonus is that the pub closes at 10pm, so no late nights to disturb guests (that's a huge 'plus' from the guest room viewpoint). Nice quality toiletries too!

The dinner menu and food served was high quality and delicious, but a relatively limited choice (e.g. if you didn't like fish). A couple of "pub classics" would be good to have available for diners who are staying more than 1 or 2 nights and want something less fancy or down-to-eart (e.g. a nice pie, with mash and veg).

The Three Horseshoes is a beautiful old inn, renovated to an extremely high standard with 5 or 6 Luxury bedrooms. We stayed in Thyme, which was spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished with a comfortable 6ft wide Hypnos bed and lovely modern bathroom with both walk in shower and full size bathtub.. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the breakfasts were plentiful and very tasty. We had an evening meal one night which was also beautifully cooked and presented and was very delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for 2 nights while we visited the amazing Thursford Christmas Spectacular show nearby.

Nothing

Everything was great, from the beautiful garden outside to the lovely ambience & decor inside. Our room 'Sage' was beautiful with a very comfortable king ?super king sized bed. It was a shame we were only there 1 night..we will stay longer next time. The breakfast was superb & the staff were amazing...very friendly. A special shout out to Charles who served our breakfast...he was very professional, friendly & helpful.

We arrived at 8pm on Sunday night to find the bar area & reception closing with nobody to book us in or take us to our room. The gentleman closing the bar was as helpful as he could be & a lady who had left off duty earlier kindly returned to check us in & show us to our room. On my booking email & on the website it states that checking in is until 9pm o a sunday. I did mention my concern about this at the time so hopefully it has been amended. Apart from that it was excellent.

We have used The Three Horseshoes before as it's got everything our employees need when they stay over. The rooms are great as are the beds, the breakfast is apparently outstanding, (I don't stay there but our tech guys do and they are fussy). It's in a great location for the site we are working at (Thursford Christmas Experience). The staff are also amazing. Guests get shown to their rooms, and information is provided regarding where everything is.

Nothing really, it just suits us as a company and our tech team know the place and are happy there.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Charles who shared liberally of his knowledge and good cheer (Including his wine training and a carrot joke). A regular patron of the bar befriended us which made us feel even more “at home”. The food was excellent - both breakfast and dinner. The room was modern, the bed quite comfortable. Despite being directly on the road out of (an admittedly small) town, the traffic noise was not bothersome. There were several interesting things to see and do in the immediate area.

That it’s not closer to home

The Room A lovely, well laid out room, came with refreshments, 2 free Easter eggs and bathroom toiletries; which was a nice extra touch. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. Location It is set in a very rural location so it was peaceful; there was not much traffic and my wake up view was a field of cows...who obviously weren't morning cows as they were very quiet. It's not far from towns (like Holt) so if (like me) you can't go anywhere in the UK without visiting a Joules shop, you're never too far from one (or two) here!! Facilities There is ample parking at the property and a pretty outdoor patio garden. The pub itself serves food and drink (check opening times as these differ on bank holidays) and there are other local feeding options in the form of pubs and takeaways around. The breakfast was delicious and there are plenty of options as well as cooked food from toast to a full English and the staff are very friendly and can't do enough to help you.

Two points for feedback: a plug socket next to the dressing table & mirror would be handy and brown (or an alternative to white) bread available for breakfast.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!!!!! A one night stay on 3 day bed and breakfast crawl in Norfolk. Staff were exceptional in every way. Greeting on arrival to the rooms and the amazing evening meal and breakfast. Full English was spot on, quality of ingredients, fresh and hot. Pancakes with a fruit selection and honey, and or syrup. As always in hospitality staffing is an issue but you would never know with the service, not just us but everyone got. Front of house staff were attentive and helpful but not to excess. Shame could only give 5 stars.

Didn't stay longer

The rooms are beautifully decorated. The general manager was very helpful and welcoming. The barman and waitress really looked after us. We ate dinner in the restuarant also and the food was delicious.

New management have recently come in and a charge of £35 is added if a child stays for bedding and breakfast. All my child eats is a bowl of cereal so this cost is very high and unfortunately we won't be able to return if this cost is always in place going forward which is a shame as we've stayed a few times.

Beautiful room and the most comfortable bed we have slept in for sometime. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were so nice too. We would definitely stay again with no hesitateion.

The road was a little noisy in the morning but we did have the windows open as it was hot.

A well presented spacious pub/restaurant. Lovely garden and plenty of parking. Staff were extremely welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and the service provided throughout our stay was excellent and consistent. Room was furnished and presented to an extremely high standard and certainly exceeded our expectations. Good selection of food and drink. All meals taken (breakfast, lunch and dinner) were also well presented and produced to a high standard using quality products. Overall, we enjoyed a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable stay and will definitely return.
