Room and en-suite was lovely and clean. Establishment is well located for Norfolk area sight seeing. The staff were friendly and the price affordable. Twin room was spacious and comfortable. However the rooms could do with a fan on a hot summer evening. On site overnight parking close to rooms. Restaurant food was fantastic and portions quite big - real value for menu. Breakfast was a choice of Full English or pastries - again can’t fault the quality and portions.
Nothing not to like about the property. Was treated by friendly and helpful staff and we had a lovely stay there.

Had a wonderful two night stay at the Marsham Arms. The room was spacious and warm. The bathroom had both a bath and shower with plenty of hot water. Whilst this trip round we didn't need a fridge, it was pleasant to see a fridge in the room. Good tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The breakfast set up was good. Plenty of choice and freshly cooked food. Only minor grumble was standard off the shelf sliced bread. Would have preferred locally produced bread. We had a meal whilst we stayed there. Our son and granddaughter live in Norwich. Food was good. Our daughter in law loved the burger that she had. Said it was one of the best she had eaten. We would stay there again whilst property hunting in the area.It was good that they are dog friendly at Marsham Arms. It's possible that we will be back early in the new year. I wasn't too well whilst staying there (nothing to do with the hotel, I hasten to add) and would have liked to try the Santa Paws ale.
Only the type of bread for toast at breakfast. Would have preferred locally made, not commercial sliced. So nothing much really.

We stayed here during a cycling trip along Bure Valley Railway and Marriott's Way. It was ideally situation (just a short deviation). The hosts were extremely welcoming and accommodating, locking all 4 bikes in a large shed overnight. The rooms and ensuites were spacious, clean and had everything needed. The evening meals and breakfast were really tasty and beautifully presented, with plenty of choice and vegetarian options. We all really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.
Everything was great.

the bed was amazingly comfortable and waking to an amazing breakfast. The bar and outside areas looked amazing and relaxing environment. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful..Just a shame we never got to enjoy the bar or garden because a long journey and a comfy bed and we slept all night. It was a good sized room and plenty of facilities.
The shower was a little underpowered and had to turn temperature right down to get power. And the water pump is a little noisy.

Breakfast was great, nice quiet septate room for breakfast with helpful staff. Breakfast is pre-ordered the day before but cooked fresh shortly after you arrive to the dining room. Room was cozy but had everything you need for a short stay.
With the room being on smaller size it got quite warm, we opened both the windows but didn't make a great difference. As mentioned in other reviews the property does sit on quite a fast main road so there is quite a bit of traffic noise, we didn't find it much of an issue even with the windows open, there were also ear plugs provided.

Good sized, well-equipped rooms. Very nice to have a bath rather than just a shower. Breakfast was excellent and the food in the restaurant was of a high standard. The pub/restaurant was nicely laid out with different areas and the garden was lovely. Good position in that it was only a few minutes to the the park and ride into Norwich and about 35 minutes from the coast.
We did hear staff going up to the room in the roof above our bedroom, but it was not before 7.

Breakfast was good, but in my opinion as travelling for work like allot of others I saw in the accommodation earlier breakfasts would be better as 7.30 is too late for most and even though I was only traveling a short distance from the accommodation I was still not getting to my meeting on time due to late breakfasts
The bed wasn't the most comfortable as the mattress seems soft initially but the you sink into a hard base and I woke up with back ache each morning. Also the room felt a little cramped with me being Tall

I've stayed here several times and it is always a good stay. The food in the evening is very good and well priced. breakfast is freshly cooked and of good quality. overall this is a very good place to stay.
This isn't a complaint but the small doubles are small. It does clearly state they are small when you book, If you can afford one of the bigger doubles then they are worth the money. if i was being extra fussy I'd say there could be a bit more choice cereal wise for breakfast.

The staff catered with my need for a low fat diet., and were very accommodating, especially with dinner the night before. Well cooked, delicious breakfast V comfy bed, hot shower. Nice outside eating area/terrace - not warm enough to enjoy it. Btw I Never give 100% rating!
Maybe an easy chair in the bedroom - but not really enough room in this case

As we have stayed before we knew what to expect, dinner was ok but I prefer plain veg not fancy, breakfast was ok to but you have to order the night before not to sure about that.
On the booking website it says the superior room has a fridge, this is not the case, when I asked the staff they told me they have taken all fridges out of rooms due to noise, fair enough. Also rooms could do with black out blinds as early morning light comes through the curtains.
