Beautiful listed property. Step back in time, but all modern conveniences. Wonderful twin bedroom- beds and bedding excellent. Bathroom with bath was large . Tea and coffee facilities with little fridge (shared) on landing for fresh milk and cold water. Great views of countryside from windows. Breakfast in lovely dining room surrounded by antiques. Breakfast was fruit, cereal and toast (not cooked). We liked it. Lovely hostess. Free parking. 20-25 mins to Cromer.

Nothing. (Real nitpick would be bigger teaspoons in the bedroom coffee and tea facility as lost mine in the mug more than once.)

Jenny is an excellent host and her breakfasts were wonderfully fresh and delicious including fresh fruit cups loaded with berries and melon, croissant/toast and a variety of teas, jams, yogurt and granola as well as coffee. The room had a kettle and samples of tea or coffee as well. The home is clean with modern bathrooms and overall very comfortable. If I find myself back in the area, I will book with her again!

What a beautiful location, home and host! My daughter and I were delighted by the reception we were given, and the comfort of our accommodation. Jenny was friendly and thoughtful to our requirements :-) I loved the beautiful home, and set on the outskirts of the gorgeous village of Alysham. The breakfast was superb!! We will be back if Jenny will have us!!

Hosts were very friendly and welcoming,beds very comfortable, hosts were very knowledgeable about where to visit and locations eat. Nice quiet location and close to places we wanted to go to. Thanks to Jenny and Saintjohn for their hospitality.

Feed back it would have been nice to hang all the towels in the bathroom.

Comfortable beds. An excellent breakfast, massive fruit salad and continental style pastries. Jenny was an exceptional hostess and has decorated in a style suiting the house

Some traffic noise from a quiet country lane, mainly due to the exceptionally warm weather and having to have the windows open during the night.

Elegant house, beautiful dining room, superb breakfast (especially the fresh fruit salad), comfy bed, owner welcoming and solicitous (eg providing a sheet so I could ditch the duvet on such a hot night, and fans in the room). Room quiet, with excellent thick curtains to keep out the morning light. Bath and shower excellent (and even a bathrobe). Two lovely little affectionate dogs to fuss over too - perfect!

Loud ticking clock in the room ..... but managed to hide it away in the cupboard!

An absolute delight to stay here. Beautiful home away from home with very friendly, attentive hosts. Sumptuous decor and furnishings in keeping with house's Grade II listed status. Room overlooked the lawn and walled garden. Modern, spacious bathroom. Very quiet location just five minutes from Aylsham and close to multiple historic village pubs and sights. Generous breakfast each morning. Very easy to park on grounds. Was sad to leave!

This was an excellent place in which to stay for a few days. The host was just lovely as well as welcoming and the accommodation was well appointed. Excellent cooked breakfasts were provided on each day. Access and parking was all as I expected it to be.

This is a very old building and I can understand the omission but I did feel that the lack of shower facilities in our room was a shortcoming

You do need a car unless you want to do a fair bit of walking back and forth from Aylsham town, including over muddy fields. However, there is a great local taxi service (Honey Bee taxis).

We loved the location a little hideaway tucked away in a semi rural location ideal for town country and coast

Only that there could have a little more sensor lighting for our evening return when its dark!
