Beautifully located hotel. Staff were fantastic and attentive. We had a wedding approximately 20 minutes away from the hotel however we weren't able to check in early. The front desk kindly stored our bags for us and gave us our room keys. When we returned late at night, we were able to easily access our room and our bags were waiting inside for us. The breakfast the next morning was fantastic. The hotels grounds were beautiful and well kept. The only thing we weren't able to experience was the spa - all the more reason for us to return.

The Location and the staff were very attentive and helpful.

The room was a little dusty. After the room was cleaned on the second night we didn't get new coffee sachets and the coffee pot hadn't been cleaned or changed there was still coffee in it from the previous night I just felt the room had been skimmed over for example duvet just pulled over not what I expect from a 4 star boutique Hotel. Breakfast was excellent you can tell they use all local produce which is amazing.

Food was amazing. Staff were amazing (other than kitchen staff member having an argument outside the front of the hotel as we arrived). Room was gorgeous - bed was so scrumptiously comfortable. Service was fabulous. Stunning hotel. Just really gutted about the two negative views incidents as it would have been perfect.

The 'Henry' hoover was out in the corridor outside our room ALL weekend which was rather poor. The lead wasn't even wrapped around it, it was just in a messy bundle. A staff member from the kitchen was having a personal blazing row with their partner outside the front door of the hotel, which also happened to be outside our room window! It was so loud and so embarrassing. We couldn't chill in our room because it was all we could hear for over half an hour.

This was a return visit to this delightful property. It did not disappoint. The rooms are good size and the beds very comfortable. Had a meal both nights in the restaurant. Excellent food. One of the highlights. Staff are very helpful and efficient. Nothing was too much of a problem. They are a real asset of the hotel.

the staff as previously mentioned were excellent even as it seemed they were constantly on the move. I do hope this does not impact their enjoyment of their job and the great service they deliver.

Room was a good size with a very comfortable bed (with feather pillows!) and an excellent shower. Toilet cubicle was a little cosy but balcony was great. Parking was easy and the restaurant was wonderful; friendly staff and good service of beautiful food; really enjoyed our stay.

Nothing really apart from the cosy toilet ‘room’ where knees were touching door! That said, not sure that they could have provided such a service in any other way and the staff were incredibly helpful on any query.

Such a lovely place to stay. This was our wedding venue and we retuned for or 1 year anniversary.

Little complication with payment on check out as i had already pre paid via booking.com but then was asked to pay for room again. I had to provide a confirmation email and i showed my bank acoount to prove i had already paid. Maybe a bit better communication better hotel and booking.com would prevent this from happening.

Breakfast was perfect, excellent buffet choice and boiled eggs cooked to perfection. Other half had eggs benedict and said it was delicious. Dinner was beautiful and the restaurant is gorgeous just like the whole hotel. All the staff were super helpful and friendly and looked liked they loved their job and the hotel.

We stayed in Hawthorn which we booked for the balcony (which was gorgeous) However the toilet in this room is very compact. My husband who is just over 6 ft found he could barely close the toilet door. So if you are tall might be wise to book a different room. The rest of the room was beautiful

Beautiful property in a quiet location with large outdoor green space, which was perfect for our two dogs. Juniper Room, which is dog friendly, was comfortable, especially the bed. It did get a little stuffy on a hot day as the bedroom is on second floor and there’s no air con or fan. Breakfast was decent and staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Not much to dislike. We stayed one night, ate at the restaurant, which had really good dishes too.

We love the Norfolk Mead. We have been before and will go again. It’s in a lovely location. We were fortunate to have good weather and could sit on the terrace and have a drink. This hotel will be even better when the Spa facility upgrade is finished. Staff are helpful and friendly. We had dinner and breakfast and both were fabulous. So a great stay again. Thank you Norfolk Mead for a lovely relaxing afternoon, evening and morning.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. All the staff were helpful and chatty and the food, both breakfast and evening meal were excellent with a great choice of options. I have some specific dietary requirements and it was so refreshing to know that the chef would adapt dishes for me, where possible, without any issues. Our room was comfortable as was the lovely king sized bed.
