Great location , hotel clean , food great !

Staff receptionist , not well trained , when we arrived, she was standing outside smoking on her phone , we waiting inside , when we approached her when she decided to appear , she said room is not ready . Left for outside smoke break again , she returned after 15 minutes . Decided to assist another guest , before us . Eventually we got served . She is not a good ambassador for your 4 star Hotel . I suggest training ! Please 🙏Customer service 101 !

The location was good. The food was lovely. Most of the staff were great with the exception of 1 who also worked behind reception. I asked him to help with my suitcase going down the stairs on checking out. His initial response was he didn't start work until 9.30. It was only when I explained my husband was terminally ill with prostate cancer that he agreed to help. It's not a subject matter that we normally share with people we don't know, but felt forced to explain why I needed the help. On checking in, the Italian gentleman didn't even ask if we needed help, he just took our suitcase to our room

The long wait at the bar. Having to negotiate steep steps to the outside terrace area with drinks in hand. The staff were doing their best to serve customers but it was clear they were very understaffed

The bed was so comfortable. The view amazing, the swans putting on a show all day every day. The food was outstanding . We had an evening meal and breakfast. I actually had a two course breakfast and didn't need to eat for the rest of the day ! The staff especially Amy were so friendly. The seats in the bar area so comfortable. I would love to stay again - March was perfect as it wasn't very busy.

Everything was great - I can't think of anything I didn't like. Possibly the car park could have been tarmac - but other than that the stay was wonderful. Possibly the shower more powerful - we were in Wroxham Suite.

All staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. The service was excellent. The food and service in the restaurant was very good. The only issue was the lighting in the restaurant and bar area in the evening was so dim it was almost impossible to read the menu. The choice available for breakfast was excellent and the waiting staff were very quick to seat you and take your order for all meals. The hotels location is lovely, sitting right beside the river. The facilities, parking and housekeeping were all excellent.

The size of the room was very disappointing. We stayed in the Salhouse Suite. For a suite it was extremely small, especially the bathroom. Not quite what we had expected when booking a suite. However, the outside balcony overlooking the river was a lovely addition.

Balcony guest rooms have views over Wroxham’s river, superb. While not spacious they are a fair size by British standards. We had a shower ensuite which was compact but clean and near new. Housekeeping mostly ok. Stairs to the guestrooms are quite steep, no lift nor any assistance with luggage. Free breakfast was very good. Most of the staff were pleasant and efficient, although some staff at reception were not. Bruna, Lisa and Enrico deserve good mention.

Beautiful rooms, excellent breakfast, lovely staff and great view from the balcony, worth paying more for that. We love this hotel!

I booked a family room for myself and my two children, which was supposed to have a double and single bed. The single bed was a pull out chair bed that was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor, it also had big gaps between the chair cushion sections which pulled out to form the mattress. The staff were very understanding though and replaced the bed with a proper camp bed which was much better, if a little old and springy. Maybe the camp beds need to be refreshed! Can’t fault the service at all though.

Everything. The room was very clean and comfortable,Great view from the balcony. The staff were amazing so friendly and accommodating. Very dog friendly our pooch was allowed everywhere in the hotel. The hotel provided a dog bed, towels and food bowls, plus a bottle of mineral water and treats which were replaced when finished. The selection of tea/coffee in the room was great. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of it. We only ate in the evening once but the food we had was delicious and huge portions making it very good value for money. Would definitely stay here again. It's a great location for touring Norfolk.

Fantastic peaceful location on the waterfront. Great for drinks/lunch outside even on a sunny day in March liked separate smoking area. Hire a boat next door your straight on the broads. Comfortable clean room felt new. Loved the atmosphere with candles around the hotel. Great bar with fab tunes again for a great atmosphere and cosy modern fire. Smart restaurant food lovely and very friendly helpful staff.

Our view was off shops would recommend a room with a balcony beautiful!

The exterior of this hotel isn’t great - so I assumed the inside would be drab as well. Pleasantly surprised though - it was lovely. Room was spacious / clean and felt luxurious. Communal areas were nicely decorated and the restaurant/ bar was very nice - lovely atmosphere. Great breakfast. Would stay here again.

Exterior looked like a hotel from the 1970’s!

It was in the perfect location for us, had onsite parking, bedrooms were perfectly sized for an overnight stay. Large bathroom with bath and shower. Comfy beds and nicely decorated. All complimentary items were quality and dogs were allowed in all areas of the property. We even got some scrambled egg for our dog at breakfast. Room was clean and smelt fresh, included treats and bed for dog on arrival. Our dog is very picky with food but she absolutely loved it and ate the whole bowl! No dog smell anywhere in the hotel. Such fab, friendly staff too!

My pillow was a little soft for my preference but the bed itself was very comfortable.
