Great location , hotel clean , food great !

Staff receptionist , not well trained , when we arrived, she was standing outside smoking on her phone , we waiting inside , when we approached her when she decided to appear , she said room is not ready . Left for outside smoke break again , she returned after 15 minutes . Decided to assist another guest , before us . Eventually we got served . She is not a good ambassador for your 4 star Hotel . I suggest training ! Please 🙏Customer service 101 !

Breakfast was very good. Dining room was very nice and the location right on the river was very good. Staff were lovely.

I was expecting a walk in shower as per the photos but it was in the bath which was awkward, the bathroom was very small. There was no wardrobe just a rack. The price of the room was £273 per night which was expensive in light of the comments. Also I had to pay upfront with no cancellation allowable. As it turns out there was another room of the same status available and two days before we left it was being offered at £170 less for the same 3 nights. I didn't check after that, but maybe even cheaper.

Breakfast was superb, good choice from buffet and fresh well prepared hot selection. Room was clean and comfortable, bed was comfortable. Dining in the restaurant was good, if any criticism it is the lack of vegetarian options. All of the hotel staff were friendly, helpful and polite.

Overall there were no downsides to the stay. If there is to be any criticism (and this is my personal feeling of a 70 year old male staying with my wife), on arrival we walked into the hotel reception area and were greeted with the view of a large lady with her breasts out feeding here baby, call me old fashioned but I found this embarrassing and uncomfortable surely a more appropriate area could be found.

Lovely character hotel in a brilliant setting for the Broads. All the staff we met couldn’t be more helpful, the restaurant & bar staff in particular. We didn’t see or speak to any of the reception staff during the 4 nights we stayed there. Enrico checked us in & out, even though he was exceptionally busy in the restaurant. He is a great asset for the hotel as were all the restaurant staff and Lisa who served at breakfast. We stayed in a balcony room overlooking the river which was lovely. They are not big rooms, but are spotless, comfortable and well appointed with lovely touches such as bottled water and pillow spray. The food in the hotel is excellent, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner over the 4 days and everything we had was very good. The breakfasts were really good and Alan who was one of the Chefs catered to my specific requests, which you wouldn’t get in many hotels. Our stay there was just great & we will definitely return.

We couldn’t think of any real negatives staying in the Wroxham Hotel, if we were pushed, my only comment would be that the wine menu was a little pricey.

An ideal and breathtaking location; impeccably clean and elegantly decorated; the rooms are cozy and equipped with all necessary amenities. The staff are very accommodating, efficient, and friendly. The breakfast was fresh and tasty - plenty of choice. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere (even during peak times). It was so enjoyable that we decided to extend our stay for an additional night! We look forward to returning.

Nothing. The hotel was exceptional. My only grievance occurred on the second night when guests in a room along our corridor spent approximately half an hour between 0330 and 0400 hours, slamming doors and speaking loudly, which disrupted our sleep. We later discovered that they had to leave due to a family emergency. They could have shown more consideration for the other guests. Nevertheless, the staff did apologise for this in the morning. Otherwise, no complaints at all.

The location of the hotel was great for exploring the area. It is next to the Broads and there are plenty of boats to hire. The hotel was very modern with a lovely outside area. The room was small but had everything we needed for a one night stay. A fan was also provided in the hot weather. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety of food.

Drinks at the bar were very expensive. The heat in the room was particularly oppressive due to a heatwave. We appreciated the fan that was provided but unfortunately it did little to cool us down which resulted in a poor nights sleep. Maybe a small aircon unit could be placed in the rooms upstairs.

We use the hotel very often for drinks and food, but this is the first time we have stayed. When did the owner was absolutely lovely and so will all the stuff. We took our dog and the hotel is super dog friendly. They even provided bed bowls and extra towels for the dog. The room was immaculately clean. We were very happy with our stay

There are only two negatives about the stay firstly the price variation from Booking.com to what they charged as they added a £17 charge for the dog which I get, but we were bad there as we didn't check in till around 9 pm and we needed to leave early. Also the continental breakfast was good but the cooked breakfast was extremely slow incoming and also was a little late for us as we needed to get back to go to work. The actual full English breakfast wasn't the best I've ever had. The bacon was slightly undercooked and the eggs were not great quality. we ate a few little bits but left most of it. The tea and orange juice was good though.

The location was good. The food was lovely. Most of the staff were great with the exception of 1 who also worked behind reception. I asked him to help with my suitcase going down the stairs on checking out. His initial response was he didn't start work until 9.30. It was only when I explained my husband was terminally ill with prostate cancer that he agreed to help. It's not a subject matter that we normally share with people we don't know, but felt forced to explain why I needed the help. On checking in, the Italian gentleman didn't even ask if we needed help, he just took our suitcase to our room

The long wait at the bar. Having to negotiate steep steps to the outside terrace area with drinks in hand. The staff were doing their best to serve customers but it was clear they were very understaffed

The bed was so comfortable. The view amazing, the swans putting on a show all day every day. The food was outstanding . We had an evening meal and breakfast. I actually had a two course breakfast and didn't need to eat for the rest of the day ! The staff especially Amy were so friendly. The seats in the bar area so comfortable. I would love to stay again - March was perfect as it wasn't very busy.

Everything was great - I can't think of anything I didn't like. Possibly the car park could have been tarmac - but other than that the stay was wonderful. Possibly the shower more powerful - we were in Wroxham Suite.

There was a room fan was provided but hotel was too hot making sleeping at night difficult. Service was good mostly. Staff were mostly helpful and friendly. Car park was good but white lines need redoing.

Could not book rooms with balcony as I booked at short notice although family room was ok apart from view but when we arrived some rooms with balcony were empty, Too many cushions everywhere and why only one chair. The room keys were awkward to put in pocket as massive wooden tag was attached to them, why.
