Lovely spacious room and bathroom, good breakfast, and clean well-maintained spa facilities. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Hotel is well situated for visiting Norwich and the rest of Norfolk.

I don’t think guests should have to pay extra to use the spa when already paying a significant amount for accommodation.

This is clearly a very professional and well run hotel. The staff were friendly and efficient. We ate one evening in the restaurant one evening, the food was sensibly priced, clearly locally sourced and well cooked and presented. The service at table was exceptional. The young lady, Holly, who was managing the restaurant that evening was very professional, engaging and efficient. She has excellent communication skills. Our suite, The Aspen suite was spotlessly clean, well appointed and comfortable. Thank you Clare, and Tracy at reception was very helpful. Highly recommend.

There was little to fault at this Hotel.

The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean with lovely toiletries in the bathroom and a good selection of tea and coffees in the room. We ate in both restaurants for dinner, both were delicious and a good choice of food on the menus. Breakfast had options for everyone, cereals, toast, cooked food and you could also choose other items to be cooked off the menu such as eggs Benedict! The bar had a great selection of drinks. The location of the hotel was excellent, close to the park and ride for an easy journey to explore Norwich. The gym had all the cardio machines, great selection of strength equipment and free weights. The swimming pool was clean and wasn’t very busy when we used it! Our room didn’t have air con but we had use of a fan. The room was warm but I cannot complain about a warm weekend in England!! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and due to the building work going on in the conservatory gives us reason to come back when all open!

Nothing!!

Breakfast amazing as always! I tried the order from menu items a bit more this time as opposed to the buffet would usually go for. Rooms comfortable and clean as usual

I wasn't a fan of the extra £30 a night they wanted to charge me if I bought my fiance (this is not even including breakfast) I was told it was a "linen charge" due to the extra stuff I would need in room but I had a double room and would not be needing Extra duvet and shower gel is all in Despenser anyway. I felt that charging this much was a bit greedy and a con. Whilst I could not fault the quality of breakfast the first time I ordered off the menu. The eggs royal. It took best part of half an hour to come out and was a bit cold.

I was in room 20 so ground floor and a patio, not quite warm enough to use it, today is gorgeous so would’ve def sat outside if I was staying today. Everything was spotlessly clean. My room was a lot bigger than I had thought and was spotless. Grounds are immaculately kept. Staff friendly and attentive

The only thing we commented on was that we were given a towel each when entering the pool but no dressing gown which would’ve meant we could’ve walked back to our rooms to shower and relax as we didn’t want to walk through hotel wrapped in a towel. When we left the swimming area we noticed a couple of ladies come in with a bundle of slippers, towel and dressing gown. Not sure if we should’ve been given them or not but it would’ve been nice to have had the option to use them.

Every staff member I encountered couldn't do enough for me. I felt very well looked after. Had arrived around 45mins before check in time after a long journey, no problems - they had a room ready for me and checked me in with zero issues. Unfortunately couldn't make the leisure centre on the day of my stay, but they went the extra mile and allowed me to use it the day after, even after I had checked out. The location is beautiful and I wish I could have stayed longer. Breakfast was great, room was lovely, anyone on the fence just book it, you won't regret it.

The wifi was a little sluggish, and I would have liked to have had a couple more healthier breakfast options, but can't complain - it was still all a good standard for the price and the food at breakfast was still very tasty. Just need a nap and a good gym session after!

Oh dear god.... room was lovely, Leisure facilities were spot on (but closed a little early), breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel. Staff were very helpful

We had very very noisy neighbours. This was the most off putting thing of our stay. We could not have the balcony door open even as they smoked on their balcony and it just kept coming into our room. This and the noise they made at night unfortunately put a shadow on the stay. Everything else was amazing.

We had a lovely few nights here as a break after a hectic Christmas. The room was a good size, clean and had good facilities and thoughtful touches for two people (plugs by the bed, reading lights, comfortable bed). The hotel itself was beautifully decorated, with a great bar and restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool changing room had clearly had a recent refurb which was nice. Location was perfect as we were able to get a bus into Norwich for a fun day out.

The pool was quite overcrowded at times as local people were coming in to use the gym and facilities, and when we arrived there were lots of children using the adult only part of the pool. We had to pay extra for the pool on top of our room so would have expected it to be a relaxing experience. However we did have to queue to use some of the pool facilities at times and it wasn't easy to swim with so many people using the pool.

This hotel worked out great for what we needed which was a hotel with easy parking to visit Norwich and north Norfolk. The staff were cheerful and friendly. The spa was very relaxing and a bit of an added extra for us as we hadn't necessarily been looking for a spa hotel. The breakfast was particularly good with a generous cooked breakfast buffet and other options to order like porridge and kippers. The room was large and the restaurant for dinner was better than we had expected. We enjoyed the choice of local Norfolk wines.

The room was a little too hot for us and it was a shame that the hotel didn't have more original features as we expected a more historic farmhouse atmosphere. I think these days it is expected not to have single-use shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom and to use larger containers to reduce plastic waste

The hotel called us to tell us about the event and the noise that there would be ahead of time, since we were at the function and attending the event it did not concern us but I thought that was very considerate of them to do so. The staff are lovely and engaging with you as you check in and check out, they also didn't really really pressure us to pay extra for the sauna and gym that they offer also like other hotels do; Kindly asking us if we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The room itself was warm and cozy to come back to after the event and the bed was amazing I crashed out as soon as I was in it and felt well rested when we woke up for breakfast.

Nothing.
