Did not include breakfast but had facilities to make your own. Staff very helpful and room warm enough. Free parking was great and had a couple of pubs and a convenience store a few minutes away. Main shopping area within 8 mins walk and on a bus route.

My room was next to the main entrance and closest to the road so could be noisy but after 10pm this settled.

The size of the bathroom and the room. The sink, microwave and the fridge were great additions, did not expect that. Free parking on the day we were leaving was great as it gave us time to meet up with friends after we checked out. Location is fantastic - didn't need the car for the entire stay as the city was 10mins away

There was a bit of a smell in the bathroom for some reason and not enough towels, although supplied when requested. Towels were smaller than usual in the hotels as well. Had to request a hair dryer as well as wasn't in the room. There was no wardrobe to put stuff away so the room was messy throughout the stay

Lovely little single room/unit,toasty warm when I got in little kitchenette- microwave fridge, sink, basic cutlery and plates,very handy! A table and chair, I stayed only for one night but if there for a couple of days- this is very useful. I went to reception for an extra pillow, the only reason I had to have contact. The shower room was great nice big shower,plenty of hot water,spotlessly clean.

The blinds at the window let the security lighting shine through so if you like a dark sleep- wear a mask!

I booked this hotel because of its location (near the friend I was going to Norwich to see) and its price, which was very reasonable, and also because it had parking, which the city centre hotels didn't. We were very late booking in, so they rang to ensure we were still coming, and it was great that check-in was available until 11pm. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite, and the room was enormous, with more facilities than we needed for an overnight stay. I would definitely book this hotel again.

Only one small gripe - in an effort to be helpful, the receptionist had turned the heating up to 35C, so the room was very hot when we arrived. We opened the windows and turned the heating down, and were able to go to bed in a comfortable temperature after about 20 minutes. She did apologise when we mentioned it, and explained that many guests want a high temperature in the room.

Great location with well equipped single room including tv, fridge, microwave, kettle, table, sink, plates and cutlery. Friendly and accommodating staff when it came to small parking extension requested in advance.

Room opened on to car park so some noise with returning guests though very quiet in general. If you like a cool room check heating settings on arrival as these are powered independently of the room key - had been a sunny day so was rather warm on my return in the evening - corrected after propping door open for 15 mins

I was in a ground floor unit right next to the main building. Facilities in the room are great and everything was clean. Plates, bowls and cutlery provided along with a fridge and microwave. Receptionist was extremely polite and welcoming, she provided me with an iron and an extra pillow on request, no extra charge or fuss caused at all. I was also offered a fan as the room can get very warm. The TV worked perfectly with Netflix and other catch up services available to stream from. There is a plug socket next to bed and additional plug sockets in the kitchen area too. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was - the only disturbance was cars parking directly outside my room. I could store my luggage at reception for no extra cost too - it felt secure in the reception area which was always locked when not staffed. The room itself is very compact but perfect if you plan to be out exploring most of the day. An excellent, fair price considering the location and ease to get to the city centre and university - I'll definitely be staying again! I would recommend 3 nights max.

There were no hangers only hooks for clothes - I read the reviews in advance and packed a few hangers myself for my stay. No where to put folded clothes either, so I just stored them in my suitcase opposite the hooks - neither a major issue for me. It can be a bit noisy sometimes with the window open as it's right next to the car park, but this is only when other guests are arriving/leaving. I think having one big dinner plate would be a helpful addition. I would also recommend bringing an eye mask too if you're sensitive to light as the blinds don't block much of the sun out in the morning. All very minor things that should absolutely not put you off from staying here.

The location is ideally placed for walking into the city centre and is close to the Theatre Royal and adjacent to the Plantation Garden. Receptionist Rosa was very efficient and helpful carrying bags to our room. The room was tastefully furnished and included everything one would need for a short stay. There was a plentiful supply of hot water and facilities in the shower room were of a high standard. Access to internet was straightforward. I would certainly stay here again

Free parking is provided for guests without the need to reserve but there are no marked bays for car parking. This is not possible on the car park surface so no fault of the hotel. However, people arriving early were parking without consideration for later arrivals leaving large gaps and later in the evening people were having difficulty finding a space. Perhaps a notice or two requesting drivers to park with consideration would not go amiss

Good location with about a 15 minute walk to the town centre and 20 min walk to cinema. The road next to the hotel was not to noisy. The roo. Was clean and the bed, comfortable. It was really handy to have a kettle microwave and fridge so we saved on going out.

There is not anything springs to mind that I did not like. Some cutlery would have been a bonus as there were 2 sets of plates and only a single knife. Luckily we brought our own. I am sure that if wee needed some that the friendly person on reseption would have gotten some for us.

My second stay at this place. The room had some cleaning issues, but that got resolved. The staff is hit or miss - this second time was not the greatest experience I came across (the reception lady when inquired about the parking was showing me some strange approach- a bit patronising). The bed was clean and comfy, the room was very well insulated and warm, despite a freezing cold night outside - that was a great relief. The general comfort is higher that typical level of simmilar rooms in the area.

The gentleman represening the staff told me that the room wasn't prepared when I arrived, so he kindly allowed me to have a double bed room, instead of the single I booked! Many thanks! He was very polite, and I really liked the size of the room. Made what I payed for the room very well worth it. Everything was very clean too, so props to those cleaners! The surroundings are pleasant, with gardens nearby, a cathedral and a short walk to the city centre.

The only issue I have was that the room windows are exposed to the car park, but that is nit-picking. If you have the curtains open, the more private of customers might feel like closing them to avoid prying eyes. The view, otherwise, is lovely.
