The location was ideal, being in easy walking distance from the station, yet in a quiet street. My single room was of a decent size (not the "broom cupboard" which you often get!), with a roomy ensuite with plenty of space. The staff were friendly and helpful (let me store my luggage to collect later). The hotel was very clean throughout. It's always a bit of a gamble booking online, especially with a limited budget, but I was delighted with the outcome.

IT would have been nice to have a cooked breakfast, but the buffet was extensive and tasty, with meat and cheese and plenty of fruit, etc.

Fabulous stay at the centre hotel. Staff are very kind and helpful. The room and bathroom are both spotless ,towels large and soft. . The bed was comfy and clean .. A very good selection of drinks provided and a kettle. The breakfast is extra but honestly you couldn't make a choice so much to pick from with a basket of fresh fruit and fresh coffee too. The room and the breakfast room both have a view of the river and two minutes walk from the railway station . We loved it so much we are returning shortly. Thank you to Emma and the staff.

Was greeted by a lovely lady who couldn't have been more helpful or jolly, was able to come and go as we pleased. Room was immaculate, bed was very comfortable, had tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room. Was a very quiet hotel, had the option to have breakfast but as we was there for a night out was a little delicate in the morning so declined the offer so can't comment on the food but I'm sure that would have been lovely. The dinning room did look pleasant.. was tight next to the train station and walk to the main strip of bars and clubs and food places was just a short ealk away..will definitely stay there again next year for our annual trip to Norwich. Thank you Central Hotel for an enjoyable experience

No complaints whatsoever

Great riverside location, minutes from the train station. Very warm welcome from staff. Twin room had very comfortable and clean beds. Room small but well laid out. We appreciated the free luggage storage after check out. Would stay again as very convenient and good value.

Only niggle was the very tired shower unit. Shower head clean, but unit itself had seen better days. WiFi patchy, and my devices would not connect as I suspect the broadband was overloaded. I had data so didn't matter too much. Also ring doorbell didn't work on arrival at check in time. It seems to reset or back up around 2.30pm every day. Use the door knocker instead when this happens.

Location was key - just a block from the train station, and along the riverfront. So convenient and a very pretty area. The room was clean and comfortable, had everything I needed and the staff was very warm and friendly, super helpful.

The breakfast had a great variety, but if you're a pastry eater (I am), they are packaged. Cereals, meats, cheeses, fruit, yogurt, bread, milk, several juices - everything else was great and fresh! Also fyi there is no lift. The hotel staff are very willing to help with luggage so I was fine. They do have ground level rooms, so you might want to let them know if you have mobility issues.

I was really impressed with this hotel, it is a three star hotel, the furniture is basic but I had a TV, good wifi connection, a kettle, tea bags, coffee and sugar. I stayed in an ensuite and the shower had good pressure, it was very clean and warm. The staff was friendly and helpful and it was silent, I could have a good rest. The location is perfect, just 7 minutes from the train station.

It is just a suggestion not a critic, perhaps offering alternative and more affordable options for the breakfast (such as egg on toast, jam and coffee or milk with cereals) like a combo for guests who don't have the habit to eat too much in the morning

5 min walk from the railway station, which is really handy, especially if you arrive late at night. The nicest personnel and cleanest rooms I've ever seen in the british hotels of this price category. Comfortable beds and pillows! which is a really rare case even in the most expensive hotels. The "late check out" tuned out to be only up to 12.00 but we were kindly offered to leave our luggage at the reception for as much as we need, which solved our problem immediately.

no hangers for the coats inside the room. Minor detail but would add more to the comfort and pleasant impressions.

The location for the train station is incredible - less than a minute's walk. The hotel was very accommodating - I checked in very late (11:30pm) and they were happy to greet me and then show me to my room. The room was comfy and had everything I needed.

The building is quite old, so you can hear street noises through the windows (I did check that they were shut). So if you're a light sleeper then you may want to bring earplugs. The en-suite also has a air vent that's a bit flappy so that made a bit of noise too (It's worth noting that I stayed on a windy night though).

It was decorated nicely, the beds were very comfortable and it was a relaxing environment. The hotel was nice and quiet. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Ideal location, a very short walk from the station and town centre, with a lovely view of the river.

There was a problem with the WIFI. Not the hotels fault, they had tried their best to get an engineer to fix it. This meant that the TV didn’t work half way through the evening. The hotel receptionist did apologise to us and explain as soon as we arrived.

The breakfast was plentiful and very well presented. The location of the hotel could not have been better for exploring the wonderful city of Norwich. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and friendly and it is a very nice place to stay. I recommend it without reservation. Don't miss the old library wood just up the road!

It would be it would be helpful to have an independent light for the bathroom.
