Room 15; I came for 2 night for workshop at the university,very clean and tidy, went above and beyond my expectations! Well decorated, cozy room, very clean and spacious bathroom, although room was warm enough there was a heater available as well, hot chocolate and cookies was a warm gesture! housekeeping excellent, well located hotel few steps from bus station, multiple grocery shops around the corner and cross street to the center were star bucks and pret cafes there primark shop and Macdonald. Definitely will recommend it to anyone visiting Norwich.

Nothing! Except for the staircase was bit narrow and difficult to left ur luggage through my room was at second floor!, I recommend elderly or someone with knee problem to make sure there room in lower floors.

I liked the decor and furniture in the room, mattress was super comfy, the bathroom facilities and toiletries provided, small touches - Christmas tree decorated in the room, Good quality extras on the tea tray, beautiful building, great central location, staff were very helpful and friendly.

Pillows on the bed were poor quality with no neck support, there was no bar in the main building, very low ceilings and doorways in the room which were a problem for my husband who is over 6 foot, steep staircase up to the room (10) with low ceilings again which should be mentioned on room specifications, car park very small and not exclusive to the hotel.

Beautiful historic building, interiors are sumptuous with luscious furnishings. Exceptionally comfy beds (not too hard). The location cannot be beaten. Breakfast was delicious, hot options are served, which is a real plus these days. Really friendly and welcoming staff. You won’t find anywhere better to stay in Norwich !

Everything! But it is SOOO comfortable - Really appreciate the interior design and the cleaver use of colours beautiful fabrics. Oh and a shout out to all the lovely staff who are so welcoming.

Room was spacious, comfortable bed, well equipped and bathroom was very clean with plenty of towels and toiletries.The hotel is excellently situated for access to the whole city with free parking behind. Excellent plentiful choices for breakfast.

Arriving late afternoon on Sunday meant too late for afternoon tea and the hotel does not offer food any evening. Fortunately there were some good quality restaurants who were open Sunday evenings. No problem on other weekdays, Norwich has innumerable tea rooms, cafes and restaurants offering different cuisines at varying levels of price and quality.

The building is stunning. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom was gorgeous. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. There was a wedding party at the hotel and this caused delays in service to us. Unfortunate but weddings are planned well in advance and extra staff should have been hired so the other dining residents weren’t left waiting….

The mattress was extremely soft. It really needs replacing, when either of us moved the other moved too. I complained and asked for a move but no other rooms were available. Fair enough though the sofa bed was made up so we could get a better nights sleep. We were in room 10 and is up several flights of stairs.

The room was beautiful and extremely comfortable and clean. The bathroom was amazing, bright, clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We asked for some extra things for the room and they were happy to supply them.

We had to ring through to Reception in the evening as we didn't know that there was a main switch in the bedroom which had to be turned on to make the bathroom lights and fan work. They were quick to reply and very apologetic stating that it should be something that is put in the room information.

Staff were extremely helpful and room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. The bathroom facilities were exceptional and we enjoyed our breakfast.

Unfortunately our suite was up a quite difficult flight of stairs which my wife, who is recovering from an operation found difficult to negotiate. Although I knew the suite was upstairs I did not appreciate their difficulty. This was the only drawback as we greatly enjoyed our stay and the room itself was first rate.

Fantastic location, able to walk to all our destinations within 15-20 minutes. So good to just park up and not have to go out in car. Staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. Lovely to sit out in front of hotel to have drinks. Some outside building work on hotel didn't affect stay.

Would have liked a stool to be able to sit in front of mirror to apply make up. Slight cleaning issue in corner of shower. One of the pull down blinds wasn't working but this wasn't an issue as there were double blinds at window.

The hotel has a lovely atmosphere. It is beautifully decorated to the highest standard,The rooms are very comfortable with exceptional bathrooms. The standard of cleanliness is excellent. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. The location is ideal for the city; the restaurants , the cathedrals , the castle and the theatre. We would definitely recommend and certainly return if we visit Norwich again.

A small bar area would have been nice but we knew this was not available when we booked so it’s not a complaint!

A great place to stay. I was surprised how quiet it was at night. Room 10 was amazing…. It was a mini suite even had air con in the bedroom and exceptionally clean. Food and drinks were being serviced on the front lawn, no booking required. The savoury tea was delicious. Breakfast was included in the room price. Plenty of choice from the buffet counter and from the menu.

I honestly could not fault a thing. Considering the whole place was extremely busy with lots of different events this did not impact on our stay or service.
