Everything, the hotel is perfect as is the restaurant! I love the staff as they're friendly and incredibly welcoming, they never fail to amaze with their food especially! Last time I tried the thali but this time I was treated to the amazing pickle platter, their meat free keema (which despite being a meat eater I thoroughly enjoyed, I'd choose it again over meat anyday!) and some of their freshly made dhokla... seriously... the dholka was such a treat too! The mint and the tamarind sauce on that ridiculously delicate and fluffy dholka is something to come here for all by itself! Can't wait to go back!!
Leaving, I would live there if I could. 🤣😂

Everything! I was expecting the room to be disappointing but I couldn't believe the high standard. The complimentary tea, coffee, water by the bed was a nice touch. The fan was a God send in this weather. The window opened fully (usually they are covered over in paint) for fresh air & the blinds moved freely up & down without collapsing to the floor. There was also a clean towel on the bed in case you needed one. The bathroom was surprisingly clean considering it was shared. The close proximity to the bus/coach station & town centre is all within walkable distance. I could go on.....will book again.
Suggestions - (1) May be a mini fridge in the room to keep drinks, etc bought from outside cool.(2) Not sure if 'no lift access' is mentioned on 'Bookings.com'.

Window had a clever little latch to lock it up securely which was important for a fear of heights, room was clean and had a fan which was perfect for the heat. The staff are impeccable and friendly, they really went out of their way to accommodate us and made us feel really welcome. The restaurant.. seriously, the restaurant! If you've never had their food then you seriously need to! None of this typical cultural appropriated curry house, it's all genuine Indian dishes, street food, every bite spectacular! Was introduced to the Pani Puri first, immediately fell in love! The young lady that wasn't even our original server even noticed how much we were enjoying it and brought us out more of the tamarind water which was quickly consumed! The cheesy masala dosa and the authentic thali just pushed it over the edge from love to obsession, honestly the best food I've ever had the honour to experience! P.S. was about to post this review but just had to say how writing it has genuinely made my mouth water, honestly, the food! You won't regret trying it! 🤤❤️😋 P.S.S didn't have a picture of the Pani Puri as we were so excited to eat them we forgot to take a photo 😂🤤
Having to leave the restaurant, genuinely can't get their food of my mind. I'd eat there everyday for the rest of my life if I could. Genuinely the only actual negative for us was a rather loud netflix viewer in an adjacent room but that was nothing to do with the staff or the hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay!

This hotel is amazing. Like our last time got greeted at the door when we rang the bell. Super welcoming and friendly. We had the twin ensuite, the communal area were bright clean and well maintained. Our room was perfect one single 1 double and what looked like a chair sofa bed. Ample room for case clothes and everything else. Sockets, plenty and all reachable, beds clean comfy and sheets pristine white. Slept so well I had to really fight to get out of bed the mattresses were so comfy. Extra pillows were in the wardrobe which were great as me and hubby like to sit up in bed The windows are old fashioned sash windows, someone complained about such windows not opening or staying open, we had no such problem all windows we opened were free working clean and stayed open, the blinds were easy to use and blocked out any light from outside. We do feel as norwich is busy city and hotel on a noisy stretch of road you do need earplugs but it's a city you expect it and these gorgeous windows are part of the buildings charm beaury and history. Our ensuite facilities were clean maintained to a high standard we had a shower it worked perfectly for our needs, we saw that people complained of the communal toilet and shower for those who didn't have ensuite, the facilities were opposite our room and again they were clean well maintained and for a busy hotel after the partying weekend of norwich pride were kept reasonably as such we had no issues with any of the properties facilities. We used the hotels WiFi and it was fast for our needs we had a tele kettle and fan all working all clean all well maintained. We came for Norwich pride weekend.
I couldn't fault hotel fully recommend

Very nice staff, rooms have towels and water bottles, it's clean and tidy. Also the restaurant looked super nice (I didn't go there unfortunately, but you also get a discount and it's fully vegetarian). For the price you pay it's totally fine!
Unfortunately the walls are very thin, so I could hear my neighbours talking quite loudly. Also my room was towards the street, which was quite noisy.

Restaurant was very charming that forms part of the hotel. I didn’t realised the bathroom was shared :(. However the staff immediately changed it to ensuite room. That was very nice. I had mobility issues. Solution was welcomed.
In Norwich all hotels only have single towel. You need to ask for the second one. You must pay attention if your room has a bathroom. Filtering hotels may not avoid shared bathrooms. We were lucky there was an available en-suite room

Cheap and cheerful. Staff were lovely and accommodating
Unfortunately the noise was unbearable the night we stayed, a party was going on till 2am with music that shook the hole hotel. The couple in the room next to us were having an argument from around 3am and was on and off till we left around 11am. Not that this is the hotels fault but clearly the rooms have very thin walls as we could hear every word.

The location is great! Very close to the bus station and walking distance from everything. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the room was very clean. I will definitely stay there again.
Not a dislike so to speak just something to keep in mind.. the acoustic is not great so you can here everything from the rooms adjacent to yours.

Central location. Pay and display car park opposite with cheap overnight rate. Clean room with ensuite. Excellent vegetarian/vegan food in restaurant. Tell them you are staying & you get a discount. Friendly staff. Very good value for money.
Had to put the bathroom airfreshener in the wardrobe as too overpowering for us.

Interior of place is bit like a 'rabbit warren' but getting around is made very easy by ample splendid/clear direction signs at every turning. Efficient no fuss dealing with the only member of staff i met on my arrival, quickly explaining use of exterior & bedroom door pass card.
Availability of a simple chair in the bedroom would have been good.
