Friendly staff, comfortable beds, decent location. There is a nightclub underneath which wasn’t obvious at the time of booking and the music goes on til 3am. It was loud but if you’re tired you’d be able to sleep through it. Didn’t ruin our stay but would be a problem for some people.

The kettle was grim and full of limescale with no filter spout so we had to go and buy morning coffee from the Costa machine at Tesco across the road. The booking advert said there was a hair dryer but there wasn’t and we arrived during heavy rain and had no way of drying our hair.

The hotel was in a great location in Norwich, especially for night life! You could come and go whenever you like as we were given a key for the main door. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfy. The room was relatively clean with good facilities; bedside tables, dressing table, wardrobe, extra pillows, towels and a fan. Good tea and coffee making facilities, the biscuits were a lovely touch! If you like people watching😂 request Room Number 6!

There was no full length mirror. Also, the water pressure wasn’t great in the shower.

With easy access to Norwich railway station and a host of other tourist attractions, Hotel Belmonte was a great choice. I was visiting Norwich for the very first time with my friend and the hotel provided for a wonderful way to explore the city, especially it's nightlife over the weekends. The room was abundantly spacious and provided for a comfortable bed with a work table and storage space with a clean and well maintained washroom. The friendly staff added to the warm vibe. Since the road is filled with pubs and nightclubs, it can get a little noisy on weekends. However, that wasn't really a concern for us as it only added to the energetic vibe of the place!

There was a strange odor as we would climb the staircase to our room. That being said, it didn't really bother us once we were in our room and had closed the door, so didn't bring this to the notice of anybody.

Great location just a short walk from the railway station and close to the local bars. The twin room was large with very comfortable beds, the ensuite had a good sized shower cubicle with a good electric shower. Perfect for a short stay and I would certainly use again.

The accommodation is over a nightclub but it's not open during the week so wasn't an issue for me but it's also across the road from a local Tesco which had a very noisy delivery at 6.00am.

If you need a crash pad for the night, the Belmonte hits the spot. Clean and perfectly located for the train station and the city...

Great location. 5 mins walk from station and 5 mins from city centre. Frequent buses available to all parts of the city and beyond. Very friendly welcome on arrival by Tony, who explained that, as the hotel was next to a night club, there would be some noise. (which I was aware of as the street is the nightclub area of the city). Room a good size with generous supply of tea/coffee/biscuits. Comfortable good sized bed. Slept like a log, waking only briefly at 3am when the nightclubbers went home. Superb value for money.

For me, this hotel was absolutely perfect. The stairs to access the rooms may cause some a problem if you have heavy luggage. Also light sleepers may be disturbed by the noise from the nightclub. But for me...it was just great.

The room was spotless. There was a kettle with tea, coffee and biscuits, etc. The owner left a note on the door for us, and everything went perfectly. This is not a posh place, nor does it pretend to be. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the price was right.

I wasn't crazy about the neighborhood, but so what? We were safe and close to the train and our concert location.

Everything was all good for the price. The heater helped to keep the room warm, I liked having a tea in the evening and in the morning. I liked the lamps in the room it made it more cozy. Staying on a Thursday evening it was almost completely silent while sleeping.

Couldn't get any internet. Only for Mojo's and it was very weak, so I used data and a hotspot instead.

Booking reference : 3895 4239 - - - didn't got any E mail from taxi service provider - - - tried to get in touch for help from Hotel caretaker, couldn't get since he is rerely visible. Booking. Com please provide me the taxi company phone number & confirmation e mail.

night club is next door, food places basically 20 footsteps away, and shops! right in town also.

it got very cold in my room late at night so i had to turn the heating up for abit.. besides that it was exactly what i needed.. was also the cheapest place i could find.. if you need a cheap room that is the place
