Wow! Hard to know where to start as the stay at the Folly studio B&B, was perfection from beginning to end. You’ll get to meet the wonderful Ann, the owner, who lives on-site and so it starts... Ann is a wealth of, not only local information about Bungay and surrounds, but of interesting facts per se! She’s had a fascinating life to-date and is so generous in treating one like a friend, rather than just another paying guest. All the little touches have to be experienced, as do the delicious breakfasts. Every day was something different over our 3 day stay, even down to the fruit offered! The view, at the single level living, across the Waveney Valley is breathtaking at all times of day but, of course, sunrise and sunset are particularly magical! The bed is extremely comfortable and super king size! Lastly The Folly is situated a 15-20 minute walk to town. We were visiting good friends in the area, but Ann also, really made our visit extra special. Thank you so much for everything!

Breakfast is exceptional. Hand prepared trays of fruit that are different each morning, followed by a small but perfectly cooked breakfast. Cereals, tea, toast, fruit juice, yogurt, bread all included and beautifully presented in a fascinating selection of glass and ceramics. The house is a treasure trove of art and items collected from many countries that Anne has travelled to. It was an education to learn of the origins of just a small selection of items.

A wonderful place to stay, was so welcoming and comfortable. Ann the owner is a remarkable lady, she was so lovely. Makes a lot of effort at breakfast which was very much appreciated by my partner and I. She has lived a very interesting life and her home is full of interesting things. We were both fascinated by the stories she has shared. Her knowledge of the area was very useful and extremely helpful. Anyone who choose to stay here will have a fantastic time and will feel very welcomed. Thank you so much Ann for a very marvellous long weekend stay at your wonderful home. Ann was very welcoming and is an interesting lady to talk to. The bed was comfortable and cosy, and breakfast was delicious and varied. The garden and outlook are lovely, although the January weather meant we couldn't see it at its summer best! The peaceful setting was just what we needed to relax overnight.

The room is small, though the bed is extra large, but there's a small sitting room guests can also use. The private bathroom isn't en-suite, but it was fine for us.

We had a very good stay at Folly Studio. The host was very welcoming and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the facilities were very suitable for us. The location was ideal for us as we were walking the Angles Way. The house and setting were beautiful, well presented sat in the garden and watched the sunset. Breakfast was wonderful, freshly cooked and beautifully presented, we felt quite spoilt

I loved staying at the studio . The owner Ann could not have been more accommodating . Breakfast was a delight every day nothing was too much trouble. Ann was a delight to chat too and I enjoyed hearing about her life . The studio looks out over a beautiful garden and the views are amazing . The walk into Bungay itself is a nice one and easy to visit the small town .

Everything about our stay at the Folly was lovely. Ann is an amazing host, and had catered to our every need. The room was cosy, comfy and snug, and the breakfast in the morning was just lovely. Would recommend and stay again if in the area. The views from the ridge are breathtaking, and the decor throughout the house individual,stylish and tasteful.

A quirky colourful home from home accommodation. Excellent breakfast with a range of healthy options served in a very English style. Amazing views from a large conservatory looking over a lovely garden and valley ending a the day with a beautiful sunset. Very friendly host who opens home to guests and treats you as family.

We had a beautiful room overlooking the lovely garden. Anne looked after us and made us feel very welcome with beautiful breakfasts each morning. A delightful hostess. The conservatory overlooking the gardens was such a lovely spot to enjoy the tranquility of the area.

The property has a beautiful setting with a stunning outlook. The decor is wonderful, the hosts interior design and sense of colour is uplifting. Anne’s breakfasts are truly the best I have ever had anywhere! The host is generous and attentive, very welcoming and great company.
