The room was vast , it felt very fresh and clean , not cluttered in any way as lots of places have too many soft furnishings . Nothing was too much trouble . The bathroom was big and well designed as well .

There was nothing not to like , my only suggestion would be to have more variety on the breakfast menu , we stayed 3 nights and I dont always want a full English every day . There was plenty to choose from but I was thinking smoked salmon and poached eggs ,or kedgeree, but I'm sure if I had asked steph would have come up with something .

We had a 60th birthday party to attend in a nearby village and chose the Grove Barn B and B for an overnight stay. When we arrived we were greeted by the lovely Steph who showed us to our room. We stayed in the Garden Room. The room was light and spacious and very clean. The hospitality tray was well stocked, and the availability of fresh milk was a nice touch. The bathroom was also very clean with a large shower. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept very well. Everything had a fresh feel to it. For breakfast there was a good choice of options, I opted for a full English which was very nice. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend and return if the need arose.

Everything, from the initial greeting by the owner to the final safe travel wishes as we left. Steph certainly puts her heart and soul into making you feel like you’re just visiting friends, the location is as it says , rural, so don’t expect facilities of any sort without some sort of travel. The accommodation provides everything you would require for what is being provided, bed and breakfast, speaking of which a full selection of breakfast foods is available on the request sheet left out each night, served at the time of your choosing in the peaceful dining area. The property is only a few miles from Harleston so if you’re looking for refreshment it’s not too far, however you are travelling on very narrow unlit country roads. If all the rooms (3) are of the same standard as ours then you will not be disappointed and the fact that fresh milk is available in a convenient fridge external to the rooms makes the fresh tea /coffee available so much better.

Fantastic three nights spent here. Fab room, absolutely spotless, breakfast the best I have had for a long time and very hot (I do like my food hot). Everything you need is here. Nothing is too much trouble for Steph., the owner. You would have to go a long way to find someone as caring, friendly and kind as she is. I had a nasty fall on the last day and Steph even took the time to message me to check I had got home ok, having already offered me a pillow and paracetamol. Highly recommend. We will definitely go back! Thank you so much Steph x

Nothing. It was a perfect choice

Extremely comfortable and well decorated with a homely feel. A quiet and peaceful location. The courtyard was very pretty with its scented flowers made seating outside very enjoyable.

I have no complaints about our stay whatsoever. The hosts were excellent and catered to our every need.

Last minute booking as room booked elsewhere unavailable, so ended up 45 minutes away from our planned location but so glad we did, 2 lovely nights, great country location about half a mile from main road, lovely host, superb breakfast, fresh milk for coffee and some chocolates in the room on arrival.

Nothing could have been better, we are happy to recommend to family and friends.

The room and facilities were excellent, very clean with everything you could need. The owners were so friendly and helpful - we were travelling to the area for the first time and they really helped in giving a good indication and advice about the area as a whole - The fleece Inn in Bungay served excellent meal!

Lovely entrance. Wellfurnished and comfortable firm mattresses. Spotlessly clean. Lots of thoughtful touches. Friendly host. Beautiful Outlook. Double walk in shower. Super breakfast choice. Lovely hospitality tray and fresh milk.

Only thing for some may be a mile of narrow lanes to reach Grove Barns, we are used to that. Personally I am not a fan of plug in diffusers but it was simple to turn off.

We had a super warm welcome upon arrival and were promptly shown to our rooms, which were spotlessly clean. It was a little warm in our rooms. However, fans were provided, so they quickly cooled down, and we had a silent, pleasant nights sleep. My husband and I are vegan, and our host was more than accommodating when it came to breakfast, which was a very pleasant surprise. We were attending a wedding in the area and would highly recommend the Grove Barns for a stay. Thank you for a lovely stay ❤️

The accommodation was of a very high standard and we. were most impressed with our host Stephanie. She was most obliging and we both enjoyed our morning chat at breakfast.
