I had contacted the hosts beforehand to let them know I had a scent sensitivity to airfreshners, plugins, potpourri, wooden oil scented sticks and strong smelling cleaning products for example.They kindly didn't use any of the above mentioned which was most appreciated. We loved the court yard you had to go through to enter the main building, it has a lovely outdoor seating area and a fantastic view of the fields. We also loved our room with views over the fields from the window. It was very clean along with the bathroom. The bed was a little too hard for my Husband and I but no bed can compare to your own especially when it's a memory foam one. We also loved the fact it had a little kitchen area with a mini fridge, microwave, cutlery, plates, bowls etc, everything you needed. The continental breakfast was fantastic, the best we have had. Bread, jams, marmalade, marmite, butter, margarine, mini hard cheddar cheese and mini tubs of Philly cheese, ham, mixed seedless grapes, yogurts, a choice of three cereals, croissants, pain aux chocolate, tea, coffee, sugar and a bottle of milk and pure orange juice.........wow what a choice! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Just a few suggestions, we used the microwave but the plates were to hot to pick up so we had to use one of the (clean) bath towels like an oven glove as I had burnt my fingers trying to carry the plate to the table. There were no table mats on the glass table top so we put the plate on top of the other bath towel folded in half to protect the glass. I think it would be most useful to have an oven glove or tea towel for example to use when heating food in the microwave and table mats and cup mats to place hot items on the glass table top.

We love the fridge and microwave in the room which was stocked with essentials and ingredients for a continental breakfast. Toaster, bread and cereals were welcome. If anything was used it was refilled each morning. Table & chairs to eat at was very useful. The courtyard outside covered with grapevines was so peaceful and let life’s worries drift away. Our dog was made very welcome and he really enjoyed just sniffing the plants and shrubs. We both have health issues and the lack of stairs was a bonus. The bed was adequate but we are spoilt with our adjustable bed at home. We both slept well but for us it was a little low. The en-suite was small but adequate for our needs. Although located out of town this lovely property is close enough for major attractions.

The only thing we can say is their is a small step, more more than an inch, into the bathroom which took me a while to get used to.

What a lovely place to stay! The landlord went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Being mobility impaired I was warmly welcomed, helped with my luggage, and looked after throughout my whole stay … even though it was only for one brief night. The room was spotless clean, very comfortable, I had my own fridge and a huge amount of amenities (cereals, milk, juice, tea, and coffee facility, bread, cheese, snacks, cakes, cookies etc.) to make my own breakfast and enjoy a beautiful view out the window in my room. If I ever come back to the area of Norwich again, I will definitely stay at this place.

Stayed with our dogs, just before Christmas, for a couple of days. Lovely country location, with an excellent pub, but spent serving fine food, and immediately opposite the digs. We arrived during the middle of a private Christmas party, but we're still given a fine, warm, and friendly greeting. A smashing room, and a well equipped, with a small fridge, stocked with everything you could need for a great continental breakfast. Family run, and by an extremely professional, and friendly, welcoming couple. This made a fabulous start to our Christmas, and we will definitely be using it again. Close to the Broads, Norwich, and not far from Yarmouth, a great country break. Barry and Brenda. Excellent value for money.

A bit difficult to get into the drive to park, but having said that we do have a long wheel base Transit, which is fairly awkward to squeeze in anywhere!!

This accommodation is run by very welcoming and relaxed owners. Our room was comfortable and clean. The addition of a fridge and toaster as well as a kettle was very welcome. Continental breakfast was left in the fridge to enjoy at our leisure, there was also a microwave onsite. We had a double and single bed in our room but unfortunately with my disabilities the double bed would have been a possible problem so I slept in the single was was great. The property was on the edge of a village with a pub across the road. The courtyard with a grape vine was just what was needed on hot evenings. The room looked out over open field where even the local deer population came to say hello. This property is certainly worth a repeat visit as we and our dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay

A lovely little find just outside of Norwich so very quiet, lovely rooms, well furnished with extras like a fridge and a great selection of food and drinks for your breakfast, there is also a great pub literally next door for drinks and evening meals. We used this as a base for our bike packing trip as the owner let me leave the car which was a massive bonus and a weight of our minds, definitely recommend the visit

I can't recommend Wayside highly enough. Moira and Pete were such wonderful hosts. At no point did I even feel like a guest... I felt like a friend. Room: The room was spotless, the shower perfect. Breakfast was lovely and set up in our own fridge. Ham, cheese, bread, toaster, coffee, tea, cereals, juice, grapes. Absolutely lovely. The view from the room was gorgeous. Yellow fields as far as the eye could see. Other: They have the sweetest little dog, Archie, who made my daughter's day (ok my day as well!). The outside feels like you're in the Mediterranean. Beautiful set up. The house is full of amazing art, a must stay for a creative. Had the pleasure to sit and chat to Moira during the evening and it was so comfortable and easy going. My daughter played for ages with their granddaughter too. Really calm atmosphere. Wonderful people. Loved every second and will definitely come back soon. Thank you so much guys. Absolute highlight of our little weekend away.

I can't fault anything.

Continental breakfast was great. The location was ideal as meeting up with other family members in Wroxham and visiting Sea Palling. There is also a great pub called The Brick kilns, across from the B & B were you can get excellent food.

Location can be slightly difficult to find dependant on what end of Honeycombe Road you come from.

The breakfast was served in the room however it was a well balanced choice including ham and cheese, good idea as you were not tied to a specific time to eat. I don't normally eat breakfast but as it's a holiday and you have more time, why not

Nothing, our room looked out over fields, with wildlife in abundance, Pheasant watching became my morning duty. The Pub was across the road, Norfolk portions are bigger than around our home area, so again a bonus, close to but not on top of The Broads, Norwich easy access to a number of Park & Ride sites, easy to use and delivered into the center of Norwich.

The accommodation was a self-contained room accessible from the lobby of the property. Arrival was easy, there was off road parking. The location, on the edge of a village is very peaceful and we had a lovely view across a field, it was also very close to where we wanted to stay. The room is small, but very well thought out, with a small en-suite bathroom, room for luggage and hanging clothes and kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave, and a small table with two chairs. A generous selection of breakfast food was left in the room, so that we could make our own breakfast at a time to suite us.

It was all good.
