The room was very comfortable with everything you needed; the hosts provided cereals, bread, croissants plus tea/coffee for breakfast. The location was quiet and peaceful with a quaint hotel just a short walk away and. Small post office/ corner shop a little further up the road. Neil and Tanya are lovely, friendly & helpful hosts, with whom I felt totally relaxed from our first meeting. Highly recommend.

I couldn’t find anything to fault or not like! Having organised my stay from abroad, I thought the bus transport would be suitable however it wasn’t. I would suggest if visiting this beautiful place that you have your own transport.

Had such an amazing time at ivy cottage, Tanya was so accommodating allowing me to check in later than expected and leaving breakfast goodies which weren’t included in the price. The cabin was so cute and cozy such a relaxing space for a weekend away. Honestly such a nice place to stay and would recommend. It’s definitely a bit more outside city but only a 30 minute max drive into the city.

The hosts, Neil, Tanya and Berney, the exuberant spaniel who welcomed us, too, are hugely welcoming and friendly and helpful - you simply have to ask (any time). Neil gave us important tips about the ferry and local restaurants. The B&B is a very short trip from the Reedham ferry, so you are across the Yare quickly and quaintly. The room is a shed in the garden, so you have your privacy and independence, but can use the patio (and Tanya and Neil were almost overly respectful of our privacy). Breakfast was a sumptuous affair, with various delicious bakery items, fruit salad, yoghurt, toast and cereals. The bathroom had everything in it that you'd need and a shower that, while not the most powerful, was soothing and refreshing.

The shed is quite low and at 193cm I could not stand upright in any part of it, especially not in the shower. My fault for being tall, I know, but other tall people might want to know. Perhaps I had not read the info properly, but we were a bit surprised that breakfast was a DIY affair. As I said, the food itself was great and varied, but we had to play around with what appliance to plug in where, where to shift everything to to be able to do that, balance plates on laps and so on. Not a huge deal, but a bit of a hassle and not quite the easy comfort we were looking for. Equally getting water was not simple as the only tap in the bathroom was low. The bed, which others have praised, was way too soft for us, sadly.

Lovely annexe with comfy bed, decent shower, good size tele and everything you could need for a great home from home feel. The best thing though are the hosts! Tanya & Neil are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Thanks both of you for making a stay away for work that bit more bearable 😊. Highly recommended and will definitely be staying again if back in the area. Tom.

Perfect stay in an adorable little cabin 🙂. Tanya & Neil (and Alan & Barney of course) we’re absolutely excellent hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during my stay as a solo traveller for work. The cabin has everything you need - including much loved pastries in the morning! The bed I found was super comfortable and the entire place was so welcoming and had all amenities. 20 mins to a beautiful beach! Thanks so much Laura x

Amazing little garden room Tanya was a lovely host although it was not supposedly bed and breakfast Tanya kindly left milk coffee, tea cereals et cetera had a wonderful tonight. Stay value for money excellent.

Only one little thing I would add is a king-size duvet on the double bed so not to create squabbles on a cold nightl lol ps excellent heater in the room

Quiet location in the countryside and perfect for a good night's sleep. Neil was very welcoming and the room had everything I needed. Very clean and well laid out.

There was nothing I didn't like. If there'd been anything I needed, I'm sure Neil and Tanya would have sorted it as nothing was too much trouble for them

From start to finish we was made to feel so welcome, location was fab for us and where we needed to be. The room was so cosy and bed was comfy. All the little touches were so sweet from Tanya. I would highly recommend and will more than likely be back again.

What a lovely find. Tanya is so welcoming, communicative and generous. She provided a wonderful breakfast and was so flexible with checkin. The space is beautiful! Better than most hotel rooms, so nice decorated and peaceful. Could not recommend enough, thank you Tanya we will be back!

The hosts Tanya and Neil were exceptional and very friendly. Neil went out of his way to take us to our wedding venue. Always on hand to make sure you had everything we needed. A well stocked breakfast larder and fridge. There was everything you needed facilities wise and more. Peaceful, quiet and restful.
