Very warm welcome on arrival, room lovely with balcony overlooking the broads, which was just what we wanted! Found all staff were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping helped with issues when needed, altogether a fabulous stay! We will be back for definite!!!! Thank you.

If I have to mention anything it is at breakfast, please have really cold juices and milk out, room temperature is not a pleasant thing. Shower hose could do to be a bit longer as I had to bend down to wash hair. Light needed over desk mirror, for make up etc, too dark to do makeup. Other than that....fantastic

We had a great stay, room was very good, clean and had a balcony, added bonus we wasn't expecting. Breakfast was buffet style, eat as much as you like. Good range of hot cooked food as well as cereal, fruit, crossiants with fruit juices, tea and coffee. Staff was fabulous, we did have a evening meal too which was very nice indeed and very well priced. Lots of other people had the carvery which also looked delicious. Great range of meals on the menu. Would we come back - YES

Noise until 2am on Saturday night from establishment up the road that was booming its music so loud, this would effect any future bookings to avoid Saturdays so that we could sleep. Not anything Wherry Hotel can do about this we know.

The room was adequate for my stay and had a superb view. The breakfast exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect for my stay. Would be a great base for visiting the area.

The only thing about the room I could fault was there was quite a build up of dust behind the bathroom door. One member of staff was not pleasant who took my food order. Made me feel as though I was putting her out. Also she overcharged me when I ordered a desert but as she was so awful I really didn’t want to get into an argument with her (blonde with hair in a tight bun with a tatoo on her left leg) she let the whole team down. It was exceptionally busy as a bank holiday.

Upon arrival, Rachel, the excellent receptionist, greeted us with a welcoming smile and friendly chat and went on to change our room without quibble to accommodate my wifes disability needs. Laura, in the bar, was also very welcoming and made friendly Informative conversation whilst serving us. The young lady serving breakfast on our second day even offered to cook me some fried bread on my next visit another good reason to return here. All the staff, including those whose names I didn't get, went out of their way to help us with a smile. The rooms were exceptionally clean with lovely comfortable beds, thick soft towels, and modern plumbing. The location was excellent, with outside seating overlooking the broads. We'll done to all the staff employed here. If I could I would give you all a bonus! We will return hopefully soon.

The Accommodation/room was excellent, we would deffo stay here again, we enjoyed our first part of stay where we had the balcony & view, the next part of stay we re-booked into the Wherry in the disabled but it didn’t have the balcony or view, it was still nice, but the shower didn’t drain properly & covered the whole bathroom floor with water, so it was always slippery, not good for it being a disabled room, we had to buy a mop to push the water down to the shower, we lived the Hotel in general but would deffo book the balcony/view room on the stay

Wonderful view from the room. Plenty of parking spaces, those had a good view too. Cooked breakfast was good for me. The chap who greeting us was very pleasant and helpful.

Excited shouting whilst having our meal, would of been acceptable if it was customer having a good time but not from a female member of staff. Meal was OK, a bit over cooked, tasted OK but would have been disappointed if we had paid a higher price for it. Partner who didn't want a cooked breakfast was disappointed with the alternative as there was only cereal on offer and not the fruit, yogurt and croissants as promoted on their Facebook page

Staff were so friendly and would go above and beyond. Would remember ours and our dogs name which is a lovely touch that really does make a difference. Location was perfect for us, I had stayed her a few years ago and have visited the restaurant on and off for years. Service has always stayed the same, incredible. Super facilitating to us who travelled with our dog. Parking was great. Accessibility via lift and stairs is always a bonus. Hotel room was clean and tidy. Had a fan in the room which was a big plus, bathroom lovely and clean. Super reasonable for pricing. Would definitely visit again soon.

So we where in a disabled room , my partner can't see too well and the tv is so small and far away so she couldn't see anything, there was an awful drain smell in bathroom, I figure it'll be the trap in the sink , fire alarm went off at midnight twice Friday and not one person came to say false alarm after we got out of bed got dressed twice for nothing with no direction that it was a false alarm, with a disabled partner I feel that things like that should be priority

Just back from a 2 night break at The Wherry We had a lovely time, the room was ideal with a lovely view Our overriding memory will be how friendly all of the staff (without exception) were A good choice of food for the evening meal – at reasonable prices – with the option of ‘Special Deals’ on certain days of the week With our stay we opted to have the breakfast – Wow such choice. Full English (love the sausages), Continental, Cereals etc. The staff are so attentive keeping us topped up with Tea and Coffee As a couple we are reliant on Public Transport, The Wherry is ideally situated, to the two Oulton Broad Railway Stations – both a short walk away. With views over the Broads and access to the waterfront and Nicholas Everitt Park there are some lovely walks to while away the time and explore. Alternatively get yourself a drink and sit in the conservatory and watch the world go by – it is so relaxing If you want to explore further afield Local Buses are also accessible, I would recommend downloading ‘First Bus’ App to maximise your options of bus / bus stops that may not be readily apparent – also get a day ticket as it will be cheaper if making more than 2 journeys We’ll certainly be returning to The Wherry – a hidden treasure and good value

We received a warm welcome from the team at Reception. The bar area was busy but well staffed. Our room was as described on the website. It was spacious enough to move around to access the bathroom and our balcony. It was warm and comfortable, so was the bed. We were very happy with our balcony and the view of the lake from our room. It was too cold to sit outside but we would still recommend a room with balcony; it was well worth the extra money. The bathroom and shower were in good order, well heated & the shower had a good flow The restaurant / carvery offered a good choice of meals at affordable prices. The breakfast gave us everything we needed and staff made poached eggs on request. We found all the staff professional,attentive and friendly We were lucky enough (thanks to the lady at Reception) to obtain last minute tickets for the new year's eve party. Thank-you once again for letting us take part in the festivities!!
