I had the pleasure of staying in the family room with my son for two nights, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were staying with close family, thanks to the wonderful hosts who are so welcoming and warm. The breakfast was fantastic—plentiful and nourishing, with a great variety of delicious options to suit all tastes. I must also mention the mattresses, which were simply perfect—neither too soft nor too firm, and incredibly relaxing. The rooms were spotlessly clean and wonderfully organised, with the unmistakable touch of a dedicated housekeeper throughout. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and will definitely return myself. With sincere gratitude!

The hosts were exceptional—incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They went above and beyond what I could ask for. I forgot a pair of trousers, and Loren kindly lent me a pair for the day. Ray made sure I settled in well and even reserved a table for me at a nearby pub, which he recommended for dinner. And it was fab! Breakfast offered a range of items to suit many preferences. The mattress was wonderful—I slept soundly and found it very comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean and well-kept, and the shower had great pressure and heat. The location of the place is also superb; the bus stop is just around the corner, with buses running on time and regularly. There are many amenities nearby, like Tesco Express, pubs, walks, charity shops, etc. The whole place had such a homely vibe—I felt like I was staying at a close relative's :)

Ray and Loren couldn't have been more helpful and caring, from when I called beforehand to let them know I'd be late, to the moment I left. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to be welcomed as if I were a family member. The room was warm, clean and comfortable, especially the bed! The shower was powerful, which I love. At breakfast, I was invited to share the huge farmhouse kitchen, and I was able to have all my favourites for breakfast, all served generously with a smile and warm conversation. I honestly felt like I'd known Ray and Loren for years; they're so lovely.

That I couldn't stay longer.

Thee room was comfortable with everything you needed for a cup of tea, including a flask of fresh milk. Ray also loaned us a device so we could plug the laptop into the internet (there is no wifi in the Lodge). We both enjoyed having breakfast sat around the big table with the other guests.

Not so easy to find the Lodge; a sign outside would help. We had to phone Ray who came out and waved to us. When driving out of the property, there's a blind bend to the right. Beware cars appearing just as you turn on to the road!

Ray and Loren were very welcoming, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. Ray was very knowledgeable and liked to spark up a conversation with us all, which was lovely. The rooms were clean and comfortable and had towels, which was great as I forgot ours! We had an enjoyable night stay and would stay there again if we were visiting the area in the future

Nothing really. It was perfect for a nights stay.

Very relaxed couple and atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful and everything you needed at breakfast, including good conversation. It is not an all mod cons kind of place, so if you are young and expect shinny things, this is not your gig........but if you want a good nights sleep in a quiet area with a friendly and homely atmosphere. This is your place and at a reasonable price. I would visit again if in that area. Sandy

The hosts, Ray and Loren, were very communicative and accommodating. We had an ensuite room with two beds. The room and bathroom were both clean and the beds were very comfortable to sleep on. Breakfast was yummy with plenty of great conversation. This property is near the Lotus car factory, which we visited during our stay. If you are visiting the Lotus factory, make sure to tell Google maps to avoid highways so that it doesn't route you onto the A11, to avoid the construction detours. I believe construction will go on through 2024-2025.

Pre-arrival info and contact by the host was friendly, informative and welcome. Nice touch to be met on arrival. Good location for the needs of the trip and Hethersett has some good pubs and amenities and is close to Norwich. Clean and comfortable room and overall a good value and enjoyable stay.

Nothing, it was a good value stay. The internet connection is unusual but works fine. Breakfast is basic but good but the lack of a cooked breakfast is the only drawback here.

From arrival until we departed, the whole experience was exceptional, Ray and Loran are sensational hosts, the room was spacious incorporating on suite facilities, the bed was comfortable via the memory foam mattress and finally the continental breakfast was well presented with a wide range of products.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, the room size was perfect and it was nice and quiet overnight. Ray was a delight and was brilliant with my children too. It felt more like staying with friends than renting a room, which was exactly what we all needed after attending a family funeral.

Wifi would have been a bonus, but it didn't impact our stay as we all have phones with data anyway.
