The location was lovely and we enjoyed walking around the site. We stayed there to attend a festival and it worked really well for myself and my daughter. One bed was firmer than the other, which suited us perfectly. The room had everything we needed. During term time at the UEA, there would be many more facilities open closer - more cafes and places to eat, plus a convenience store. On this occasion, we walked across to the lovely sportspark cafe. Parking was easy too. We only heard the neighbours on one evening.

The room was small, which we had expected, but might not suit some people. Also, the walk through from the hotel to the car park and facilities was fine with my daughter, but wouldn't have been OK with my husband. I couldn't see any disabled parking closer to the hotel than the main car park. I may be wrong about that, but it would be something to bear in mind.

Friendly and helpful staff. Super views over the uni grounds, with lovely walks round the lake and wonderful brutalist architecture for afficionados. A clean and comfortable room, really quiet for lovely sleep. It isn't a luxury hotel, neither does it set out to be. Rather it is modern, clean, comfortable and convenient accommodation, which is perfectly set for seeing your student children, and for the frequent buses into the city. The reception staff are simply delightful- so friendly and helpful. Heartily recommended and we really cannot fault it.

While there is a water cooler in reception, it is unavailable after 9pm when reception shuts. No major hassle, we just bought bottled water for our second night. There are plentiful catering options for breakfast on site. At weekends they don't open until 10am so be aware. It's not unreasonable at all, after all, the catering is for the students primarily. These are not 'things we didn't like ' but are just very minor tips.

This place is great it was mere steps from the area where my convention was being held, there's signs all around for easy guidance, the staff were so very kind and helpful too one lady gave me a map and drew on it with info when I told her I had trouble finding something, the room itself while on the smaller side I find this to feel more cosy, probably due to having booked alone, the shower was great and the smart TV was a wonderful size much bigger than expected. The room also came with a coffee set with kettle and some snacks there was already a hair dryer in the room also! The bed was plenty comfortable and the pillows were very nice, I really enjoyed my stay.

I noticed no one seems to make up the rooms between the days? Perhaps this was due to the fact I was only there for 2 nights but it wasn't a massive deal either way, a slightly bigger bin would have been nice as well.

The staff were kind and accommodated my needs

The T.V couldn't connect to the Internet, I tried setting this up by connecting to the WIFi [Cloud], but to no avail. Just a little disappointed as on the advert, it stated i could watch Netflix. Furthermore, the normal TV stations weren't watchable as the signal reception was very poor even with the windows open. I ended up having to improvise by connecting my via screenshare to the T.V to watch some Netflix.

Parked up, thought I was going to have to pay but got reasured the yellow token is scanned in the hotel so you don't have to pay for parking which was a relief as the parking charges would have been expensive for over night stay. The music venue was 30 seconds away so I could easily get to the room after the concert was finished. There was a lift that only went to the 3rd floor and as i stayed on the 3rd floor that came in hand after a long day

How clean and new condition it was

The huge effort it took to get someone from the hotel to communicate after two days of calls, some declined, emails and switch lines after being told on booking.com that the payment would be lost if I missed check in at 20.30 after payment. But no one was contactable for 2 days to ask about a later check in.

Very good value for money. Basic but really comfortable on Uni campus. Two minute walk across from hotel is The LCR concert venue. You can literally be in bed five minutes after leaving venue. Beds were comfortable. Ladies on front desk were friendly and helpful. Spotlessly clean. If you get the chance got for the breakfast at the Sportspark on campus a 5 minute walk.. Amazing value fir £10 including 2eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, beans, tomatoes and 2 hashbrowns. Toast and coffee/tea. Also tea/coffee making facilities in room. Rooms were quiet looking over the green. Free parking with validation of token.

Can’t fault it.

Great location for music festival in Earlham Park. Clean room, good shower, lovely green campus setting and free parking nearby. Bus stop very close serving City centre.

The windows open only very little so room was hot and stuffy. Fan provided but I could not sleep with it on. Had to remove mattress protector as plastic backing caused me to sweat horribly.

Location in the heart of the University of East Anglia is great. I am connected to all events on the campus. In particular those at the LCR.

Only one thing - the WiFi. Perhaps it is a problem with people my age, but _TheCloud seems a little invasive with its information requirements before providing

The communication was great as they had to change my booking twice. I then didn't really know what to expect but it was just one night after a gig at The LCR. It was clean, comfortable and quiet and the staff member we met was quick (we were running very late) and helpful. We had free car parking and went to the sports park for breakfast.

Nothing, it all went well.
