Staff friendly and efficient. Room cleaned everyday. Breakfast plentiful and a good choice. Parking was easy. Room was big. Not sure if we picked a disabled room as we r able bodied but the space was great. Plenty of space for clothes etc.

Bathroom floor was tired. Mattress too hard for us but we did sleep. Milk in room. The tubes of milk r much better than the tiny cartons that have nothing in need 3 or 4 for one cup. The sofa bed looked a bit shabby and had stains on it.

One of the staff members was really great with the kids, offered sweets and colouring for them to do and interacted with them in a sweet manner.

We got sent to the wrong room to begin with. We were trying to get in a room that had children in which was really awkward and must have been scary for them. When we went to reception there was no apology just try to blame bad writing but it wasn't because it was said verbally too. I'm aware accidents happen it was more the trying to brush over it and no apology I didn't like. Also would have loved some mushrooms on breakfast. As a vegetarian I could only have eggs, beans and hash browns. Was tasty enough though.

We really liked how clean the hotel was. Staff were really friendly and so was housekeeping. We were on the ground floor and we never really heard our upstairs neighbours which was great. The continental style breakfast in the morning was always well organised and nice.

The carpet in our room was stained (though cleaned) and the only view from our window was the bike shed. I'm nitpicking because we really didn't mind these things.

Welcoming, efficient staff Room was airy and clean. Tea & coffee facilities and fluffy, white towels. Bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed a restful sleep. When we returned to the hotel in the early hours of Sunday morning, the night staff were more than happy for us to stay in the reception area for a good hour just chatting. Next morning, after a hot shower, we enjoyed a lovely breakfast, with a great selection of drinks and food. Check out was smooth and uncomplicated.

Staff have been amazing Natasha and Tina. We missed breakfast and they spontaneously made me breakfast and the kids. My kids also saw rabbits along to the hotel which was adventurous for all of us

Comfortable room with comfy bed and good shower. The breakfast is a bit more limited than in the past but they were able to provide me with gluten free toast on request which is much appreciated.

I was not expecting to pay a car parking charge. This has been recently introduced and does not seem to be mentioned anywhere. We have stayed here many times and quire recently too but there has been no charge for parking before now.

Staff very helpful, room very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast great, veggie sausages cooked to order, would love some mushrooms too! Convenient location for visiting family & will be staying again.

Outside looks a bit dated and the sports centre next to the holiday inn express looking very tired and in need of redecoration so first impression was a little concerning but needlessly so!

The breakfast was not too bad. But the bed is very comfy and it made us very easy to go asleep. There were quite a lot of parking spaces on site. Quite a lot pubs, restaurants and take-away shops nearby.

There were two pringle crisp crumbs on the floor in the bathroom before we entered it. It seemed not very sanitary... The parking cost 5 pounds for a night. I hope it can be free next time when I rebook the same location.

The breakfast was very good but would have been better if there was some variation …having the same choices for 6 days was ok but some variety would have been appreciated

It would have been appreciated if there was an ice filling station for guests to get their ice. I stayed for 6 days and it was a bit uncomfortable to be continually asking the staff for a glass of ice even they were always very accommodating.

We arrived about 10pm after a bad day and the staff were friendly and welcoming.The kitchen was still open and they were able to do us a pizza and even bring to our room - much appreciated! Room was nice, good size, sofa and small table too, no bath sadly but shower was fine. Nice breakfast included. Quiet night. Large bar, lounge and food area near reception.
