I don't think I have enough words or time in the world to rate a place so well organized than The Lovina! Check in amazing..they remembered us from a visit three years ago and were so welcoming. They welcomed us like family and that is what I call HOSPITALITY! The room was beautiful and had our own little pool. The interior was well laid out and the staff who cleaned it everyday just did little things to make it special everyday. The pool and beach bar was lovely though I would l0ve a couple more beer choices to be honest! The dining on the beach was amazing and the service was awesome . The servers made sure to know our names and welcomed us for breakfast and dinner like they had known us for years. Shout to I think her name was Nevan or something close to that...would hire her in NYC as she knows what service is. Food tasted great with plenty of choices.To be honest it was sad to say goodbye to this gem in Lovina but I will be definitely be back. Hope they keep the fair pricing because this place is only going to get busier!!!!

Amazing. We LOVED this resort hotel so much. Everything was so very welcoming upon check in - the staff were all so genuine and happy. We very very lucky to be upgraded - I have no idea why, I was just thrilled though. Our suite looked out over the pool and the ocean with a large balcony. The air con was super chilled, which we needed! The bed was huge and so comfortable. All the bathroom facilities were fabulous and spotlessly clean. Not enough coffee or milk in our kitchenette, but this was minor. Fresh water stations around the resort made it easy to fill water bottles. The pool was beautiful each morning - it did feel a tad too warm in the afternoons. The sea was refreshing and the beach clean. The pool and grounds team kept the whole pool area immaculate; with smiling pool side bar service. (My only criticism re the pool was guests that left towels on loungers. My thought is that if a guest has finished their pool time, give the towels back to the pool staff, so loungers can be used by other guests?) The resort sits a 10 minute walk into the main area of Lovina. There are beach warungs in easy walking distance. The resort also runs buggy/golf carts from reception to anywhere you want to go locally, which was so convenient and cool. (You just walk back or send a WhatsApp and they will come and collect you.) The gardens and grounds were lush and so very well maintained from dawn to dusk. The whole property was incredibly well maintained showing such a huge sense of pride from the staff. The staff all were a stand out to me: without exception all genuinely happy and smiling. They all had such friendly attitudes. There were a lot of trainee staff too, which made me feel like the resort was engaged in great opportunities for the employment and true development of local young people. The staff were all immaculately dressed in uniform , which indicated a great sense of professionalism.

Great place , customer service great , food yummy , we got an upgraded room for free ( didn’t expect that), so grateful for this opportunity to experience a great two storey Villa with the sea view and own pool. My recommendation , do not book dolphin or snorkeling tour in advance , because right in front of the hotel they have all these services so you can just jump on the boat anytime. Also do not rush to meet dolphins on the sunrise , they stay there long after the sunrise , and on the sunrise it looks like a massive dolphin hunt not a dolphin swim or watch . There is plankton in the water , skin is itchy afterwards so keep it in mind when you put children in the water .

We recommend the private villa with plunge pool which provided us a quiet space of personal luxury (thanks to Deni and Mgr. Sandra for upgrading us). The floating breakfast was very romantic, the spa was nice, the Sunset Restaurant is situated between the main pool and the beach and serves good food and drinks all day long and provides live music and entertainment at night. The wait staff were delightful (with Mede, Kasik, Benny, Gede, and Ewan as standouts). The lifeguard, Aris, got us onto the rent-free paddle boards and kayaks and out to the coral reef for a little snorkeling and he kept a good watch over us. The sunsets in Lovina Beach were beautiful!

Unfortunately, I initially booked a Deluxe Room (and not a Villa), and it wasn't suitable to our tastes or comfort (more suitable to families). I wish the front-desk staff had tried to upgrade my wife and I to a Villa immediately upon check in. The Villa upgrade made a huge difference to our enjoying our stay at the Lovina.

Exceptional service, spotlessly clean and modern. Great location. Food and nightly entertainment was excellent Snorkel directly off the beach at high tide. Further out is an amazing coral reef and fish. Water depth and flat calm water perfect for snorkelling for all ages and abilities. Free use of snorkels, reef shoes, canoes, paddle board and bikes. Free shuttle bus to Lovina shops.

Beach and (huge) pool area is just beautiful, with breathtaking sunsets. Every evening there is some form of entertainment which is actually contributing to the overall atmosphere instead of overtaking it. Staff so friendly and great with kids. Watersports was especially fun to do. Our ground floor apartment (would not call it a villa though..) was great, very spacious, great beds and excellent bathroom facilities as well as a plunge pool in the front garden. Housekeeping does a great job as well. Kids loved the huge lawn and big swing + the organized kids activities. Definitely recommend!

Not much comes to mind, but sometimes it takes questionably long before drinks/food is served and the shower door was leaking creating a puddle of water in the room, but just put a towel down and problem solved. Food is good, not remarkable and the breakfast buffet could do with some more options.

If you intend to watch dolphin or do snorkelling, the beach is just 100 steps away from my room. every staff is friendly and ready to serve - taking extra steps to delight people. breakfast first day was ala carte, they cooked vegan food for us. the fresh juice and fruits were very good. welcome drinks at pool side also good. they provide free shuttle to send you to your intended places, and fetch you back. with minimal waiting time. we all like this place, and would like to come back again.

The Lovina is an institution in a very nice spot directly at the beach. The rooms are very luxorious, spacy and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a big choice of different breakfast styles. The pool area is next to the beach, very clean and with very good service. Beach activities like standup paddeling are inclusive. Dinner is excellent with moderate prices. There was so much service staff, that you never had to wait for anything. Reception was very friendly, professional and helpful. They arranged the birthday breakfast for my daughter very nicely. Thank you again. The SPA is excellent and easy to book. Activities like morning yoga, gamelan workshop or balinese dance were very nice and professional and included in the price.

The hotel is not brand new, but very well maintained.

This is my second staycation and I love it more and more, they upgraded our room for free and all the staffs were friendly and great even accompanied me and my son had tried canoeing and everything was lovely and wonderful stayed, Thankyou The Lovina for sure will come back soon 🤩✨😍

The tranquility, the exceptional staff very attentive. The room upgrade was much appreciated and lovely ( it was our honeymoon) the food dinner and breakfast was lovely. we were even taught how to speak Bahasa by one of the lovely ladies at dinner. Thank you for making our stay so good

The aircon was not great in our room E14 and we had to park our scooter in the sun not where all the other scooters were.
