The location and view by the sea was perfect! Watersports at the beach was nice, we rented a self trip by a boat. Enjoyed it!

We had the breakfast included, have to say that the food choice and variaty is poor. Also- one staff member from the kitchen wasnt so friendly, she declined to make my 2 year old a fresh omlette. The prices for food from the menu at the pool bar is way too high, accorrding to the quality as well. During our stay, two days in a row, there was a duck walking around the swimming pool, she also eventually had a bath in the pool near the other people. Didnt feel very hygienic. The price is a bit too high, according to the mentioned things above.

The resort is beautiful, with a lot of vegetation. Our room had a nice terrace/ garden. The beach has an intimate feeling and has natural shadow, mainly in the afternoon. The Greek night at the main restaurant was very entertaining with music and dance. Very good resort for families with (small) children.

The a la carte restaurant and the beach bar are both very pricey. One dinnner costs aprox double the amount it costs at a regular greek taverna. Also, the a la carte restaurant does not have enough fish/sea food options and the one night we had dinner at the buffet, it had just one dish with fish and wasn't the best.

First, the quality of the breakfast and the food offered at the hotel overall were excellent. Second, the staff were friendly and always willing to help. Third, there were engaging activities for children in the kids’ room. Fourth, the cats on the premises were simply lovely and brought joy to the little guests. As a suggestion, the hotel could consider vaccinating them and fostering a culture of gentle, respectful treatment of animals. Fifth, the rooms are perfect for a family stay — the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. It would be even more convenient if a small washing machine could be added to the room. I wouldn’t say I disliked anything, but here are a few suggestions: First, it would be great to have bottled water replenished in the room daily. Second, some of the sun loungers could be replaced, as a few are worn out or unsteady. Third, adding lifeguards to both pools would be a valuable improvement.

Wonderful localisation. Beautiful beach with a great view. We once went to a Voulisma beach (reportedly one of the most beautiful on the island), which was crowded, no changing stations and loud, and we stayed there for 10 minutes tops and decided to go back to "our" Candia beach to have a nice swim without being worried that our stuff would be stolen. We booked a superior family apartment and for 3 people it was really spacious and comfortable. Maybe a bit outdated, but at the bathroom was renovated. The terrace was big enough to play ball with my daughter or do yoga in the morning. The staff was mannerly and helpful.

Two things - uncomfortable bed with hard pillows; and 2nd - the hotel has no policy regarding 'booking' sunbeds with a towels on the beach. Each time we got there, there were many sunbeds 'booked' this way and we ended up leaving our stuff on one of those risking a fight with someone else, as there was no sunbeds available; once I got to the beach at about 2 pm - since it was lunch time there were perhaps 10 people there and yet no available sunbeds! I finally found one in the full sun. That was very annoying.

This is a hotel that takes comfort to next level. You have everything at one hand distance - beach, pools, gelateria, mini market, restaurants, parking. It's impressive how much they dedicate to children activities. Beautiful staff, always kind, always smiles, always helpful...this place just vibes with happiness and comfort. Very well organized, spacious apartment, gorgeous park area, pools, beach. All kind of activities, facilities and comfort.

Not sure why the cleaning ladies starts knocking on your door since 08:30-9:00 every morning although we explained we are late sleepers...

Candia Park Village is a beautiful development set in a bay close to the pretty town of Agios Nikolaos. We rented a family apartment, which had a kitchen/living room, a spatious bedroom and modern bathroom. The breakfast and dinner buffet were of a very high standard. We enjoyed the pool and even tried scuba diving at the private beach, which was amazing. The staff were always polite and helpful. As it is a family hotel, there are mostly families with small kids, so the place is lively in the mornings but quiet in the evening, which we appreciated. The kids club had many activities on offer. For older kids (12+), there is the pool, the on-site ice cream shop, and the gym.

Our family apartment only had one bedroom (which we knew when booking), so two of us slept on sofa beds in the living room/kitchen. These were comfortable, but the living conditions for a family of four were a bit cramped for the length of our stay. The outdoor space compensated for this.

Candia Park Village is a perfect hotel to stay with young kids. The bedroom was comfortable; the living room was spacious - a kitchenette and an extendable sleeper couch for the kid(s) are super convenient. Very quiet. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. In addition to the main pool, there are two pools for young children - one really shallow one for toddlers and another with an incline from 0.8m to 1.7m. The sandy beach has sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon. Overall, the hotel territory is not super extensive, but has everything in close proximity. Highly recommend.

We loved this resort, really welcoming and a family atmosphere. The staff were amazing; always helpful and courteous. The facilities are great, it’s a busy resort but never feels crowded and loads of sun loungers in all areas so no scramble to put towels down. We enjoyed the pools, sandy beach and rocky beach . We also took advantage of the yoga on the beach, tennis lessons and the gym. The pool bar was great for snacks and drinks. My daughter is gluten free and she gave the GF club sandwich 10/10. Also GF cereals and bread available at breakfast. We went to Agios Nikolaos in the evenings for dinner, lots of good restaurants and around 12 euros in a cab. Would highly recommend CPV for a chilled out stay in an amazing setting.

Property is well maintained with wonderful staff. Our room was bigger than in many hotels we’ve stayed. It was nice to have a kitchen that we used to prepare a quick lunch on our break from the beach. My favorite part was the balcony with beautiful views and pine trees on each side as a natural shade from the sun. Huge thank you to Zeljka, Katerina, Dimitris, and many other wonderful people that made our experience so special. We hope to come back one day.

The grounds are beautiful, it’s a lovely size and feels intimate. The beach is gorgeous and the water is so calm and clear. The town is a short taxi away. The food is delicious in the a la carte.

It would benefit from having a coffee shop / bakery to enjoy a coffee and pastry in the morning if you don’t fancy the buffet.
