I really enjoyed my stay and thought it was a good value. The room was lovely with a vaulted ceiling, very large, vanity area and wetbar area, large closet, and nice balcony as well. Some bathroom fixtures are not the most modern but everything clean and fully functional. Internet was fast and reliable. The resort is small and intimate; for me that was a plus. Food is average. I thought staff could be more attentive and responsive - but after my time here I recognize that as the laid back style of Barbados.

The hotel recommended SunTours for airport transfers and that was a stressful mistake. They were half-hour late and I almost missed my plane. The hotel desk clerk said they had previous issues with SunTours and her supervisor had been informed, yet the hotel is still recommending them.

The beach was too rocky which really spoils it you can sunbathe but when it gets too hot you can't just go into the sea for a cool down The food was ok, breakfast could do with more fruits This hotel is not for disabled or somebody that can't climb stairs there are stairs everywhere with only one lift.

General atmosphere and infrastructure

The room wasn’t the cleanest. The shower and bedroom mats were dirty as well as the tub and shower curtain. The grout in the tiles were black (which indicates a lot of dirt) and air was stuffy and a bit musty. The couch needed a deep clean. I didn’t like that there was not a consistent supply of bottled water. I believe water is something that should be provided daily to guests as a necessity.

Very relaxed atmosphere, staff are very friendly and helpful room was very nice and comfortable, everywhere was kept very clean.

Only two bottles of water were provided in the room on arrival and not replenished, even if you were on the all inclusive package bottled water was chargeable from the bars which didn’t make sense. Although there was a water station by the beach area.

The staff at the hotel were fantastic. Very helpful. Always a smile.

Info on booking restaurants in advance. We were only there a short time and weren’t aware of the need to book v early in the morning so missed chance to go to the restaurant chopstix as it’s only open twice a week

The see Infront of the hotel, beautiful but not for swimming (swallow and rocky). However, if you are a surfer you will love the spot

The only drawback back was that the beach wasn’t safe for swimming, but the hotel arranged to take us to Carlisle beach several times. Carlisle is just 10 minutes away and is an absolutely beautiful beach.

Food was better than expected. Staff could not be more helpful. Carrying our bags where there was a need. ( lots of steps) The bed was enormous and all so clean everywhere. Highly recommend.

The steps could be a problem for some people. Would have liked to stay longer.

Very tidy, clean, & homely & then seasoned, garnished & topped up with the creativity of nature! Atimes difficult to know which comes first: The people of the land or the land of the people!
