The owner was communicative and waited for me to arrive to give me my key. The balcony is a lovely place to sit and far enough away from the bars to be quiet but close enough to walk (5-10 minutes from centre of town). The room has a fridge in it and the bed I found comfortable.

The lorry park for the ferries is opposite and the lights are bright and shine through the curtains a bit. As a Brit we are used to tea and coffee facilities in the room but not a massive issue.

Excellent modest guesthouse right at the port of Chios. Great to enjoy a drink at the terrace observing the well organised chaos of loading and unloading bigger and smaller ferries and other boats. The room was even more comfortable and renovated than expected.

The room feels fresh and well ventilated, but the common spaces - stairs and corridors are overwhelmed by age old tobacco scent

The gentleman on reception was super helpful and friendly, he let us check in early and gave us a room with a great sea view. The location is perfect for an early morning ferry and right next to the castle and town. The shower was hot and very powerful and the bed was pretty comfortable. If I had an early morning ferry, this would definitely be my preferred stay the night before.

We loved sitting on the balcony at night watching the chaos unfold as the ferries arrived but this is noisy and might not be for everyone if you need a really early night (though the double glazed doors do a great job of keeping the noise down and you can always wear ear plugs). However for us this is a positive.

The hotel has seen better days, and could do with an upgrade on the decor and facilities - but that is not important. Take it as travelling 20 years back in time - very retro experience! Although old and well used, everything was in working order - comfortable, clean bed, great double shower, hot water, flushing toilet. Very interesting harbour building. The most amazing part about this place - provided you book a room with balcony is the VIEW, overlooking the entire harbour. Once you get off the ferry its only 1 minutes walk away! Located away from the touristy hustle and bustle places. We would totally book again!

The location was perfect. Right on the port and steps from many nice restaurants. The room was simple but clean and quiet. Excellent value for the price. There was a balcony overlooking the port, which was nice to have. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He allowed me to check in early after arriving in Chios on a morning ferry. He also let me store my bags after checkout, so I could enjoy Chios while waiting for my night ferry.

The owner of the hotel was very helpful, We had an illness on our last day, so the hotel allowed us to check out until 15:30 to rest. The hotel is directly next to the port, Chios is already a small place, you can reach everywhere in the center in 5 minutes.

The downside is there is no breakfast, the hotel is a bit old. Ideal for short stays

Great location, nice balcony with a good view. Fairly quiet. The owner was very friendly and happy to help and even let me check in early.

One odd aspect, the bathroom doesn't have a light. Had to use a headlamp which I placed on the counter when showering during hours of darkness.

The property is located directly at the port, which is great for watching the world go by. The staff were lovely and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

The decor is a little tired, didn’t bother us big it can be quite noisy with the ferries.

Location is perfect. It is very close to the ferry port and 5 min away by walk from all the shops, bars and restaurants The view of our room was very nice, just looking at the harbor. We could watch the fireworks on Easter night and had our wine. The owner, Mr. Thanasis was very helpful. We could early check-in as soon as we got off the ferry and checked-out late just before the ferry departure @ 17:00 hrs.

The bathroom needs some touch ups. We wish there was a kettle in the room for hot water for coffee/tea.

When you get out of ferry hotel is in 10 mt distance . İt is great to let your baggages and get in to chios life . For the last day of your trip this is an bonus advantage not to walk with your shoppings ! Owner is very polide and helpfull . Rooms are sound proof even they are soo close to port . Must go
