The hostel is a lovely place, located at a walkable distance of all major attractions the city has to offer. I specially liked the breakfast, that felt like an authentic Danish breakfast, and the rooms are cosy and full of huggy. It is very clean, and you will feel much more at home than in a hostel, which makes communication with fellow travelers very easy.

Overall, the only black spot in the picture is the fact that we did not sleep perfectly well the first night. The blanket are very hot, and the nearby night club can be a bit noisy when you are just starting your night, but you will soon forget it. The second night was perfect though.

Very convenient location near Odense centre yet fairly quiet (not so quiet on a Fri night though). Nice host. Good value for Denmark. I had two different rooms (two bookings) - the second one bigger and better than the first.

Beds a little soft. Some may find sharing bathrooms and self serve breakfast a little awkward - and beware carrying your breakfast upstairs if you’re on the 2nd floor! - but it just about worked for me and remember it’s somebody’s house not an expensive hotel. Odense is a lovely city and if I came back I’d stay here again

We liked the included breakfast which was so generous and fresh! Also the location is perfect right next to the main street!

The beds and the pillows were so bad, both me and my mom woke up with body and neck pain :/ also the room heater was not working properly and even though the host tried to fix it, the room was still not heated properly :/ also be mindful the house is old and all the floors and doors are creaking and the other roommates did plenty of noise at 23:00 that they returned and tried to cook in the microwave which was right next to our room so it was loud!

Welcoming, clean, friendly, well organized, super location.

I planned two hours for breakfast and even so, it was tricky sharing 2 bathrooms and tiny upstairs kitchenette with other guests on my last morning: I kept going up but found the spaces occupied every time and they left things yucky in the bathrooms and took all the bread and cheese. There were three pots of jam but the one I liked, they took to their room. It was the proverbial cherry NOT on top! A bit unfortunate that the kitchen area is so small that it isn't possible to make coffee at the same time and share while others are using it. But not all guests are so inconsiderate, I just got unlucky I think.

Loved the location and the apartment was great. The rooms are very spacious and the kitchen facilities were great as well as a good selection of goodies for breakfast. Overall we had a great stay here and would definitely come back again.

There were quite a few rooms servicing 2 bathrooms so was a little bit congested in the mornings and some non slip grip on the bottom few stairs where the handrail runs out would be great to help prevent falls.

I got the cosy single bedroom right under the roof, lovingly decorated and super comfy. The B&B is located right in the town centre, my friends from Odense whom I was visiting were quite jealous. ;) to my surprise, breakfast was included, and one simply cannot start off the day in a bad way when there is pålægschokolade for breakfast. 😍 I chatted a little with Jens when I arrived, so nice and friendly, and will most definitely be back the next time I visit Odense.

location super central, the hosts are very friendly, communicative, and helpful. we messaged them at 11pm as we found a tick in my partner and within 2 minutes we got all the tools needed. they let us store the luggage the next day since our ride came later as expected. We felt welcome and taken care of.

just something to be aware of: old building, with squeaky floors and not much sound insulation, and two bathrooms shared among all. nothing hugely tragic but relevant if you prefer more privacy.

Excellent value ,friendly n helpful staff ,good location,powerful shower , clean,modern design and a good breakfast selection .Can definitely recommend.

Walls are not fully soundproofed but the other guests were considerate and quiet ,and the kitchen area was small ,but fortunately not everyone wanted to get breakfast simultaneously. These issues will not prevent me from.booking here on my next Odense visit and I can recommend it for its excellent value .

For a budget B&B, this place offered a small but warm, comfortable and bright room. Breakfast was pretty good with a thoroughly reasonable selection, two bathrooms for seven rooms meant there was rarely a queue to get clean or go to the loo, and the small kitchen area stocked with tea, coffee and milk was a lovely little touch. Dorte and Jens have hit a winning combination here. Decent WiFi, a splendid location close to everything you need yet still quiet, and this is an excellent choice for budget-conscious travellers in Odense.

Light sleepers may need earplugs as the soundproofing is mediocre, but otherwise no issues.

The place is very nice and comfortable. If arriving by car, keep in mind that the gates are really small. The hostess warns about it when you book parking. Hostess Dorte is friendly. Facilities are clean. We booked also breakfast - the bread was fresh and tasty, butter, cheese, ham and juice you can get from refrigerator, but we were a bit surprised to get only 1 boiled egg per person.

As I have stayed in different places in Denmark and have very good experience with breakfasts booked, was a bit surprised on what we got here by Eur 10,- per person.
