We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful historic property. There were plenty of open seating areas. There is a common kitchen which was a convenient option for warming up food or preparing simple meals. Our room in the main manor house was spacious and comfortable. There is also a small nice garden at the back of the house where we took the photo. Ample free parking space. We were allowed to drive our car up to the room entrance to load and unload our luggage. Simple breakfast with daily baked fresh bread. And this hotel has the 'fastest coffee dispenser'. It takes seconds to fill up your mug! Reception staff were both friendly and efficient. The service exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful and quiet location, 20 minutes walking distance from the city center. Free parking available. Shared kitchen, and common areas inside the building and in the garden just outside, with tables for having meals or just relax. Very clean, either the room or the common areas. Room was a bit small but very typical and with all the essentials. Fantastic place that we'll never forget, and we'll consider next time we'll be traveling to Odense.

Duvet were too heavy for such a warm (18-20°C outside) period of the year. I would suggest to offer also lighter alternatives. Beds were not very comfortable, with the thin mattress moving all time over the grey bed frame. If you fix them in a way that the mattress doesn't move, then it will be much more comfortable. In the bathroom, it would be nice placing a real box for the shower instead of the tent, that moves all the time.

We were looking for somewhere to stay quite spontaneously and came across this hotel as it was about halfway along our route. As we arrived outside the regular opening hours, the key was disposited. This worked well and the room was individually prepared for our family. The extensive breakfast was very good and the staff at reception were very friendly. We are grateful for this uncomplicated overnight stay on our journey to the north.

It's good value, but that may be because the hotel is on the same site as a hostel ( wandrerhjem) with which it shares reception and facilities - and that isn't really apparent from the website. Facilities are clean but basic. tea and coffee were in an area shared with 3 other rooms - and when I went for some it had all gone

The whole place was really aesthetic. It is located in a lovely park and it was just a pleasure to be surrounded by its nature. There are bicycles available to ride which really lends to the overall great atmosphere. Clean and comfortable. Check-in was super easy. It’s only a few minutes to drive to all of the popular locations in town.

Charming hotel with several outbuildings. Our rooms were clean and functional, with good sized bathrooms. The grounds were quiet with a parklike area in behind. Lots of parking available. Downtown area was a 5 minute drive. Very simple buffet breakfast was served, but sufficient. Extremely restful, quiet place.

Tricky to find the place, as it is tucked back from the street. The rooms have limited amenities. Small kitchen areas are available in each building, but nothing such as a small fridge or kettle, is in the bedrooms.

Quiet, the room was clean and modern although I had to constantly watch my head in the attic. Coffee/tea making facilities, little shared kitchenette. Free parking and solid WIFI is always nice.

Breakfast is very basic, the city center is not a stone's throw away, hence bikes are helpful. Can imagine that the room might be quite hot during summer (even if it's DK).

A fairly long walk into town the old town- about a mile. The internal soundproofing wasn't great and slamming doors could have been a problem, although luckily everyone seemed to turn in early in our block.

We stayed in the hotel part of the property. It was like a fairytale—a beautiful building surrounded by a forest of greenery. Incredible Danish/Odense experience for us Aussies.

It's a basic setup, but honestly, that's part of the charm. And the price is really competitive for what you get!

Nice modern room with a nice clean bathroom. It was a quiet environment and the beds were comfortable. There was a small kitchen downstairs that you could use to make tea or coffee.

You had to walk 20 minutes or so to get to the city center, but it did have free parking, so that was OK. There was a big group of children during our stay, we did not hear them at all due to the soundproof windows so that was OK. But I can imagine if you are in a different room it can be an issue (given the other reviews)
