Loved that we could grab some coffee, juice, apple, and oatmeal, then head back to our room. Space was very large, so it was easy to use my foam roller on the floor. The desk was easy to move, so I could work on may 350 piece puzzle while sitting on the bed. There was a bath tub, shallow but works for a soak.

Biggest issue: We have our own fire stick with downloaded programs and special logins, BUT we were unable to use it, and we were limited to 46 channels from the existing TV. The remote control was designed to limit access to TV settings, and when the coax cable was disconnected, it would not default to HDMI. We are very techy, and we gave up after 30 mins of trouble shooting. This is something that will affect my future stay decisions. Fridge had a functional freezer for ice packs, but the ice cream was more like a shake, even when the freezer was maxed. The drawers and doors all stuck a little, but we didn't really care about that.

The room was VERY well laid out. The mini-fridge and clothing rack were located in the bathroom sink area and separated by a wall from the rest of the room. BRILLIANT! We did not have to hear the fridge running all night (or un plug it - which defeats the purpose of having it) Our clothing and gear (we are motorcyclists) was stored there as well. Leaving us to enjoy the room with out having to look at all the travel items and bags we carry, SO NICE! We were walking distance to several Restaurants., we chose Gallagher’s Irish Pub, NO REGRETS! We were able to store our motorcycle close to the front office which was covered/sheltered so we didn’t have to come out to a wet bike in the morning. And, it was SUNNY!

Not really a “Breakfast” in the morning… It’s really a snack: granola bars and apples. Powdered Creamer for your coffee… could definitely use some improvements.

Dog friendly. Third party site did not mention the $20 per day pet charge. The staff was awesome. Very helpful and made a great restaurant recommendation.

Lots of homeless in the area. Area looked super clean. I suspect that the city of Eureka had a massive clean up project for the Cal Poly Humboldt graduation ceremony. Do be fooled by the “breakfast included “ amenity. Only coffee, tea, juice, granola bar, instant oatmeal packets, and small apples.

Comfortable beds, helpful staff. Overall clean. Parking was OK - spots were convenient but lot filled quickly.

As said above, the parking lot filled quickly. There were 4-5 spots for EV charging, which remained empty but limited parking for anyone else. The "free breakfast" was just a grab-and-go snack bar with granola bars, fruit, and coffee. That might work for some people, but not a family of four!

Tucker was phenomenal, helping with our reservation mistake! He and Daniel were awesome checking us in at almost midnight. So pleasant and helpful. Adam in the morning was also kind and helpful. The family suite was perfect. Like a 2 bedroom apartment!

The " breakfast " isn't really a breakfast. It's more like a small snack area. I would've liked a TV in each room.

The location was right on 101 and easy to find. I requested and was given a downstairs room. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very efficient and pleasant.

"Breakfast" is more than a little misleading. There was coffee and a juice dispenser, a basket of granola bars and a bowl of apples. Certainly enough to stave off hunger but it's even less than a continental breakfast.

We appreciated the fact it was a non-smoking property. Our room was generous and comfortable. Checking in was efficient and timely. I inquired as to local favorite restaurants and thoroughly enjoyed one of her suggestions of the Marina Cafe. Our dinner was exceptional and indulging on local seafood emphasized the abundant quality available. We would definitely visit again.

Breakfast was minimal. I was slightly worried about my car’s safety but had no problems.

I will definitely book again. The manager, Adam, is awesome and is very kind and helpful. The cleaning staff are amazing and work very hard to keep the rooms and grounds very clean. DUTCH BROS RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET RALIBERTO'S EXCELLENT MEXICAN FOOD 2-3 BLOCKS AWAY. LAUNDRY MAT RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET! SAFE PARKING VERY PRIVATE AND COMFORTABLE!! Easy highway, beach, NHRA RACETRACK, freeway access, large grocery store not far (Target, gas stations, CVS, and very short drive to Eureka dog park too!) There are renovations going on at the hotel, but no interruptions or loud noises late at night. I never ever heard any neighbors and never was told they heard my TV late ar night when I fell asleep! Super comfy beds and pillows I've stayed twice (1-2 weeks at a time) for work and always am very happy with the privacy to work and my dog is rarely alerted to anyone outside, there's very little foot traffic compared to other more expensive places in Eureka. I will definitely book here again. All front window staff and on-site managers are excellent! As a single female, I was very comfortable and very safe. Thank you, Adam and all staff. You made my stay very welcoming and very comfortable!! You all are awesome!!

Not much to dislike. There are more expensive places 2-3 BLOCKS away on 3rd Street, DO NOT STAY ON 3RD STREET IT IS THE RED LIGHT DISTRICT! No joke! I will book at Super 8 any day before I book closer to the marina and 3rd Street again. Super 8 will always be my go to for booking in Eureka!

Rooms have been updated recently, at least the one we were in was very nice and felt clean. We slept well but had the windows open and there was I bit more road noise in the morning than I would like but I'm sure that was mostly due to me leaving the windows open. The man who checked us in and out was very nice. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and feel it was worth the price we paid.

Minor road noise but by no means a deal breaker.

Comfy beds and pillows Super nice and accommodating staff Excellent Manager (Adam) and front desk staff (can't remember his name but very kind) Easy parking Right next door to a security company that has cameras all over, so bot a lot of foot traffic and usually very quiet. Also as a solo female traveler whose stayed at other locations in Eureka, I felt very safe here and was not bothered at all. Dutch Bros Coffee and laundrymat right across the street Good location and easy access to highways and stores Easy walk (3 to 4 blocks) to the marina and bay

No real complaints, honestly. I will keep booking here if needed!
