This was the first time my wife and I stayed here. What a pleasant surprise. Cate and her husband have done a great job. The king suite is roomy and comfortable. Good bed, good shower, small refrigerator, good AC, good wifi. Super clean and very comfortable. She feeds you a great breakfast in the morning which is included in the price. This is as good a breakfast as you will find anywhere. The property has a nice pool and comfortable deck chairs to sit outside and relax. The property is in a good location and is very quiet. They have all the boxes checked. We have been coming to Belize for 25 years. This is our new go to place near Belize city. Thank you for the stay. We appreciate you.

This is a great find just 7 minutes from the airport, whether coming or going into or out of the country. The hosts, Cate and Dan, along with manager Vinnie, were more than accommodating and friendly. The room was well lit, air conditioned, with a comfortable king size bed, fridge and coffee maker. Beautiful small pool outside the door. The bathroom had a very large beautifully tiled shower with amenities. What set it apart was being able to order a delicious evening meal and a glass of wine! No need to leave the property after travelling all day. Breakfast was lovely and chatting with the hosts left you wanting to stay longer.

Quiet location, relaxing atmosphere, wonderful pool and awesome, caring host. Loved our stay and highly recommend! BnB has access to a great driver, Tony, whom we used to transport us from the Belize ferry to the BnB and then out to dinner later evening. He is very prompt n nice! The morning breakfast was amazing! It was a full, tasty meal w fresh juice n coffee along with eggs, sausage n fresh baked pastries. Yummy!

We spent two nights here mid-December, one our first night after landing at the airport and the other our last night before flying home. Very convenient to the airport and yet away from the general airport frenzy. Cathy was an excellent and attentive host, and had arranged a driver to pick us up at the airport upon arrival. Breakfast both mornings was very tasty, our introduction to fry jacks, with good coffee and juice. Wifi excellent, bed comfortable, a/c effective, ample hot water. We only wish we had arranged to enjoy an evening meal, by all accounts these are fine too. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

the location was good just a bet harder to find at first. the people were excellent and there are three little dogs which are very cute and friendly that really made our welcome and stay feel good. Good breakfast and right on time which made it easy to catch our morning flight out.

we only stayed the one night so I rally can't say there was anything that was not up to standard...all great to us.

Communication prior to staying was excellent - really helpful and informative. We were able to store our luggage here without charge whilst visiting Guatemala, which was an unexpected bonus! The room was great - fantastic shower and the room had everything you would need in it. (Strong A/C, Toiletries, fridge, big comfy bed and hairdryer). The pool area was a great place to relax and unwind. Breakfast (and dinner) were delicious- fresh and tasty. The proximity to the airport was really handy- just 10 minutes in a taxi and the BNB organised this for us, which was great.

Great little B&B close to the airport. Can't say enough good things about the hosts, the coziness of the location, and the convenience. Will definitely stay with them again when in Belize.

The power cut out for about 30 minutes (it was city-wide, so no fault of the owners), but the hosts provided all the guests with lamps to illuminate their rooms and free drinks for the "inconvenience." We didn't mind; everyone gathered on the porch and hung out, swapping stories. Actually made for a great memory!

Triggerfish BNB is the best property we've stayed at in Belize City. The hosts go the extra mile to make sure you have everything and take care of arrangements like travel back and forth to the airports. They are also willing to serve meals to those who may not have as nice a property but wander over during the day. The property isn't big, but there were iguanas all over with the canal running in the background. Everything was clean and welcoming. Highly recommend.

The place is lovely, very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning was great, there were plenty of towels and they have a great little pool to cool off in. Kathy prepares a nice breakfast with plenty of good coffee. The hosts Kathy and Dan and their cohost Vinny were wonderful and very accommodating. WI-FI works well.

The property is located quite a ways from the main highway where there are a few shops for basics and places to eat. It is possible to walk to the highway, it takes about 20 minutes, but it’s not a walk that everyone would want to do. The area seemed safe but the road is hot and dusty with uneven gravel. It is not safe to walk at night because in the dark cars may not see you. If you don’t have a car, taxi service is on the expensive side with a run to one of the few restaurants nearby costing about $6-10 US one way.

Cathy & Dan were fantastic! Made us feel welcome and quickly gave us all the info. we needed for our stay without making us feel overwhelmed. Cathy was very accommodating and even provided gluten free when she learned of my gluten sensitivity. Super close to the airport. Easy access.

The only negative for me was the bed was VERY firm. I prefer a softer mattress and even my husband (who can sleep on a rock) thought the bed was too firm. Maybe a topper to provide a little fluff would help. I would still stay again.
