Great staff, kind, friendly and helpful. The indoor/outdoor restaurant in the resort is also good. They also have a bar. Shuttle pick up is efficient and drop off is convenient to anywhere in the city and airport, with a fee.

The pool is full of kids, so for families this is a good place to stay. Our room is located on the ground floor so there is no view and we kept the blind close since it faces the walk ways. Also mosquitoes get in the room since it's close to the garden landscape around the restaurant, we had 3 and they bit me. The AC vent does not work in the bathroom so the window was opened with only a screen and a sheer curtain, so it felt humid inside. Also, the hotel is about 3 miles distance from the water and boardwalk area where you can find great restaurants and walk to museums and other historical buildings.

The staff was helpful and friendly. We really liked the pool, restaurant and bar. Rooms had everything we needed. It was a great place to stay near the airport on both ends of our Belize trip, and was easy to pick up/drop off for tours. There was no elevator, which was tricky for a few in our party, but they helped carry bags so we made it work.

Communication was inconsistent - we called ahead to book their airport shuttle, and both times we called, they hung up before we felt the details were confirmed (size of party, price, pick up location, etc.) When we there, we booked the shuttle to return to the airport, and then there was no record of that the next morning. It all worked out and the shuttle was great, but communication was unclear. Karaoke night was very loud right outside our room.,

They have a shuttle that runs between the ferry and the hotel. They also run it to drop off at the airport (for a fee). The property has many rooms, clean and well maintained. It’s neither close to any attractions of Belize City nor too close to the airport. Most tour operators pick up guests from the property. Not many restaurants nearby other than BW’s. There was some construction outside our room so, it was a little noisy till 5pm on both days of our stay. The day we checked in, there was sewage smell for some time but, it went away by night. I had booked a tour for cave tubing which got cancelled the morning of. I went to the front desk and they were able to arrange the almost same tour quickly.

Nice hotel that is perfect for airport layovers but not much more. Felt like a bit of an oasis in Belize. Tropical pool setting with lots of wood. Friendly staff. Not too much around it - across the street is a great Lebanese restaurant and three blocks away is a supermarket. Inside hotel, everything is pricey.

The airport "shuttle" felt a little scammy. We were told we would have a private taxi to airport ($25 USD for 2 people) but unbeknownst to us, the hotel said the same thing to another couple and crammed the four of us into a car - essentially charging two couples what one car taxi would have cost. Our luggage was on our laps and it was super awkward as they were told they had the car to themselves as well.

The hotel's rooms are located around the central part where the swimming pool and restaurant are located. When you come out of the hotel room, you are immediately outside in a beautiful and clean environment with lots of plants. Well-appointed rooms, excellent beds and good WiFi. An extensive (but quite pricey for the country) breakfast buffet for 32 BZ$, about 15€. The hotel is located on the main road to Belize City, almost 5 km from the center, much too far to walk. Because the hotel shuttle we had ordered for the morning (for 20 BZ$) was unfortunately not available, we looked for a bus. The bus turned out to almost stop in front of the door! This bus took us to the center (bus station) for only 2 BZ$ per person, after which we could continue by bus to the Belize Zoo. Back to the hotel also went well (= bus to Belama). In summary, a location far outside the center, but with a handy bus line to the center, where you also come into contact with local people.

Unfortunately we had a so-called connecting room. You pay the same as a regular room, but you have much less privacy. We could hear our neighbours talking through the connecting door, coughing and only going to sleep after their TV turned off. Hotels offer a connecting room as a service to guests who request it. Why doesn't the reception ask the other way around when you check in if you, as a guest, want to stay in a room with a connecting door? Not many restaurants in the area, except (an good) "Sahara" across the street.

It's the best property in Belize City.

I was put in a room in the back of hotel near parking lot. The bathroom window looked out into some sort of break room/alley way. I kept hearing what sounded like a phone conversation when I looked out the window there were several men seated right outside the bathroom window scrolling on their phones. I immediately reported to the front desk and they advise they are not suppose to be back there. That area should be locked off as anyone can come into that window, not safe at all.

Loved the pool in the morning. They upgraded our room which was nice. (not sure why they did). They beds were so comfortable we peeked at the mattress brand. Dinner portions were quite large and delicious. We chose it because it was close to the airport and it was our last night in the country. But I can see where it would be a great location to stay and do/go to some of the nearby attractions from and return to comfy beds and the pool that is big enough to actually do some laps. Also, the pool was a good temperature--not too cold.

We had dinner in their open air section (we could have chosen indoor section), and we chose a table away from other guests, but realized it did not have a ceiling fan like most other outdoor tables had-- we think we got some mosquito bites during the meal.

We stayed for 4 days and it was great! The restaurant has authentic Belizean food, the pool was perfect with a fun vibe and we were able to order drinks and food to the pool. Wine bar and coffee shop attached! Best place in Belize City!!

There was an event of some kind late into the evening one night that kept us up but oh well. They did have fireworks so we ended up just coming out and watching them. HA!

Room, we were given rooms next to each other. Pool was good but too many smokers around so we were coughing. Breakfast was good but had to pay extra every day.

Mosquito bites in the garden seating area and also in the lobby. Sewage smell in the bathroom 202 and water stopping while you are showering in the bathrooms 201,202.

Property was a tropical paradise in an urban area. Extensive facilities for both leisure and conference customers. Unless you were touring, you didn't have to leave the property.

Kind of noisy at night due to a large group of inconsiderate teenagers(hotel staff did well to quiet them eventually)
