The property manager, Julia, and the jack of all trades chef, Louis, are wonderful hosts! As my first impression of the country, they were terrific ambassadors. They were thoughtful, hospitable, patient, and punctual during my short stay. The food was delicious and can’t be beat in taste or price. I was in the mixed dormitory where everyone was an eclectic mix of nationalities and ages - not at all the stereotypical party backpacker vibe one may associate with a hostel. Julia and Louis consciously fostered an engaging community where travelers and make connections and leave with more knowledge about the world - plus another friend! I felt very well looked after as a solo female traveler and would 100% recommend.

I would appreciate more hanging hooks inside the shower and/or toilet, but mostly the shower area. Perhaps another small face towel/washcloth to be included with our regular towel would be really nice.

Everything was perfect. The hostel was very easy to find. Close to all shops, banks and other sights. Julia and Lewis were great hosts who looked after the guests and knew exactly what they wanted. One of the best hostels I've ever been to.

Quiet neighborhood with friendly, helpful hosts. The location is between downtown and the airport so both are easily accessible from the inn. My bed in one of the private rooms was comfortable and I had the best sleep. The beers are cheap and Lewis is an amazing chef. Definitely recommended.

Can't say there was anything about the Inn I didn't like.

It was my first day and the personal been so patient and they answered my questions. They even drive me to the water taxi! 12/10 for costumer service. If you’re an alone traveller women like me. Well it’s a safe place. They take care of you.

For one night it’s fine, but these not a lot of activities around.

Very personable employees! Our king size bed was comfortable. Fridge in the room worked, so we walked a couple of blocks away and got food to eat and drinks. The breakfast was top notch! Food was tasty and presentation was so excellent for all you food photographers.

TV did not work. You had to have a separate password for your internet/phone depending on where you were in the building (upstairs or main floor)

Lovely warm welcome as soon as we arrived, felt comfortable and at home. Bedroom spacious with great AC, communal terrace made it easy to chat to other travellers. Beers in the fridge for purchase and an amazing breakfast in the morning, also drove us to the water taxi station the next day. Not much around, although did have a good dinner in a nearby restaurant and there's a supermarket close by, but perfect for us! Would highly recommend for a home from home feeling :)

Fantastic location for us in a very quiet and safe area. Great to walk the dogs early in the morning. Everything was provided for us including a delicious home made pizza on our arrival The owners could not have done anything more for us. Very helpful and friendly.

We stayed here for one night after arriving in Belize before we headed to Placencia the next day. The hotel staff were super friendly and gave us some good advice for stops on our drive the next day, walking distance to a little store and a couple restaurants, short drive to a large supermarket. The room was comfortable, clean, reasonably priced, and had a fridge which was really nice. Felt safe.

An unexpected and last minute stay, due to the ferries being cancelled but the staff really did their best to accommodate. Clean and good facilities. Complimentary coffee, which is always a bonus.

Really enjoyed my one night stay here. It was quiet and the breakfast was great. I was fortunate enough to run into some other like minded travelers and it made the trip even better. Staff were super nice and considerate and all around very helpful. I'd stay here again without even a second thought. Highly recommended.
