We were impressed by the quality of this hotel. Beautiful location, superb room, incredible spa, very good restaurants, really, what more can we say? The room was incredible for a romantic getaway: comfortable bed, high-quality bathroom with a sauna for two, and a terrace with a private jacuzzi, a bay window with a magnificent view of the forest. Very good breakfast with a wide variety. A minibus service (transit) is available between the hotel's various locations. There are fun activities around the hotel: heated spa, boat tours to see the seals, llama visits, walks, etc.

The restaurants around the hotel are very good but a bit too expensive for my taste and unfortunately one of them has few vegetarian options (but that's nitpicking). Same for breakfast, some extra fruit would be good. The distance is quite long when you come from Turku but since we're looking for peace and quiet it's normal. The price is relatively high, but with everything included in the room, it's once again a nitpick. The WhatsApp messaging service that wants to offer you extra nights (for a price) is nice but a bit annoying and persistent, which is a shame.

The room was just fantastic. Great views all around from the scenery suite and the rustic “mökki” style design was really nice. The spa was also phenomenal with the facilities being very clean and impressive.

The “A la carte” restaurant was very expensive despite the food being good. This made it feel much less value for money. Another key problem in the restaurant was a shortage of staff which led to long wait times for food and service. Staff appear to not have been trained professionally in restaurant service and it shows. If the price had been lower, this would have been no issue at all. However, at the price point it was (easily €60 a person), a much higher standard of service would be expected.

Great hotel for a relaxed stay in the forest and near the lake. We enjoyed the private jacuzzi next to our house a lot, the view fron panoramic window was fantastic too. Also great that we could stay here with our dog; a dog bed, towel and bowls were provided as well. There is also a great restaurant - Solitary - nearby, the 5 coyrse meal with wine pairing was fantastic.

Unfortunately the spa was closed unexpectedly during our stay, which was disappointing as it was one of the reasons why we chose this place. The price per night is a bit high.

Great little hut, with lots of little details for your stay like cheese slicer, mini fridge (for your fizz). Very romantic if you want it to be. Nice little fireplace in the room/hut. Spa is really nice and quiet, good for couples. Lots of things to do around. Nice restaurants. Good parking and location for distance from city. Very ‘Finnish’ style so perfect for tourists to see some nature but also popular for local tourists.

Breakfast was good but not exceptional. Restaurants close a bit early for non-Finnish eaters. For a second spa you need to pay, but get a discount so it was fine.

We had an excellent time at Jarvisydan. At check-in a confusion on accommodation type was solved quickly. Dinners at Solitary and Wiinikellari’s Tulimenu were delicious. The trip to the Saimaa National Park and renting e-fatbikes were great fun. The various saunas at the spa are enjoyable. Alongside with the quality in everything they did, the personnel’s attitude was really friendly and all our questions got answered at the spot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Our suite was amazing and all the building were super pretty and cozy. The spa was beautiful and big and the staff was lovely. The restaurants were also great, BIG recommendation for the ”kota” restaurant! It was amazing. So beautiful and intimate, and amazing food. The chef was super nice also. The snow mobile safari was also great! The guide was helpful and kind, and we were driving for a long time in different terrains.

Minor issues with the cleaning of our room. The slippers provided were clearly used and had hair on them. The shower wall was pretty dirty by the floor and the champagne glasses in the kitchen were dusty and greasy. The spa was great, but the jacuzzi water was cold and the saunas pretty small.

Lovely location. Amazing rustic yet luxurious atmosphere. Gorgeous Lake Saimaa. Excellent breakfast & bistro food. Jacuzzi was brilliant. Sauna. AC was awesome in the heatwave. Wish I could've stayed longer! Lots of activities, got to enjoy the seal spotting trip (unfortunately no seals..) & Forest Cafe. Brought lots of cute souvenirs with me.

There was dust on the windowsill of the panorama suite, & on top of the electric socket. Shower could've used a curtain or something to prevent water spraying all over.

Its an amazing complex of deep relaxation in middle of nature. You can spend a week there and have new activities for each day. Their breakfast is very high quality and locally produced as much as possible. Many villas are completely private and hidden in nature n

During our stay, spa was closed for cleaning and we had to settle for sauna world which is just 1 sauna

The place is worth visiting. We loved our stay at jarvisydan in jan 2025. The wintery vibes were pretty fascinating. There were several activities to do. We enjoyed walk to laama park. There were horses and cute cafe to keep us warm in low temperatures. Spa visit was very relaxing. Rooms, food, cleanliness, photogenic spots and spa are going to keep you active. Memorable stay!!

The rooms are beautiful, the spa had really nice atmosphere and the location is very pretty, restaurant was great, super nice staff, lovely private jacuzzi

It was confusing that the spa access was included in one room price but not the other. The forest suite had a lot of weird little impractical things, like no reading light by the bed, can’t call reception for free, the curtains did not completely close, the cleaning was not spotless.
