The hotel is clean and the location is great. The staff were very nice and the coffee and bagels in the morning are super convenient. Beds are comfy and the AC works well. They have a hose outside to help wash off the sand!

They only do room service by request (which is pretty standard these days). With the beach days, sand, and seaweed we definitely needed more towels and a clean sweep after a couple days. I requested it in the morning but it wasn’t completed. When I asked again in the afternoon they swept out the bathroom, but I had to gather our dirty towels and bring them to the office for clean ones. Not a big deal just frustrating it didn’t get done during the day.

Beachside location in lovely picturesque Narragansett. Spotless room with comfy mattress had a nice mini fridge/freezer, microwave, large flat screen TV, and plenty of storage space. New heater/AC worked very fast to warm up the chilly April room. Appreciated too the sweet dinette set but best of all was the INCREDIBLE water pressure in the shower! Fantastically hot and with new shower head fixtures. Lovely check-in staff, complimentary AM coffee, and parking in front of room.

The whole room was rather small, and I'm 90% certain that the bed in our Queen Standard room was a full, not a queen. Walls are quite thin, as we heard a lot of banging around both next door and upstairs. Bathroom felt a bit claustrophobic even tho shower stall was spacious. Most of these issues weren't a big deal on their own -- we were looking for an unassuming beach motel -- but felt the price (over $120/night in chilly, off-season April) didn't provide great value.

This motel was located right across from the beautiful beach, immaculately clean, and within reasonable driving distance to Newport if you want to visit the mansions. (Be sure to check into the free RIPTA bus route 67 downtown to save on parking!) We were traveling with our adult daughter, so the three bed room was perfect. The staff was attentive and pleasant, and the coffee, juice, and bagels were a convenient quick breakfast. Lovely stay!

We enjoyed everything about our stay.

Front desk was very friendly and welcoming. I stayed during the late Fall season, so the area was quiet (not beach season). It was relaxing without any hassles. Across from the motel was the state beach. Even in a cold weather season, it was nice to talk to the beach and enjoy the breathtaking view of sunset/sunrise. The room was specious and very clean. Microwave, mini-fridge and coffee maker were in the room, so that was helpful to prepare a quick meal. Air conditioner was a bit loud but it didn't bother me after all. If Kleenex tissue was in the room, that would have been nice. There was nothing to complain about my stay, and I would definitely stay again!

The rooms are very, very clean with updated appointments and amenities. The room size is efficient, however adequate. The grounds are meticulously maintained and very colorful, with a wide variety of blooming plants and shrubs. The owners live on site and are attentive to your needs. They are also very friendly! The available bagged ice and bottled water was very convenient and saved us trips to the store. Of course, the location is just perfect. I highly recommend this property.

The rooms are small, which I do not see as a problem. However, some people may feel differently.

Location was great, right across the street from the beach so it was an easy walk. We were there on a quick trip and the price was perfect for a place so close to the ocean. The owners are lovely, breakfast is not advertised, but they offer coffee every morning with bagels/cream cheese. Would definitely stay again!

The wall AC unit was loud and it ran constantly...for running the way it did, I expected it to stay cooler in the room. We were comfortable, but it just didn't do a great job of pulling the humidity out of the air, so things felt sticky at times. The shower is also very small.

Great Location. Room looked recently remodeled. Had small fridge, diswasher, and small stove. We didn't use it, but will next time. Very clean. Bed was comfortable. Nice large screen TV. Very friendly staff. We will be coming back if going to this area again. Very close to shopping and restaurants in Narragansett area. Beach directly across from motel. Staff gave map and list of local amenties, restaurants, and shopping. We were very pleased.

Not much:) Parking lot is a bit tight. However it's understandable given the location. The room had and needed a dehumidifier, which we emptied because it required it. Between the A/C and dehumidifier room was a bit noisy. We didn't mind. However, some people may.

The room was very comfortable and had the expected amenities. The location was convenient for my sightseeing. Since it was off season (mid April) I did not participate in any additional activities or use the beach. Several restaurants and activities in the area were still closed for the season but the hotel did direct me to a very good casual restaurant where I sampled my first lobster roll.

The location can’t be beat. The staff very friendly and our room was very clean.

Outside of the rooms they have seating with a little table. It’s great because you face the beach area etc. which is all lovely but on either side of our room were smokers, who smoked quite frequently. I would suggest besides of course having nonsmoking rooms maybe have a nonsmoking section of rooms. I know that would be kinda difficult based occupancy etc. Everything is really nice about the hotel.

Cannot beat the location, directly across from the beach and very close to small strip mall with grocery and stores. Breakfast was bagels, coffee, juice. No housekeeping during your stay but that is not unusual anymore, so it was expected. There is a breakfast spot and restaurant right next door but that is closed Monday and Tuesday. Staff was pretty friendly. Great spot if you goal is to hit the beach and pretty close to Newport for shopping.

The wifi was really bad, we tested the speed while we were there and it was so slow it wasn't useful at all. The TVs have cable but would have been nice to be able to stream as well (which would need better wifi). We needed handicapped parking and there were no spots, but the owners said they plan to correct that situation and made sure we had what we needed.
