Did not eat there but after breakfast hours I wanted a cup of tea and the person at the desk was gracious enough to get me a cup! The location is perfect right on the main drag and easy to locate. Having the bar right there was good too since it was a windy and rainy day and nice to stop in and have a cocktail. All the staff, both at the front desk as well as in the bar were friendly.

Well we stayed at this location when it was The Rose and had the room up top with the balcony overlooking the ocean. It was a beautiful room and spacious. Our room this time was smaller, in the back and seemed to be for a young surfer guest. Also, the sink had a faucet that was hard to brush your teeth in because it stuck out so much.

We liked the staff and services. Unfortunately there was a wedding the weekend we came in and the people were extremely noisy. That was not the fault of the staff or Inn. Unfortunately, we had a family emergency on Wednesday morning and had to rush back. So we barely had two days to fully enjoy our time. Once again none of this was the fault of the Inn. Life just wanted to happen.

The location is perfect, ocean view. There is a restaurant on site and a free breakfast in the morning. The staff was very friendly. There is also parking for hotel guests. The rooms are charming and pets are allowed.

The bed was a little firm and there was no hand soap provided. The WiFi was very slow in the room. The sink in the bathroom is awkward and you can't brush your teeth without spilling water. We also had one hair in the bedding.

The only thing I wasn't happy with was how small the room was. It was the smallest hotel room I'd ever stayed in. Also, it had "2 beds and a patio," but it wasn't until I arrived that I realized it wasn't really a private patio; it was an area by the parking lot with seats in front of all the rooms. False advertising. The hotel itself and the location were beautiful.

The sink setup is terrible, highly suggest to change it. The shelve above the sink sticks out above the tiny sink, water gets everywhere because one cannot position their head close the sink for brushing/washing Coffee/water pots in guest service area need labeling so the pots are designated for single purpose, the hot water was undrinkable because it had coffee flavor for making tea.

Good view across the street ocean location. Unique Victorian house remodeled. Nice ocean view restaurant on the first floor.

Was enticed with room with patio and Ocean view in the online, write up for the price of $400 a night. once arrived, I learned the room was in the back of the main building. One Of eight in-line rooms. Ended up paying $100 more for private room in-the main building with nice view.-

The location is excellent. The view of the ocean is fantastic and walking along the road is beautiful. The main house is very pretty.

The motel style rooms in the back are simple and small. There’s a tiny bathroom. The small sink is located outside the bathroom near the door to enter the room. I believe at this price point there should’ve been bottles of water in the room and the Wi-Fi did not work the whole weekend we were there.

The Shore House is located across from the water and near to shopping, dining, beaches, and just a 30 minute ride to Newport. We had three women in our room and it was large enough so we were comfortable. The shower is great, with good water pressure, glass door (no icky curtain!) and fun bath items to sample. Great TV and easy to use. Rooms are decorated in fun beach/surfer vibe and clean. There's a mini fridge, too. Our room had great views of the water and it looks like most of the other rooms do, too! Great find!

The location of the Shore House is perfect right across from the sea wall and walking distance to town, the beach and restaurants. The front lawn was wonderful to relax across from the ocean on Adirondack chairs with drinks from the bar.

The bathroom was very small and the sink nearly impossible to use. It is a retro style with a faucet mounted to the wall but it has such a shallow depth that I could barely brush my teeth or wash my face. Impossible for two people to get ready at the same time.

Location couldn’t be better! Good lighting in the room, unlike most hotels. You can comfortably read in bed. Nice breakfast table outside room. Lovely hydrangeas beside it.

Could use an awning over that outer table.
