We arrived during the worst day of a heat wave. Couldn’t keep our stuff for a multi-week trip in the car and lugging it up to the 2nd floor was going to be a task. Chantal was super friendly, kind and willing to help! She gave us a room on the first floor closest to a side door. Excellent service from Chantal! The room was clean, spacious, the beds comfy, plenty of horizontal surfaces/charging outlets and the shower was great! The breakfast had a waffle maker, scrambled eggs and a host of other continental options to easily fill up your morning. Parking is a breeze. Laundry machines available for a fee.

We had a nice big corner room overlooking the pool. The breakfast was amazing with both hot and cold items including scrambled eggs and waffles (no meat though). A very good value for the ~$130 we paid for the room for 4 people.

They didn't provide enough towels or any bedding for the pull out couch (we had to ask) although we noted we were a family of four in the room. The pull out couch was very uncomfortable, almost unusable. The in ground pool was nice although not the highest quality (vinyl?). They were out of coffee in the morning and I let staff know and they didn't seem too interest it in refilling.

Room was impressive! The pics on the website looked good but I was not sure what the room would look like in person. Spacious, clean room with clean, nice looking, comfortable bedding. Staff was friendly. Decent continental breakfast, although if you are big on breakfast you may have to find another option. Close to Newport downtown. Across street from grocery store and close to many restaurants and other conveniences. Similar hotels in the area I looked at did not have 2 queen beds at that time, only king with a sleeper sofa so I chose Red Roof and glad that the room was exactly as pictured on the website.

For a budget hotel it was pricey at over $300 a night although it was competitive with similar hotels in the area. Bathroom was on the smaller side but still sufficient, only it would get really foggy so there wasn't good exhaust/ventilation. The outside of the hotel building was not much to look at but that was not important to us.

Quiet and clean worth every penny

We booked this last minute when our plans changed and our other hotel was fully booked. I had low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised with how nice this was. The rooms had clearly been recently updated and were clean. The bathrooms were nice, the beds were comfy, and the free breakfast was decent as well. Staff was extremely friendly

Very friendly and accommodating staff, great location and reasonable price, tasty breakfast waffles included 😁 We traveled with our 60 pound dog and they were welcoming. Nice clean grass area in back for dog relief. Rooms furnished in dog friendly materials so no worries about the occasional un-caught muddy paw. Easy clean.

Rooms can have better wall insulation , tickel drywall or something , peoples talking or snoring, next room and feel like thiy in your room.

Room was roomy and clean. I loved the coffee and you had the creamers that I use at home, that was a great touch!

The people above my room sounded like elephants when they walked. Might have had kids with them and that would explain it. Truly it was just fine. Kids are kids and I love them.

This hotel exceeds my expectations.. I booked this hotel last minute and was abit nervous about the cleanliness of the place but I was shocked.. I stayed in a king size room: it was spacious, clean, fresh and very welcoming. If your in this area, you should consider staying here. Ooo not to mention the receptionist, unfortunately I don’t remember her name but she’s Jamaican. She is just awesome.. very polite and gave us good restaurant recommendations.

Clean, friendly staff, safe area. It’s a bargain hotel so there weren’t many amenities, which is fine because we expected this. All in all, would stay here again for as the cost and cleanliness were all we needed.
