I saw online that Sonesta had a pool. But was not sure there was a hot tub. When I got there, not wanting to go in the pool, I did not have anything to put on to go in the hot tub. So that was pure regret, but temporary regret. There are alot more things in life to be regretful about, but dang I'm still wishing I had a bathing suit.

Nothing could have been better. I loved the lobby. It has to stay the same. It is bee-U-tee-FULL of Life. And I LOVE that the breakfast was served in a wide open space like the lobby with so so much seating space and all sorts of comfortable areas to choose from!

The Continental Breakfast was Great, Convenient and Stocked!!(Starbucks Coffee, as well!!) The Lobby is so “up-beat,” Beautifully designed and had A lot of room(square footage)! It was Comfortable..Quite Relaxing!!! They have an “S-shaped, Gorgeous, heated pool, half the “s” is an “outside pool,” with a Huge pool/patio area with lounge chairs and tables and a separated, Huge Fire pit, which is Connected to the other “s” shape of the pool, Indoors. They are just “divided,” at the top of the indoor pool’s Enclosed porch, with see through plastic!! There’s a big Hot-tub next to the “Indoor” side of the pool!! It’s Unbelievably Unique!! Very Clean!!!

Great value and location for visiting Newport area attractions. Very quiet location. Room was spacious and well-designed. Decor and furnishings were both attractive and comfortable. Easy to drive to. I would stay here again.

Not many dining options within walking distance of hotel. Was very disappointed that the only breakfast included with room or available at hotel was limited cold options (i.e. cold cereal and pre-packaged muffins). Front desk staff were hard to locate when needed.

What I didn't like was that Booking.com offered an upgrade for $4 extra per night which would have given me a 2 Queen Bed upgrade with courtyard view. After mentioning this to the receptionist at the hotel I was advised that those rooms didn't exist. So.... I don't know why Booking.com $8 would charge me the extra money. I will be hesitant to book w/booking.com again. My stay otherwise was a great experience at no fault to the hotel.

Good value. Room clean and well taken care of. Good size room. Nice decor. Bathroom spotless. Pool area. could have been a bit cleaner, socks and papers on table and floor for two days. Towels left from previous day(s). Loved the indoor to outdoor pool. Temp of water comfortable. Hot tub clean and hot!

N/A for the breakfast the room was smaller than I thought it would be but efficient. The staff was outstanding, going above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. Patty had a room available for an early check in which was greatly appreciated. Jackie made sure we had everything we needed, linens, toiletries, and information regarding beaches and attractions. Cindy made check out a breeze. Maintenance staff were always smiling. The staff all seemed genuine. The customer service was great.

I had to clean the sliding glass door to be able to see the most beautiful hydrangeas outside the room. We were told at nighttime that Travis would come and light the Fire 🔥 pit but he never showed up and that was a disappointment. At the time of our stay there was a group of over 35 teen girls who would come in the pool and jacuzzi at the same time. They were very loud and their “counselors would show up well after they had been there unsupervised, not following the rules of needing an adult. This happened twice during our stay.

The staff was very attentive and helpful. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable for the whole family, and the suite was spacious with a comfortable bed. The hotel was a great location to have a more affordable price with just a short drive to downtown Newport. It took less than 10 minutes to get pretty much anywhere we wanted to go.

I am satisfied with it overall. The room is clean. I brought my dog with me and I was arranged on the first floor where I could take him to do his business directly my from the balcony out. The pool is clean but too small.

The service of the hotel needs to improve as I left a message after I booked the room and didn't receive reply, and I thought I didn't bring my adapter to charge my phone and asked for borrowing one and they didn't have it. The pool was too crowed in the afternoon. There is no microwave in the room

Room and common areas nice and clean. The staff including house keeping were very pleasant. Check in and out was fast

I did not like having to pay $2.25 for a small cup of coffee that was gross tasting. I didn't use the little coffee maker in the room as I don't like powdered cream. I have stayed in many hotels that offer their guests complimentary coffee. I wouldn't have minded paying for it if it was good coffee which it certainly wasn't. We didn't like the location of our room as it took forever getting to it. The elevator was far away so we just went up and down the two flights of stairs.
