To quote my 6 year old “this was the best holiday ever”. Our stay was amazing and we would definitely come back. The customer service was more than impressive. From the day of my booking and my first email the lodge immediately responded and was so willing to help to accommodate our picture. The view of the mountains were breathtaking no matter where we were; from our room/ dining room/swimming pool to play area. This was some of the most friendly staff we have encountered, they went above and beyond to make our staff memorable, and they were so friendly with the kids always willing to help them. The outside play are was completely something new and really amazing the kids did not want to leave.

To be honest nothing, that is why we will come back.

The service was exceptional from staff checking up on us before we even arrived , the check in process was swift and seamless, the food, the waitresses, the room, the view from our room, the activities, facilities like gym, rock pool, indoor pool and games upstairs as well as outside activities for kids and service was worth every penny. I will definitely go back coz 2 nights was just not enough.

We were happy with everything and we have decided at some point, we will definitely return for a longer stay.

The road leading to the lodge has potholes so maybe take a bigger car to avoid damages. The location of the lodge is amazing, the views are spectacular. The staff (Julie, Debbie, Roy, Mbali and the rest of the members) is very helpful, friendly and warm. The food is also great. The room is super clean and comfy. I mostly enjoyed the rock pool!! There are so many attractions outside the lodge as well to enjoy. I’d recommend Dragonview!!

WiFi is not that strong in the rooms

The breakfast was freshly made and delicious, my son is still raving about the breakfast burger he had at the lodge. The dinners were also outstanding. Compliments to the chef. The lodge is in an excellent location, has stunning views and perfect for sundowners. Best sunset ever.

There was nothing we didn’t like, everything element of our stay was wonderful.

The host's performance was nothing short of remarkable. Their unwavering dedication to even the minutest aspects was genuinely extraordinary. The cleanliness was impeccable. The diverse menu was thoughtfully designed to cater to the diverse preferences of our entire family. A special mention goes to the fantastic play area that makes this place highly recommended for families with young children.

For families with older children, I would recommend considering booking two separate rooms instead of the family room. This suggestion is based on the fact that the family room's layout might not offer the desired privacy due to shared spaces like stairs, and having just one bathroom for all occupants could potentially be inconvenient. Opting for separate rooms could enhance overall comfort and privacy for everyone.

From the time we arrived we were treated with a great amount of professionalism and warmth. Robyn and her team went outbid there way to make our stay memorable and seamless. The views were absolutely amazing and it definitely allows for you to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city. We loved the touch of the rocky pools and the entertainment area which gave us every reason to stay at the lodge with very little need to venture out. The breakfast menu was also rich with some great tasty options.

Some of the dinner options could do with a some extra flavour especially the steak and calamari dishes. It would have also been nice to a shower upstairs and some serving utensils in the room.

Everything was exceptional. A very well thought out design for the entire hotel and especially playground.

Nothing I didn't like. However would like to make a suggestion since we plan on returning. The food options were primarily beef and pork which I am unable to eat. Therefore would love to see chicken and lamb options added onto the menu soon.

I loved the limited number of rooms which made the place calm and intimate. Also really great views.

I thought the breakfast could include things like americano and cappuccino, without extra charge. I ate no other meals save for breakfast so I can’t talk much other than to say breakfast could be generous.

From start to end - the facilities and staff were so welcoming. My children where more than entertained, the management team was well versed in what was available to do in the area. It was our first time there, it was amazing and we will be back!
