The location, the sunny unit with everything we needed

I was so shocked by an event that occurred on our last night there. I noticed preparations for a function in the downstairs entry way all afternoon. When I arrived home about 9pm everyone appeared to be having a great time. But at 10.30 I was alerted to extremely loud music thumping from the restaurant right at my front balcony. I called reception who said they would ask the place to turn it down which occurred for a short time and it then became unbearably loud bass again. My son in law in a separate unit on the level above me rang reception too when his baby was awakened and was told this was an Accor staff event. What sort of company who are purveyors of restful sleep would make this disgraceful disturbance to one of their own properties?

Location was excellent. The room was renovated nicely. Couldn’t hear the neighbours at all. Very clean and functional. Loved having use of the sauna. Although our balcony was facing the street and attracted a lot of street noise on some days, for us it was better than overlooking the pool. We got to hear the ocean at times and had lovely early mornings and late afternoons sitting on the balcony enjoying the sunlight and views up the hill toward the forest.

Sometimes the street noise was quite loud on some days but if you closed the doors it helped. We also didn’t realise the room wasn’t serviced unless you stay for 8 nights however the staff were more than happy to provide towels and extras amenities as needed so we were fine and kind of enjoyed the privacy in the end.

A pleasant room with good outlook over the pool area. Most rooms face into the area - there are 4 blocks of rooms - quarters. Good size bed and loved the relax couch to TV. It's a small bed sit/1 bedroom apartment, but ok facilities to cook and stay in if you want. The verandah is good for meals too. I stayed alone and I am not sure where we would fit my partner's clothes...but it can at a pinch. The best thing is access to Hastings St, the beach and the national park. It's a great happening spot in Noosa. There are a lot of people who have small children and spend a lot of time around the large pool. The hum of voices and screams of delight are nice, but not for all.

This is the maintenance month, so my room had a verandah which had scaffolding and painting work going on and marring the view. I had been told I would get an up grade or % off, but I didn't pursue when I realised neither had happened after I had collected my room key. It didn't matter too much as I was in and out a lot, and visiting/eating with friends in their accommodation. It would have mattered a lot if I was there with no other options as there were people actually on my line of sight for breakfast!

Location, lifts, flat ground in Hastings Street, having a washing machine , clothes dryer, ironing board, good iron, strong shower, availability of being able to get more toilet paper, dishwashing sachets for sink, washing machine and dishwasher. This was very convenient when only staying a week and needing to fly out so pointless buying all those products. Friendly staff. Access before check- in time to other areas until room was ready when too early.

The shower drain was very small and shower door did not stay closed so water can escape onto the bathroom floor if you don’t put something heavy against the door to prevent the leakage.

Location was fantastic, rooms were well-appointed and comfortable, albeit a little tired. We loved being on ground level with a little courtyard and direct access to a very nice pool.

There was a lot of construction going on at the property, including very noisy works directly above us (constant drilling and jackhammering), which really disrupted the peace on several occasions. We were not advised that this would be the case prior to arriving, or at check in. So check that before you commit.

We love staying at the Mantra French Quarter. It’s in the best location right across from the beach. We park the car and barely use it. We had a two bedroom apartment with full fridge and kitchen, and large balcony. No dining table inside, only on balcony. Two lovely bathrooms, and a side wall laundry. Excellent air conditioning. White linen. Very clean. Rooms not made up on a 3 night stay, which is fine for us. Excellent pool area, kids love it. Lifts come quickly. Three tvs! Close to clean Bbq area which worked for us for dinner one night.

Previous guests had put washing powder in wrong slots and washing machine had small smell and needed a clean (not checked by cleaning staff- that’s ok - I cleaned it). Unfortunately drawer dishwasher did not clean at all (turned on but just washed the minor food scraps around everything, notified front desk). These were minor issues not affecting stay.

Location was excellent. We encountered three different people at reception who were all extremely efficient, friendly and helpful. We didn't use the pool but the area looked first class and a great attraction for families with young children.

We arrived at the Hastings Street entrance and discovered that reception is around the back of the building. That needs to be better communicated to customers. The reception doors are difficult to open (and keep open) when wheeling luggage. Automatic sliding doors would be a big improvement. The living area was cramped (no dining table) and the shower/spa required a big step to enter. We're not complaining; these are genuine suggestions to make the venue even better. Time for a make-over/update, perhaps?

The size of the room exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect size for a family. We were poolside and the view from the room was fabulous. Kids loved the pool and the location was amazing being right on Hasting's street. Having three bathrooms was amazing. The patio's in front of our room and the ability to open up the sliding doors widely was fabulous.

I wouldn't say this is something I didn't like, more of a suggestion. The kitchen didn't have Oils, salt & pepper, paper towels, simple condiments and food wrap products like glad wrap. When you're travelling for a week, it's difficult to take these things home.

The pool was amazing-heated and a great space for kids. Perfect location to just walk out to beach and for coffee & ice cream etc. A lovely view from our room of the pool but with shading from trees. The rooms were a bit tired but that was perfect when travelling with little kids and the beds were really comfortable.

The heating didn’t work that well so the back room was quite cold for the kids.

Location was fantastic and the pool was amazing. Staff were very friendly and welcoming

Room was pretty tired. Dryer door was broken. The bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work so the whole bathroom fogged up. Water from shower poured out onto floor so always a very wet floor. Lounge very old, felt uncomfortable and not very clean. Unfortunately there was a lot of buildings work happening when we arrived.
