Natasja was so welcoming when we arrived. She was happy to organise game drives and the boat safari for us and share her tips for the area and give us recommendations for nice restaurants. As two 30-year-old girls traveling together, we felt very safe at the lodge. When we mentioned something was broken in the room, it was fixed straight away. The rooms were perfectly cleaned every day while we were out exploring. The braai and outside kitchen was our favorite thing to come back to, to cook our dinner and relax with a glass of wine watching the sunset and scenery from our little patio. We will definitely recommend the lodge to friends and family and we hope to be back very soon! Thank you :)

Masorini Bush Lodge is a wonderful place and we felt like home from the first day. Natasha, Eric and their dog are amazing hosts! They made us feel very welcome and helped with a lot of things: visiting the Kruger Park, organizing home made dinners by the fire and prepping good breakfast in the morning. The rooms are comfortable, big and have everything you need. The location is also convenient, since it is close to the Kruger Park and if you are lucky you get to see some animal visitors during the evening as well (we saw an elephant).

We had a lovely overnight stay. The lodges are clean and neat. We enjoyed the comfortable, king sized bed. Beautifull sun rises and sunsets in the bushveld. Natasha serves up a lovely wholesome breakfast. An all-round awesome base for those wanting to explore the Kruger. Thank you Natasha..

As our second visit must speak for itself, we just love the set up. Only 15-20 mins from the Kruger park entrance. The local town offer all we need from fuel to food and take-a-ways too. The hosts and staff are so friendly offering to help if we need something extra, They also have pool and lovely reception area that doubles up as communal area come breakfast if you ask. We will be back.

Amazing! This lodge is literally situated in the bushes and is perfect to start your safari early! You can spot all animals on the premises of this lodge, and we were so lucky to spot a leopard on our first night. On arrival we were friendly welcomed by the dog welcome committee Gijs and Guus, followed by the official check in by the owners Eric and Natasha. The lodge has all facilities/ amenities you’re looking for and beyond. Eric and Natasha arranged a 10 hour safari tour through Kruger Park for us and this was an amazing experience with tour guide Elias. We finished our day with a South African Braai Dinner, together with other guests staying at Masorini Bush Lodge. If we’re so lucky to go back to Kruger Park, we’re definitely staying here!! Nothing, everything was perfect!

Great environment and hosts. People that are complaining about the road either do not travel to rural towns regularly. This is typical for small rural towns and the dirt road is reasonably well kept.

The bed was a little too hard.

Lovely clean, modern and spacious A-frame house. Friendly host and hostess. The best shower! Loved the bushbabies at our house. Great stoep and outdoor kitchen area.

Would have liked breakfast options.

Wonderful, relaxing, and welcoming place with well spread and nice accommodation set in it own private massive area. The host were super, warm and friendly, offering breakfast if we need it and a pool to cool down. They have even put the names on the trees to help identify them. We had wildlife at our door dining area which was fantastic – tip do not feed any animals. Only a short drive from the Kruger Park gate of Phalaborwa which offers several good supermarkets, we used Checkers supermarket as they were well stocked. Kitchen is outside under the thatch roof along with the dining area and a BBQ, we found we had enough for our stay. There a separate parking behind the accommodation for our car and a shaded area to for the very hot days Thank to our host for all there help.

There was nothing we did not like.

The location is the best. A few kilometres from the CBD, far enough to be super quiet and serene. The chalet I got had a kitchen on the outside/veranda with a view of the bush. The bed was big and comfortable. There is no television giving guests an opportunity to relax and reconnect with nature. WiFi connection is very strong.

Nothing was not liked. I loved everything

We first met Nastaja upon our arrival. She was super friendly and even walked us to our room. We later got to meet her husband Eric when we struggled to switch the gas stove on. They immediately came to our room and sorted everything out for us. The place is very beautiful and so peaceful.

I loved everything except for the bed bugs. Not even sure if they were on the bedding which we took out from the closet or on the mattress. I was bitten on both my thighs and the pain lasted for days and was extremely painful.
