This is a beautiful hotel - luxury in the jungle. Hot water showers, air conditioning, fantastic wifi, very comfortable bed, super clean and spacious. A ten minute walk to Tayrona Park and buses also pass regularly. The restaurant on site is amazing, it is fine dining but at reasonable prices. I was impressed that despite being low season, everything that I ordered was available. Worth every dollar.

Villa Tayrona is in the umido forest and is wonderful. It seems to stay in a paradise full of flowers and colorful birds. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Food is delicious and the staff is kind and smiling. It is six minutes walking from el zaino entrance of park Tayrona.

We liked everything, we stayed there after a long day of hike in the Tayrona park and it was the perfect end of the day. The location is gorgeous, you feel like you are in the middle of the jungle and the facility fits in perfectly! There is a great chill vibe at common areas and the restaurant. The room was clean and spacious with a balcony and a hammock overlooking dense vegetation and birds flying around! The staff is very kind and helpful and we adored the two dogs and the cat chilling around the facility. We had an amazing stay and we will definitely go back.

The staff were so helpful all the time with all of the question, the restaurant food is superb - try the Costa Curry with chicken - you’ll thank me later!!! 😄 Location is great, 10min by foot to Tayrona entrance and the place itself was cute, we stayed in the lodge by the main road but with ear plugs I couldn’t hear a thing. As a tip: withdraw cash somewhere by the airport or in Santa Marta beforehand as around Villa Tayrona you can only pay by cash or pay a card fee between 7-12% per transaction. In Villa Tayrona though, they put everything on one bill and you can pay by card before you leave without an additional fee! WiFi can be spotty but then just restart and it works fine. It was so superb, I wanna come back even just for the food! Thanks a lot for your help & service to the whole Villa Tayrona staff!

Just so much warmth in each and every person working there. Beautifully design - the small details which matter. The food is spectacular at the restaurant with so much attention to the ingredients they use. Overall an incredible stay!

The Villa is few meters away from the main road, yes, there is some noise, but late night until early morning no problem sleeping with the balcony door open. Birds singing from the early hours. Very comfy balcony, a hammock, fantastic hot shower available with enough water. The view of the well-cared garden is amazing. Satisfying breakfast (optional), super tasty dinners and other meals available on the menu. Staff warm and welcoming, though not much English speaking, using Translator makes communication easy. :) The room was cleaned every day, so were the towels changed. The Villa is 10 minutes on foot from the El Zaino entrance. The local bus to take you to other beaches outside Tayrona operates all day long, you just wave your hand :) and for a 1.50 euro fee, it takes you to Playa Los Angeles, Playa Costeňo or further distant beaches. We also paid the extra trip to Chengue Beach, the most isolated and protected. The corals one can see in the lagoon waters are breathtaking. Hope it continues the no mass tourism regime, to protect this beauty. We only snorkelled and swam there. Nobody else, just an old man who lives there (pure Robinson life). Coming there takes some time and also not little money, but definitely worth it. A lovely macho cat and a lady dog accompanying you on the dining terrace make the Villa’s atmosphere even more pleasant.

I would appreciate some shelves or a small box like cabinet to store things.

Everything about Villa Tayrona is wonderful!! Amazing location at walking distance from Tayrona park, rooms are super comfortable and clean, the food is delicious and WiFi works great! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again! Best thing about Villa Tayrona is the staff, super friendly and always willing to help, they made our stay very pleasant. Really gorgeous setting, 10 minute walk from the el zaino entrance for Park Tayrona. Room was so nice and cool when we landed and the air con was great. Very smiley, welcoming staff with good food options. Bathroom was class.

Luxury in the jungle. I was welcomed as family. Waking up in my uber comfortable room and looking out of the big windows to the jungle was so precious.
