Great location, walking distance to Chinatown, NYU’s Paulson Center, and subway stations. There seems to be a shelter behind the property so leaving in the morning was a bit complicated as folks were lining up and some were a bit noisy. There is no full breakfast service, neither in líder nor a payed option. They do serve coffee and one pastry per guest. Pastries are pretty decent, coffee was meh. The rooms are clean, spacious and its cheaper than other alternatives I’ve used. Not a whole lot of amenities, but it’s a great place for a quick trip. We had a great view of the city even though our room was overlooking the alley.

The homeless shelter behind the property made it feel less safe when walking to the hotel late at night, or early in the morning. There is also a couple of construction projects around the block, but then again that is New York City all the time. There is a couple of dining options around the block, but most of them close early, so it was challenging to get a late night bite. The alley that leads to the hotel is “hyper-urban”, that is its made to look a bit more ”used up” and “vandalized” that it would naturally be otherwise. The walls are covered in graffiti and the scaffolding is plastered with stickers. I liked the vibe, but older or more conservative guests might find this detrimental to their experience.

The hotel is very user-friendly. Extremely clean. Staff very attentive. Location is practical, everyday I took a different subway line and none was more than 2 minutes walkaway. Breakfast was simple but good and enough. In each floor there is a lounge with towels, iron, water refill, etc. Highly appreciated.

Our only problem with the hotel was on the last day that they run out of breakfast at 9.30 am , even though breaksfast is served until 11 am. This would be a real damper in your day. Our MAIN PROBLEM was with BOOKING.COM. The title of each room category did not match the hotel rooms. We payed the heavy price expecting a Sky Queen room (floors 12-14, with a view) and we wrote this request in the Booking website. However, this was never passed on in the hotel (who were kind enough to show us their computer screen) and we finished in a 3rd floor, ZERO view, only one window against a wall. This was the King room, certainly bigger than Sky Queen but not what we wanted or pay for. The hotel mentioned that this wa snot the first time that Booking has messed up! BOOKING.COM: sharpen your game!

I really like the simplicity of the room, and the decorations were also very pleasant and stylish. The common areas were very well maintained and beautiful. It really has everything you need, and I loved the view from my room. Location was wonderful. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I didn’t have chance to use the fitness centre and the rooftop bar. Hope I’ll be able to try them next time!

It’s not really a complaint but a reminder that the small rooms can be very small and the toilet could be by your head side of the bed. The sink was outside of the bathroom at the other side of the room and that could bother some people. But in general, it’s a good price for what you get at the location 🙂

Great area to work and get coffee in the morning. They give you 1 complimentary cup of coffee (latte etc) per guest as well as pastry each day 7-11. Conveniently located to Noho/soho/LES. The alley itself is cool and the staff couldn’t have been nicer.

The neighborhood is gritty. It’s on Bowery, right next to the Mission which serves the homeless meals, an awesome thing. However we would find homeless sleeping in the courtyard in the morning and walking by was sometimes scary with fights. Rooms are also really small, which is to be expected.

Very nice set up with fabulous city views. Nice vibe. Breakfast was super excellent. Great neighbourhood. All very civilised. Highly recommend.

Ironically, there was a note on the desk saying to keep the noise down between 10pm and 8am to be considerate to our neighbours. At the same time, there was the loudest outdoor party happening in the bar which was practically outside our window and which went well on into the night - not ideal when you have just got off a flight and adjusting to the jetlag. Was quite on other nights though.

Comfortable, well designed room, though very small. Fine for one person, intimate for two. Nice coffee and pastries at breakfast with a good sized dining, lounge area. The alley leading to the hotel is well lit.

It is essentially a self service hotel, more like an Airbnb, though it is easier to communicate with Airbnb. I had a question after booking, and struggled to get any response. You can’t call - they tell you to email or text. No one answered my email, finally got a barely helpful response by text.

We stayed at Untitled at 3 Freeman Alley for 11 nights on our latest trip to NYC, and it was our first time at this hotel—definitely not the last! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The room was amazing—stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The bed and pillows were so cozy, we genuinely didn’t want to leave. In fact, we were so impressed that we asked the staff for the brands so we could recreate the experience at home! Breakfast was perfect for our busy NYC mornings—delicious pastries and a latte just how we like it, ready to grab and go. A real plus for travelers who appreciate good coffee and a light bite without fuss. The location couldn’t be better—just a street away from Soho, which is our favorite shopping area, and close to multiple subway stations, making it easy to get around the city. One standout feature was how easy it was to communicate with the hotel. We could message the staff via WhatsApp, and they always responded promptly. We truly can’t wait for our next stay. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a stylish, convenient, and welcoming spot in NYC!

If you’re looking for a full-service hotel, we’d suggest looking elsewhere. But if you’re like us, who prefer the convenience of picking up fresh towels at the lift lobby, grabbing a quick coffee and breakfast each morning, and having flexible, fuss-free service—then this is definitely the place for you.

nice location and new hotel

no hair conditioner in room. The shared facilities on each floor were basically all missing except for the water. so if you wanted to use an ironing board or get a coffee kettle, you didn’t have one. The coffee shop on the ground floor appeared to be only open in the morning at breakfast so if you wanted a coffee after that, you had to go out somewhere else. The view from my room was a brick wall and for the price point somewhere like CitizenM, for example, is cheaper, but you have often panoramic views of the city from your room.

Amazing hotel! Brilliant location to great food spots and lovely shops. Not far from multiple subway stops so the rest of the city is easily accessible. We picked the hotel as it had a cool, edgy style about it and it did not disappoint - the cafe/lounge spot and also the rooftop bar were great spaces to have when we wanted to relax before we started our day and finished it. We were located on the 3rd floor so no great views for us, however the room was exactly what we needed, simply somewhere to crash and recharge. Views of the city at night from the rooftop made up for not having a view out of our window, they were something else! Staff up there were also super friendly with great recommendations both in the bar and with places to explore and eat in the surrounding area. A complimentary pastry and coffee on a morning was also a really lovely touch.

A small detail barely worth mentioning but the A/C had obviously leaked at some point so the wallpaper was slightly water-marked around the vent.

The staff was lovely and the rooms were well designed. They do a good job at catering to the younger business crowd who are in the city for work— desks in rooms, adequate wifi, etc. Location couldn't be better.

The walls were really thin so you can hear doors slamming in the night/morning when trying to sleep. There is no gym and only basic shampoo/body wash combos and conditioner (no lotion). While its somewhat affordable for the area, it's about $100 a night more than it should be.
