The view, serenity, space in unit. Staff...always amazing. Tennis courts were lots of fun. Cold pool at villas was amazing. Hot pool is always an amazing way to end off the day.

Units are now a bit dated and may need some upgrades. Beds in this particular unit was very uncomfortable. Games room was sufficient to entertain, however, it needs a major upgrade. Pool table & foose ball table is old, broken and wobbly. We generally book at Montagu Springs and get our weekend pass to Avalon as well. This time round, with Avalon's improvements, its become really expensive and i.m.o, not worth it. Sadly, after all these years, due to no improvements at Montagu Springs, I believe my family has outgrown this space.

To the staff of Montagu Springs, thank you for always going the extra mile and providing top class assistance and for your attentiveness. The stay is always homely. The facilities clean, the pool crystal clear and temperature perfect. The premises itself accessible and within reach of absolutely everything. The outdoor facilities including the astro turf (soccer) and the tennis courts are superb and fun was had. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I have stayed at Montagu Springs over a dozen times. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the staff are really friendly. Super clean, well equipped, air conditioned chalets with very comfy beds.

There really should be a shop/cafe on site. The smallish paying heated pool (we were the only ones with wrist bands, the other 20 odd people in the crowded pool hadn't paid) is extremely murky with an island of white tiles hidden under the water, consequently we are all sporting bruises. It rained a lot of the time, of the 3 units we booked, only 1 had an awning which is half shredded, so we sat outside in the carport.

The house in itself was well equiped. Had all nessecities. Loved the fact that we paid reduced rate for entry to the hot pools at Avalon Springs. The confrmation call prior to our stay was good. The fact that security was well visible throughout he night, made feel safe and secure.

The walk-in shower though as water got through to the toilet side. Can maybe extend the hours for chalet guests at the hot springs. So wanted to still enjoy it after sunset.

Montague Springs - this Place is nice, excellent value for ita budget and relaxing. Excellent to spend few days with family

Not in Montague springs but in next resort Avalon springs where we paid R150 for day visit - their admin S. was rude and spoilt or i would say destroyed good memory about this holiday when we wanted to view to decide whether to stay in Avalon springs next time. After such behavior of Avalon springs i wont come back and will Not recommended their place Avalon springs to anyone.

The Holiday was lovely, clean house and basic requirements were available... The surroundings lovely and peacefull...

The heated pool was extremely hot and with a result wasted money on a pool we could not use but after much complaints we could enjoy the last day of the pool only... seeing that you travel from so far... The DSTV package really needs an upgrade as we really couldn't watch the channels we liked...

Warm pool were not operational and some ppl were offered an upgrade or an extra night Not us and we were booked 2 chalets with 7 in our family and used the Avalon springs at our own cost We were told it was because we booked thru booking.com which I felt was a bit unfair as we could of been offered a discounted rate to enter the pools at Avalon as compensation

POOLS WERE FACTORY ITS JUST EVERY TIME I WANT TO BOOK FOR A HOLIDAY THERES ALWAYS A WE FULLY BOOKED AND TO ME ITS DISSAPONTING I TRIED AGAIN BOOKING FOR DECEMBER 2025 AND RESPONSE WAS FULLY BOOKED AS, FOR THAT TIME MY WHOLE FAMILY IS ONLY AVAILABLE , BECAUSE THATS THE ONLY TIME EVERY ONE OF THEM CAN GET LEAVE SO THATS MY PROBLEM NEVER AVAILABLE FOR DECEMBER HOLIDAYS. PLEASE TELL ME WHEN THE TIME TO BOOK AS I TRIED AGAIN NOW EARLY IN JANUARY SAME RESPONSE FULLY BOOKED.
