The location is very good in the center of Montagu. The hotel is a boutique hotel with nice design, a nice garden and pool. The check-in process was very good, the room spacious. All the employees were very friendly. Breakfast is served personally. We got good information on hiking options and a heritage tour in the hotel.

Finding the hotel with GPS was difficult, there is no signage of the hotel in Montagu. According to Google the hotel is located in Bergsig, Bergsig is the next town after Montagu. This is confusing and should be changed, the hotel is in Montagu. I explained the issue to the manager.

Location was perfect for walking to nice restaurants. The manager booked Restaurants for all 3 nights of our stay and was always there to greet us in the morning. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Suited our needs perfectly - some guests may miss a tv in the room.

The staff was very lovely and friendly. Dyvonne was very wonderful he did so much for us, always with smile. His hospitality was excellent and put on a show for us in the evening with his guitar it was such a wonderful experience and staff the couldn’t do more for us. What an excellent service and hotel 😊

Amike and her staff were exceptional. Our first contact person was Shamisa, super friendly and knowledgeable about the room and advised us on what we need to know. Amike when the extra mile, she had booked dinners for us during our stay.

We had a nice stay at this boutique hotel. Everything is beautifully designed and very modern. We especially liked the garden with the pool. The location of the hotel could not be better, you are right in the center of Montagu and everything is within walking distance. Also the staff is really friendly and nice. Our room was very clean and modernly furnished. The bathroom with shower was large and clean. It is really a very nice and modern boutique hotel.

Unfortunately our room was smaller than expected and on the side of the street. We would have liked to have known this before and it was not fully apparent when we booked. The pictures at the "double room" are a bit misleading because there are many other pictures with with larger rooms, table and seating areas. In the end it was just a small double room without seating area and table inside the room. In addition, you can hear the deafening generators of the other hotels and restaurants when loadshedding. The breakfast was very good, but you didn't have much choice. They have a new egg menu every day and some small bowl of fruits and jogurt.

Fantastic location and beautifully decorated and comfortable room, a great pool and delicious breakfast. The hosts were very helpful.

There was little privacy in the room with the shower / dressing area largely open plan to the bed area and a lot of light coming into the bedroom in the mornings.

No restaurant on site but the staff were very informative about where we could go and advised us to make a reservation early.

Functional, clean, spacious and stylish room. Amike made us a packed breakfast that was outstanding. She also booked at a restaurant up the road for dinner, where we had an excellent meal. Thank you for a 5* stay. Can highly recommend.

The place is super cozy and nice. Staff is lovely and betond helpful. The breakfast was nice, I was actually excited to see what we will get for breakfast the second day (almost NEVER happens, because the breakfast almost always disappoints). So well done and thank you for a wonderful stay.

The walls are pretty thin, so in the evening you can hear people. Check out could be @11.00, so you wouldn’t need to hurry after breakfast. But I understand, they need to clean the place before new guest arrive.

The location is perfect. Montagu is a beautiful little town , situation stunning. Hotel is in a central and quiet area. Comfortable beds, stylish furnishings, good breakfast.

I think there could have been a few more staff on hand, to give out info on the area etc.
