Good value for the money. Water heater in the shower, little fridge with freezer in the room, AC, balcony, nice little garden with a pool. The location was great, just a few meters from a bus stop to Blue Bay, 5 minutes by foot from a supermarket and pharmacy (to the left when exiting the stay). 10 minutes by foot to the main bus station (to right when exiting the stay). There is an activities company a few meters from the stay, i didn't use it, but the owner saved my butt and took me with his car to a meeting point of another activities company when my bus was late - a really nice guy :)

Do not expect luxury, the room is clean, but the furniture and bathroom is old. The bed was squeaking, not very comfortable. I experienced water dripping from my room ceiling after heavy rain (probably the roof needs repair), but it was dropping in the bathroom and next to bed, so no big issue. The cleaning lady put some old towels on the floor when i told her. The breakfast was always the same but i didn't mind (baguette, yogurt, fruit jam, butter, little juice with straw, coffee/tea). All the above is reasonable because of the low price.

Room 202 Beautiful clean comfortable double room with balcony (table and 2 chairs) and gorgeous seaview. Room has a kettle, microwave, tall fridge with freezer; Powerful Ceiling fan and modern air conditioning; Safe, table, mirror, wardrobe, luggage table. The separate in room bathroom with detachable shower, wash basin and WC. Comfy double bed and a sofa bed for 2 people (all rooms do)…so 4 people in all could fit. Wifi reached the room and worked even though its meant to only work outside room in cosy communal area. Breakfast is good and for us was enough…crusty bread , butter, jam, cheese triangles, yogurt, fruit juice, banana and tea/ coffee. Served in a lovely eating area next to the sea (7:30am to 9:00am) Late check out is only 1000 rupees and came in very handy as our flight departed at 22:00 so we were able to stay until 19:00. The hotel is in a superb position. Restaurants, cafe, pier, big supermarket/ atm etc are all very close (10 min walk) bus to stunning Blue Bay/Pont Esny Beach literally stops outside the hotel gate next to the boats and opposite upon return. Blue Bay (great for families and everyone...calm shallow warm clear waters with little fish) just 30 rupees each way…bus is every 20/30 minutes. Pay in cash (small notes no bigger than 200 ideally if in a group) Taxi airport 800 rupees and booked for you. Wonderful friendly helpful staff...highly recommend. Merci Coco Villa

Absolutely perfect location! Close to the airport. 10 minutes easy walk along the coast to the bus station/KFC. At the bus terminal you can take a stroll by the sea. On the same path, about 2 mins from the accommodation there's a small shop for basic items like water, and snacks. 5 mins walk to a mini market.... 15 mins walk to Catholic church, and the MCB bank. I loved the sunset that I could enjoy with a nice hit cup of tea on the balcony! Beautiful cozy little place with overall wonderful hospitality. A beautiful garden, with a small pool (I could not enjoy the pool though as the weather was cold :) ).Breakfast was basic but adequate to start the day. Great value for money. I totally recommend Coco Villa!

Communication prior to my arrival was extremely poor (constructive criticism). The experience of a customer starts before their arrival at the establishment. A lot of stray, or loose dogs on the street ( this is not the doing of the villa) but perhaps they could check with those concerned as it could be dangerous for tourists walking along that road late evening.

A very chill and nice place to stay. The staff was nice and helpful with recommendations and booking activities. The room was big with a lovely ocean view. I liked that they served breakfast, because there was not alot of places to eat in the area. It was easy to catch a bus right outside the hotel to go to blue bay beach and very close to the airport. If you are staying in mahebourg on a budget i would recommend staying here.

I had alot of ants in my room every day coming from the door and balcony. i would find ants on my bed. Would be great if it was possible to buy some drinks or food on property.

Fabulous little guest house, for the money, it ticks all the boxes. Rooms are very clean, light and airy, the bed and pillows are comfortable, shower is powerful and every room has the most spectacular view over the bay. A simple but plentiful breakfast is also provided. The staff are friendly, especially the manager who is always available to have a chat or offer his help but is also mindful of your privacy. Lovely little swimming pool and well maintained gardens. Ideally located to go to Blue Bay or walk into Mahébourg town. There is a large supermarket only a few minutes walk away. We felt very comfortable and relaxed here, this was our 2nd stay and we will definitely return.

WiFi isn’t the best but when you have those views, put your devices down and enjoy the mesmerising scenery

The guest house is clean, well maintained. The owner goes out of his way to make sure you are happy and when we did an activity that we were supposed to have transport to but they had issues with their vehicle he drove us no questions asked. I would definitely recommend this guest house to anyone that is looking for a quiet place to stay with a good view.

We had a room literraly facing the ocean a few meters away from the water, from our room it felt like we were in the middle of the ocean. We enjoyed our night with the sound of the little waves :) The bedroom is quite big with 2 balconies Breakfast is simple but OK for the price.

The bathroom belongs to a museum, it needs to be completely refurbished. We didnt feel comfortable in it. If you are not into indou athmoshpere, the breakfast and reception area might disturb you. Furnitures are outdated.

Exceptional views and value/perfect location to transport/ Blue Bay/shopping/waterfront. Owners are always ready to assist. We fell in love with Mahébourgh. Will be back.

There are upgrades that can be done, but that would affect the price. I would much rather have it as is. We were not looking or paying for a 5 star hotel.

Mr Sheik is a very kind and helpful host/manager who organised an equally kind and helpful taxi driver. Coco Villa is a well run little place that is very well situated to explore Mahébourg and Blue Bay. He helped me with calls to my bank and kept an additional bag of of luggage for two weeks.

Only area of improvement would be to slightly increase the breakfast offering.

Staff was very friendly. Great location, near the ocean. Small pool, but nice. Very cozy garden. Very good beds.

The only issues are: - breakfast can be improved, only bread, gem, butter, coffee, yougurt and one banana per person. - there was no shower gel in the bathroom. There can be lots of cheap options for shower gel.
