Another little bit of paradise to add to my list of places I've thoroughly enjoyed. I chose to stay in Ayutthaya as my first stop while heading north. The location was perfect, a very short taxi from the station and what an incredible surprise the Baan Luang Harn is. There are so many options to explore, I chose instead a tour of the local UNESCO heritage site, which in reality was only 1km from where I stayed and about 30mins from Baan Pa-In Royal Summer Palace, a truly wonderful place. Anyway back to the accommodation, this was incredible value and the room and location was spotless. The cabins are set around a large water area surrounded by greenery. It's such a relaxing area, I found myself just sitting there letting my mind drift off. The pool was perfect, clean and tidy and welcomed in the heat. Although breakfast is available, there are plenty of options locally should you choose to purchase your own food. I took a short walk and found some amazing places to eat within 5-10mins of the guesthouse. They also provide bicycles should you want to venture a bit further. I'm sure I missed a lot of what Ayuthaya has to offer, and I'm more than happy to revisit another time and see some more of this amazing historic city. The room was perfect, everything worked..the bed was so comfortable and the in-room air-con was welcomed. There's a small veranda outside the room, and listening to the bird song in the morning was wonderful. With a great location, good size room and very hospitable hosts, this is a little bit of paradise and I'm more than happy to recommend based on my own experience.

I booked Baan Luang Harn based on other reviews and to be honest I have no complaints. Yes, it's very easy to find faults in life. However, I've stayed in western guesthouses that rate themselves as luxurious only to be put to shame with the quality that I found at the Baan Luang Harn. So in answer, there was nothing I did't like.

This place was fantastic value for money. The room was basic but cute, I recommend getting one of the little villas as the balcony is lovely. Air con worked very well. The breakfast was as good as any of the more expensive places we stayed at in Thailand and was served surrounded by the little lake with water lilies, so nice. The pool was ok but the times we went there were no sunbeds free. The location is fine if you don't mind a short 10 min walk to the main historic park. A 7-11 is just around the corner.

Would have been nice to have a kettle in the room, but for the price I'm not complaining!

The pool was so clean, cold and fresh ! So so nice. I had a pool room apartment, top floor, usually I would go for something more out the way but this was the best choice, it was not crowded at all, I even had the pool to myself on some occasions 🥲 This was a much needed pause and refresh. The hosts were so kind and helpful. The bike rentals are fairly priced and the bikes are in good condition ☺️ Breakfast is great and the location over the pond is really relaxing. My room was super clean the bed was realllllly comfy and the door had a secure lock. I would return! 10/10 Thank you.

This place is a beautiful little oasis in Ayutthaya. Our bungalow was clean, the common area was lovely, and the breakfast delicious - you can choose between different meals and there is a small buffet. The location is perfect. We rented bikes for a day (60 THB per bike) which were great to explore the Historical Park and its surroundings. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. We booked the afternoon boat tour through them to visit the temples which I can highly recommend.

The pool area wasn’t very inviting as the water didn’t look clean.

The staff were amazing, my wife had an upset stomach and the staff without asking delivered medication which helped greatly. They were very kind and attentive. The room was large and clean and had everything we needed with a hot and strong stream shower. The pool was a little small but was lovely in the hot weather and cooled us down. Breakfast was exactly like the pictures and you ordered each day. Unfortunately we did not take photos of the room but the pics online are accurate.

The rooms are a beautiful oasis in the rather grim city of Ayutthaya. 10 little bungalows surrounding a fish pool in the middle of which is the reception and breakfast area. Very friendly and helpful staff. It appears to be a family run business. Nice breakfast included. You can hire bikes here for 60 bhat and use those to cycle around to visit the temples in the area. There is a small swimming pool and sunbathing area.

The rooms are quite basic but this is reflected in the price, which is great value. WiFi a bit weak in the room but works. Good in reception area.

We had booked 2 pool-side rooms and were more than happy with our stay! I am honestly surprised about some of the negative evaluations, but when you look at how few there are compared to the very good ones ... The staff was very helpful & friendly. The breakfast was great. The pool was clean and had an excellent temperature. We were allowed to still use the pool after check-out. Thank you for that! The whole place is a pretty little oasis , with the bungalows situated around the lilly pond and the reception / breakfast area in the midst of it. A very nice set up. We could easily have stayed a few more nights and will happily come back.

There were a few small ants around in our room - but that is hardly preventable, so I would not hold that against the guest-house. That would be like saying "Hell, there were mosquitos!". The 2nd room had no "visitors".

Loved the little bungalows. Simple but clean with everything you need. Nice to have the pool to cool off too. Very good location. Close enough to walk to some temples. The owner also provided tips that were very helpful like where to find early breakfast, closest atm, etc.

Beautiful place and central to shops, close to train station. The pool was lovely and clean and beds were very comfortable. Staff and cleaners were friendly.Wifi good, Food,Tea and coffee available. Enjoyed our stay and will be back 😁

the staff were lovely and the facilities were well located. the staff were keen to assist and the Thai style breakfast provided each day was really good. The staff provided detailed info on local sites and other useful info like where to find the closest convenience store. The noon check out was great.

the facilities were not quite what we expected, we thought the place was a larger resort type set up. it’s actually quite small and the rooms are older style, but clean and comfortable enough. we missed having tea/coffee facilities in the room.
