Friendly staff, good value for money, good location.

Windows not sound proof and therefore woken up at 6 am by seagulls. Doors also quite light. Noisy people in the hallway can be annoying. How about some "silence please" signs like "Premier Inn" does it in their hotels? Very steep stairs, even for Dutch standards. Should be made known at the time of reservation. Elderly, disabled and people with heavy baggage may face a challenge. Building still carries the former Hotel Name "Bella Vista" which can be confusing at first.

Spacious quiet room at the back of the property. It had an outside courtyard from the patio doors. Loads of towels. Good storage shelves and hangers. Secure door openings. This room was really welcoming a huge mural on the wall of the beach area. Hairdryer and we had a fridge too. Good tv on the wall and good decor. Really nice feel and plenty of room To park bike at the front space. This was the best location for everything and I’ll defo be booking it again great communication with the staff and we even got in early to bag drop as we arrived early. Thank you hotel Poseiden -just get the courtyard zapped ready for next time and all will be perfect

The outside space could have been Tidier . I had to empty the full ashtray.

I loved my solo room, it was perfect and had everything i needed. It was clean and i must admit the mattress was super comfortable, i slept like a baby despite it was a bit too warm in the room. Beach few min walk, supermarket close by, restaurants and cafes too. I had a lovely stay!

It was indeed a bit hot in the room and the main door was making a loud noise every time someone came in or left. Luckily there were no party people at the time of my stay so no loud noise during night.

The room was spacious and had a seating area and a large amount of storage space. A fridge was available for €10 extra and there was a kettle in the room. The shower was good, everything was well kept and clean. The keyless entry (mobile phone but not an app) was very convenient!

There could have been more ceiling lights in the main room and the window was very stiff to close. The edge of the bed digs into the back of legs when you sit down.

The property is very close to the tram stop, the beach is right next to it and there are some cafes nearby as well. It was really easy to check in and use the electronic keys, the one person room is quite small, but I was pleasantly surprised how good the facilities were, including coffee, tea, kettle, so it had everything one might need and even more! And of course the friendly staff - my contact with the employees was great, I really appreciated their help!

I booked a single room, but got a bigger room instead - I think I got upgraded. This was really nice. I really liked the contact-less check-in and never had to see a single person, which is perfect for introverts. Also "Unlimited" Towels and simple ammendenties.

There was a family above me who had kids running around all the time, starting even before 7:00, which made sleeping impossible once they started doing it.

It was convenient regarding the area , close to the beach, not too far from the centre, shops around and easy to find. Clean with all necessities for one night stay.

Stairs were very steep, I was with my bike and I wanted it into the room as I'm concerned about any parking. It was a bit of a hassle to take the bike upstairs. I'm not sure if something during the booking can determine which floor you can book.

We spent my Husbands birthday in Scheveningen at Hotel Poseidon for the second year this time and we really enjoyed it again. The staff was always there to answer our needs, the room was really spacious and clean, the location is perfect only 5 minutes from the beach… We will for sure come again! Thank you !

I really liked the "self check-in" system. Not only because of the concept itself, but also the style of execution. When you enter the hotel yourself, you see a sign where the rules of the hotel are written in a pleasant tone, a place where you can take extra towels and an iron. The room itself already had a hairdryer, a kettle and a fan. It is felt that everything is done with respect and with the desire to make everyone comfortable. And in general, the location is very good. It is close to both the beach and the tram stop
