The hotel itself was great. Room large enough, had all of the basics. The bed was comfortable. We got caught in a torrential rain storm and everything we had on was soaking wet. The hotel conveniently had a coin-op laundry room where we could dry everything. It was an easy drive to the main attractions.

The location is only 5 or 6 blocks outside of the populated downtown area but it felt like you were in the middle of absolutely nothing. Not a restaurant in sight so you had to drive everywhere. If the parking lot was full (which happened often) your only choice for parking was in a muddy, dirt lot with no sidewalks for walking to the hotel entrance.

The staff was super sweet! Everyone in the front desk was very helpful and the lady making breakfast was super sweet. I loved how clean it was all the time.

I didn’t like that the pool was freezing. The parking was also always crowded and you may have to park offsite. I didn’t like that part the area around it looked sketchy. Also, the ambulance was nearby so we could hear it all hours of the day. Sometimes it even parked next to the hotel.

Loved how clean this hotel was. The bed was very comfortable after a long day, and the staff was so very sweet and welcoming. Extremely accommodating and the breakfast was excellent.

Only con about this hotel was the location. We got in late at night around midnight so being a woman along with 2 babies it was a little sketchy and the overflow parking being a bit further away and not very secure was a bit worrying. However I could see the location being good for people who like the night life of downtown or need to be close to the hospital.

I skipped breakfast slept in but location was very nice not a long walk to the Simmons stadium was very well lit Gf and her daughter will be there 2 nights for lania Wilson concert in November

The air conditioner was kinda weird we got to the room around 4pm and it was 75 degrees left around 520 to head to stadium and adjust thermostat down to 64 when we got back to our room it was 75 again but was set on 64 we showered then went to sleep but it did cool off and freeze us out

It was very clean, and had an excellent breakfast. The amenities were very good. The room had many conveniences, such as ironing board, coffee, microwave, and small frig.

The furnishings could be improved a little. There was a lounge sofa in the corner with a light behind it, but no side table. You couldn’t lounge and have coffee there because there was no place to set your coffee.

Staff was very nice. Beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was typical hotel "free breakfast" but it was good enough to keep us happy until lunch. We were able to walk to a fun restaurant, Camp Taco, for dinner and then to the downtown street the next day.

Unfortunately there is a lot of construction in the area. Our GPS was having a problem directing us because of all the detours. We ended up at a different Holiday Inn where they were able to give us good directions to reach the location we wanted. According to the front desk there will be a big park across the street once the construction is done so that will be nice!

Staff was great and the check in was a breeze. The facility is new and very clean throughout. My family and I had a good night sleep. The kids enjoyed the pool. Beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious. Breakfast was excellent and there were a number of options. Staff was on site replenishing items and keeping the area clean. This was our First time staying here, but this will be our go to moving forward when we drive up north.

Parking is pretty limited. I made a food run, arrived just before 9 and the lot was full. I do believe parking is allowed on a dirt lot just South of the hotel. If going out, it’s best to get a ride service. Just 2-3 minutes north of the hotel there are some neighborhoods that I would probably stay away from at night. Overall I would just be careful at night just like I would in every other place of the world.

The location was really nice, minutes away from several coffee shops, shopping, museums etc. The room was clean and comfy while above average in size. The room also had tons of luggage storage. The bed was a comfortable firm. The AC worked exceptionally well. And they offered really nice bathroom amenities.

There were dirty floors in the elevator and the lobby area outside of the elevator that remained for the duration of our stay. The pillows were, like most hotels, fluffy flat (best way I know to describe them). The parking was limited. Also, the traffic was noisy throughout the night. It sounded like street racing at times.

The Front Desk Staff, Nikki & Kesha were phenomenal! They were attentive to our needs as guests in the City and the Hotel. They made us feel at home and among family. Because of their hospitality, I will return and have recommended the Holiday Inn Express to friends. The breakfast had a delicious variety of hot/cold items to choose from. The location was close to the Downtown happenings. The hotel was modern because of the design, but offered a comfortable feel. It was clean from the entrance, elevators, and rooms. Great job staff for caring about what you do and where you work!!!

The only thing that could have been better is if we could have had a longer stay. Due to other obligations we only were able to stay for one day. But there is always next time! Looking forward to returning soon!!!

I love the rooms and how clean they were...the front desk staff was also very nice and helpful as well...some housekeeper were weird because they just stared at us and watched us which made us a little weirded out but other than that it was very nice!
