Big room

A positive was it was great to have another door out to a small outside area with a table (with ashtrays) and chairs. Every room also had a door/table/chairs out there too. The shame/negative was it was also where guests could smoke, so we could smell another guests smoke from inside our room if we left the door open. No other motel we’ve been in lets guests smoke directly outside their rooms. Not a deal breaker just a slight negative to our stay.

Location was quiet and the room was quite spacious. Facilities looked a little dated but worked well. The room was comfortable with plenty of room to put baggage and belongings. There was a lovely garden outlook at the rear of our room and a second door leading out there. The windows were openable and with the second door gave great air movement and available light into the room. Check in was slow and required more data than I am comfortable being stored at every accommodation venue I visit.

The fridge was full of mini bar supplies making it difficult to use much of the fridge for your own food or drinks. The amount of liquor ,including in an extra basket as well , was way over the top. Plates and bowls were by request so I feel that would be a better system for alcohol as well.

We were looking for a place that can accommodate our early arrival at 0630am and they did. Also upgraded us to a 2 bedroom accommodation upon check in. Electric blankets were provided, although the heating in the room was good. It was 8-10 minutes walk to Mansfield depot (also in the town centre) and also right across Mt Buller ski and chain hire, convenient. There’s also Afterhours number to assist you. Thank you.

The microwave wasn’t properly cleaned.

Hotel and room facilities were excellent, room was clean, spacious and quiet, staff maintained room well, service and communications were excellent and pool and the grounds were well maintained and in great condition. Everything you need was on offer and plenty of brochures on what to do were available. Highly recommended place to stay and I will stay here again

Great hot water/shower, good sized bathroom, bed and all facilities were up to a good standard. Comfy couch, adequate table & 2 chairs, plenty of space for luggage and all the other dross one travels with. Excellent that they provided a powerboard! (but I brought my own). Quiet - both from road noise and other guests. Internet was fast & reliable

Really narrow front doors - but not much can be done about that. Cups, spoons, even dishwashing liquid, but no plates/bowls, knives & forks Several bulbs were dim or out. Not a problem for me, but maybe for someone else. TV did not have ABC RN as a scanned channel..odd. Bar fridge was overpacked with mini-bar tempts...not enough room for my own items to fit.

An older Motel on the outskirts of town, with everything you could need for a few days away from home. Rooms facing swimming pool are nice and quiet, plenty of parking at rear entrance. Cooking facilities include, microwave,kettle, and Toaster. Various snacks and drinks are available at extra cost, but not used this time.

Comfortable bed, easy check in, great location, quiet, parking out front, mini bar if required, big towels provided, great price, plenty of glasses / plates etc.

The ceilings need a clean / vacuum. That is literally the only thing I would change considering the excellent value for money and the great amenity of the units.

It had just about everything I needed, and is in good walking distance from the best restaurants and cafes, as well as the Great Victorian Rail Trail.

1 light bulb needs exchanging. The fridge was humming but I got used to it quickly. There were quite a few many mosquitoes present although the flight screens appeared intact and I took care not to invite them in.

Loved the location, loved the garden view from our windows, was nice having table and chairs outside our window, was lovely and peaceful

Had trouble getting the heater going, the toaster didn't want to keep bread down so had to fight it a bit. Some plates and bowls would also be a good idea to have with some cutlery .Would have been great to have more info on places to eat , pubs etc. Maybe even places of interest nearby. The ladies that came to do housekeeping weren't great , so maybe that needs to be addressed

It was easy to find and the check-in process was smooth. The room and bathroom were clean and checked every day I was there. I know I had neighbours but couldn’t really hear them once I was in the room (except New Years when people are generally louder and up late!).

Just an FYI - it’s an older style look but if you don’t mind that, it’s definitely worth staying!
