The small cabin, the park's location as well as the surroundings, albeit a bit hot and dry at the time, were great. We caught up with friends in Alexandra and the park was within an easy drive into town. The park caretakers were friendly and very helpful, making our stay very pleasant indeed.

The typed instructions on how to use the TV and streamimg box were a little confusing, they seemed to be wtitten for a different brand of TV. We did get the hang of it after a bit of trial and error so no big deal, but probably should be updated.

The 3 bedroom cabin with river view was fantastic with more than enough room for our family of 5. Cooking facilities including the BBQ were well maintained with all the pots, pans etc. of a good quality. All 3 kids (6, 9, 12) commented that the bunk beds were comfortable and they slept well. Kids are definitely well looked after with many activities to keep them occupied (happy kids = happy wife). Reverse cycle unit worked well and kept the cabin at a nice temperature. Our kids have grown up around water so they absolutely know rules when it comes to the river - but worth taking precautions if you have little ones.

Main bedroom mattress was pretty awful and the couch is also not the best with little (if any) support.

Loved the layout of our cabin and the facilities at the park were great! Beautiful location; calm and so pretty. Pool was great and so clean and the jumping pillow was so fun.

Nest of jumping jack ants near and on the steps to our cabin. Of course this is not fault of the staff but just wanted to pop this in to see if more can be done about them as they bit me and terrified my sons; i had to carry them up and down the steps.

The location, facilities, friendly management and cleaners. We stayed in a river cabin for the week, fantastic location, great to relax on the deck and watch the wild life on the river, on our last night we stayed in a safari tent - very modern and comfortable. This is our third visit and we will be back again.

I like the location of the park. Staff was really friendly. Kids liked the option to borrow the DVDs. Catered to all our needs during the stay.

Just wanted to suggest: Consider providing the electric blankets for the bunk beds as well

I didn't spend a lot of time outside as I feel the cold and the cabin was nice and cosy. My partner and son loved the playground and jumping pillow. My son particularly enjoyed the communal fire pit where he and my partner met and chatted to some other lovely visitors.

The mattresses were a little uncomfortable, but that's not unusual in a cabin. It just makes you appreciate home a little more.

Location and staff. It was in great location. River running through the park and very close to the very good fishing spots nearby. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Cabin was a bit small, even for two people. Some outside furniture will be a great addition.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our cabin was comfy and clean. Our first time staying in this area and we really enjoyed the relaxing stay we had in big 4 taggerty and also being able to visit local towns.

Cabin was really comfy and had everything we needed for our stay. Playground and activities for the kids were great, lots to keep them entertained!

Laundry was a tad expensive ($5 per wash) but that is in no way a deal breaker.
