Great complex with beautiful beaches, views and swimming pools. Comfortable bed with nice TV ( Netflix access ) and a relaxing balcony.

The room had 4 spiders when we came and after I called the reception they told me they cannot bring a vacuum cleaner for us to clean them and they would also charge for extra cleaning if we wanted them to come do it ( outside of the service that’s free once every 3 days ) In the end we had to find our own way to clean the ceiling. Don’t get me wrong, after I cleaned them, the rest of the stay was good and the staff was helpful with other things but it’s important to mention this experience as feedback.

We returned from Santa Marina a couple of days ago, and we enjoyed every day of our stay. We absolutely loved the overall aesthetics of the village, including the beautiful alleyways, the lush vegetation, and the wonderful pools. Our room had an amazing terrace with a gorgeous view of the sea. I know some guests mentioned the long distances to walk from one place to another within the village, but we liked it. The old town of Sozopol is literally 15 minutes away on foot from the Viva Mare restaurant in the southern part of the village. In the northern part, there are public beaches, which are great. Other things worth mentioning are Arkutino Beach, which is about a 10-minute drive away, and the Ravadinovo Castle. We will definitely return for another vacation!

One thing I hope will be improved in the future is the parking, even though we opted for the paid option (they will give you a key to lock your spot if you are away)

Food and staff exceptional! Pools as well 🥰 very clean as well! I want to come back.

You have to go up on hills (because it’s weird to call bell boys to give you rides whenever you want to go to eat, to pools or to the beaches). If you stay next to people with children, it feels like they stay in the same studio as you 😅 it’s normal for kids to be loud (and their parents), but I come to relax, not hear them fight and yell. It’s not Santa Marina’s fault, but I’m just saying that the walls are kinda thin.

The facilities are very nice overall. The breakfast was very good, with a huge variety. For the rest, everything was perfect.

We had issues with the internet on the last day of our stay. As for the rest, getting from Villas #402 to the Santa Marina Hotel, where we were going for breakfast, is a bit inconvenient, as we had to walk about 10 minutes to get there, and keep in mind that there are uphill and downhill sections.

Great choice of lovely pools which were never too crowded, even in high season. Showers and Lois and apartments all kept clean. Helpful staff on the whole except the check out being busy and staff not answering the phone… Trees and no cars on site makes it cooler and relaxing. Parking is about 8 euros a day extra. We walked easily into Sozopol for dinner twice and also self catered. On site restaurants are ok but not great value. We had a ground floor flat in the 200’s with a quite secluded outlook and quiet neighbours… some of that is luck as you are allocated on arrival.

Need better recycling labelling and more frequent outside bin emptying so people have no excuse to be lazy and not sort their rubbish out. A coffee cafetière or similar. Only kettle provided! Lack of this is simply to maximise profit with buying from the site.

The place was very nice, beautiful with lots of facilities which the guest can use even if he want to stay only on the territory of the village - there is all you need! The staff was a little bit not smiley and warm on arrival but the lady who was on reception when we were leaving were really nice, asked about our stay and if everything was alright, if there was some problem, which was very professional. 👌🏽 The rooms were really clean, we were in apartment, very clean, with a good kitchen, big terrace etc. There is an iron and iron desk, hair dryer in the room which is very important for me and I guess for many of the guests too. Also a full length mirror on the wall. 👌🏽 The place is very good.

It wasn't exactly something I wouldn't like but it was a lite bit uncomfortable that there was not a standard type of electrical outlet and you can put in the hair dryer and the iron only on two places - in the kitchen and next to the mirror where is not enough place to put the iron desk for example and it's far away from the bed if you wanna charge your phone next to you while you are in the bed.

The room, sea, location, room service, breakfast, dinner were perfect! All staff was very kind and polite except of the receptionist Iva.

The lady at the reception desk Iva was rude and hostile, didn’t want to help and even didn’t try to be polite. She made inappropriate comments about my mother’s language skills (she does not know English). I would recommend the hotel management to take seriously her unacceptable behavior and take actions to prevent this in the future, as the reception staff can ruin any business despite of how good it is because they are the first point of contact.

Santa Marina village is a great place to stay and chill near several pools or on the beach. An apartment in the apartment hotel "Santa Marina Holiday Village" was good value for money, thouh it could be cleaner (floor was like dusty) and better maintained (lock in the toilet was broken). But apartment was with great balcony, nice sea view, and it was a really nice place to stay.

The biggest disadvantage is difficulty with parking. Hotel rents parking lots on the street from the village administration, and there is a big risk that parking won't be available. At the same time, there is literally no place to park so if you arrive by car and there is no available parking lot, you're in big trouble.

Pools were nice. Apartment was spacious and comfortable. A/C worked well. On-site stores were nice.

No counter space and stovetop would beep if you put anything on it. Check-in there was a line and you had to wait 20+ minutes. Paid parking is tiny. Very hilly. Not good for someone with more limited mobility. You have to pay for beach chairs. Restaurants were expensive.

An excellent location for a family with children. We liked the cleanliness of the complex's courtyard, the abundance of greenery, and the tranquility. The breakfast was very diverse and delicious. We had access to two beaches, one with sand where you could stay in the shade. This beach has a restaurant where you can order something for lunch. Sunbeds are available for rent on both beaches. The second beach does not have sand, and you can reach it by elevator or stairs that descend to the beach.

What we didn't like was the fact that all the restaurants within the complex had quite high prices, and the food was not to our taste. In other words, it was not value for money. Although the complex is very peaceful, on one of the evenings, a group of young people woke us up by shouting under our window. We had to call security at the reception to calm them down. This disturbed us a lot, especially because we had a small baby with us.
